When the store first opened the Farmington media marketed it as a " teen boutique" so I'm glad that I actually stopped in and they have a lot more styles. To my dismay, the shoes were returned to me without the original box and dust bag! The shop owner insisted it's their policy to not keep boxes/ dust bags due to space and I would have been notified of this at the time of my selling. These items add value to resale items and I NEVER would've voluntarily let them be tossed in the garbage. Had I known this policy, I would've taken them home just in case the shoes didn't sell. On top of this, I found out the shoes were priced to sell at the shop for more than I had originally paid for them! Of course they wouldn't sell at a crazy inflated price! Everything in this store is overpriced for the used junk that it is.

I've picked up some really nice gently used vinyl like gems from Depeche Mode, Bauhaus, David Bowie, Roxy Music, Bryan Ferry, and Kraftwerk... prices are higher than most for barely used lps but they have amazing selection, and quality is sublime.. they pretty much have everything you could possibly like.. We picked up some new (brand new sealed in plastic) vinyl and the new stuff was not cheap but it wasn't terribly high priced.. at this juncture it is difficult to score really amazing bargains on new or used vinyl- that's just the way it is for vinyl.. I bought a new copy of an old Amy Winehouse lp for a decent price... still had some leftover on the gift card for another vinyl for my husband.. (sister in law bought us a gift card for the holiday- what a gift!) Staff is helpful and seems pretty knowledgeable.. the stock tends to move fast so you have to stop over regularly to see what you might unearth in the used bins.. They have much more than vinyl. They sell a niche array of novelty gift items and games, so you should look around. My husband likes the selection of novelty socks.. Overall, a very good local music store.. yes the prices are a tad high, but vinyl pricing is out of control lately everywhere.. for the quality and awesome selection, it is a must see.

I was going to purchase the gazing balls and stand and the munchrooms mushroom jerky, until I got into the checkout line. It's about 50+ people deep. At least have six staff members to cash you out. I don't have the patience to wait for however long it might take. One big red maple tree goes for about $1,600. If you do end up coming here to purchase anything. Be prepared to wait at least a good 15 to 20 minutes or more to get through the line. Will have to come back on a non-Mother's day weekend. It's worth a walk through, so much to see. The boutique shop seems a bit out of place though.
