Croissant/ jams/ cold drink/ hot drink

Insane. I have been vegan for 9 years and have never had a croissant, it was amazing !! I got the croissant meal thingy which came with 1 croissant, a toasted baguette, butter, 3 jams, 1 choice of a cold drink (I chose a smoothie) and 1 choice of a hot drink (I chose espresso!) only for 15€! It was sooooo delicous, I wish I can take this place back home with me

Finding vegan food in Paris hasn't been easy so this was such a great find!! Delicious breakfast and coffee from here. We got two orders of pancakes (with chocolate and maple syrup), the grilled cheese, açaí bowl, and avocado toast. Everything was prepared relatively quickly and was delicious. The staff was super nice and there is both indoor and outdoor seating. The croissants and cranberry muffin were also excellent.

What a cute little vegan spot in Paris! I love the color blue, & it was so eye catching when looking for the building. I went there twice - that's how good it was! I tried the pumpkin latte with an açaí bowl, kind of like my brunch meal. The pumpkin latte was one of the best I've ever had and the açaí bowl wasn't a disappointment either. The second time I ordered the special of the day - I am blanking on the name but it was equally as delicious as the first time. Complimentary water right by the register. Friendly staff, which spoke good English. Tiny but enough seats to accommodate as long as people don't linger ... don't be that person! When you see a line, move on to the next spot. I'd go back next time I'm in the area.

Vegan French pastry goodness

Completely vegan brunch spot that has a nice selection of some of the best French pastries in Paris - my favorite of course being the classic croissant! Light, crisp, and flaky on the outside and soft and doughy on the inside. We also tried the cookie butter cake which was surprisingly light with just the right amount of sweetness. So good we came back multiple times on our trip! We'll have to try their actual dishes next time we're in town!

Wow! I thought I was going to have a hard time finding vegan food in Paris and Cloud Cakes was my breakfast heaven! The staff was so kind and lovely, the red velvet cupcake took me to another planet and the lattes were perfect way to start our morning, merci

Wonderful brunch and all vegan from bread to coffee. It's a must try for everyone! Place is hip and easy going ambience.

Nearly everyday I wish there were a Cloud Cakes in Boston, because if there were, you'd find me there every. single. weekend. When my boyfriend and I bought tickets to Paris, Cloud Cakes was one of the first places I bookmarked, and it lived up to all my (very high) expectations. We went to Cloud Cakes at around 11:30 am, so weren't sure whether to order breakfast or lunch, though in hindsight we really should have come back again to try both. Eventually, we compromised and shared the grilled cheese, a croissant, and a piece of marble cake. I also ordered a latte and my boyfriend had an espresso. The grilled cheese was delicious, and came with bread, vegan cheese, mushrooms, and a side salad. It was grilled perfectly, gooey, and exactly what I hoped for. I've had many croissants, and this one, which looked to be partially whole wheat (?), did not disappoint. It wasn't quite as "buttery" as the other vegan croissant I had in Paris at VG Pâtisserie, but it was so light and flaky that I could have inhaled three. In fact, my boyfriend actually did go back and order another croissant for the road, which never made it out of the shop, oops. The marble cake was also solid. Super dense and moist with ribbons of chocolate and vanilla batter- exactly how a marble cake should be. I loved my latte, which was the perfect blend of creamy and coffee, and the espresso was tasty too. All this said, go to Cloud Cakes!! It's totally worth whatever trek you need to make it happen.

A bit yuppie but they have good vegan carrot cake and iced coffees. It's a cute space, wouldn't recommend a party greater than 4 as the space is a bit tight.

Avocado toast, pancakes, and lemonade

Cute little cafe, great for breakfast. We had the avocado toast, pancakes, and lemonade. Both were great and lemonade was fresh (recommend asking for the fresh juice option)! Went around 930am and it wasn't too crowded so we were seated immediately

Cloud Cakes is one of my favorite places in the world. I first visited both locations in 2018, and did not love them as much as VG Patisserie off Voltaire. I tried them again these past two weeks (2022) and I went every-single-day (oops). Brilliantly kind staff at each location, the best iced drinks in Paris, and extremely fresh and flavorful food every day. Incredibly fair pricing, very fast service. If you love pastries, and are also looking for great food to keep you going while you're in Paris, you truly have to stop by either location.

Salad, soup, veggie grilled cheese, and a juice.

So delicious definitely a spot I will continue to go to. We ordered salad, soup, and veggie grilled cheese. Everything was perfect. We bought some of there amazing croissants to go and a juice. If you like yummy vegan food this is the spot! They had an big selection of good looking pastry's and sweets we'll have to try them next time!

Cute little cafe with a window full of delicious looking treats!! I went here to meet up a couple friends on a Saturday morning. After thirty minutes of waiting for them, the place filled up (10:30am). Once we ordered, I got the pancakes with syrup and my friend the açaí bowl. Both dishes were very good. When I first saw the pancakes I thought they'd be a bit lacking (since I'm more familiar with massive American pancakes), but they were just enough! I love how much fruit is put on them. There are also so many cupcakes, muffins and cakes you can have too. The environment is very inviting, staff is nice and can speak English, and neighborhood fun to roam around. I would come back here for the sweets!!

The cutest little spot in Rue Mandar! Love the all vegan cake selection, the range of breakfast they serve and of course the vegan croissants!!

Angelina, Paris, France -- April 12…read more Our family of four with kids ages 9 and 10 stopped here for lunch after visiting the Louvre, drawn in by its reputation for having the best hot chocolate in the world. We were looking for a place to relax and refuel, and the experience felt a bit mixed overall. Arrival and First Impressions The space is elegant with classic Parisian charm. The line moved quickly, and we were seated with a great view of the dining room. It felt refined but still comfortable. The Highlights The famous hot chocolate lived up to expectations, thick, rich, and almost more like a dessert than a drink. We also had French onion soup and an éclair, both of which were very good. The pastries were clearly well made and thoughtfully prepared. The kids had chicken tenders, which they enjoyed, even though the tomato sauce was a bit different from what they expected. The Challenges The biggest drawback was the price. The meal felt expensive for what we ordered, coming in at €154 for a fairly simple lunch. Service felt slightly rushed as they moved tables along quickly. Final Thoughts We would likely return if we were nearby and specifically craving the hot chocolate again. It is a classic Paris stop and worth trying once, but the value may not justify going out of your way unless that signature experience is high on your list.

It really tastes like melted chocolate with a bit of milk mixed in to make it more drinkable. We went at a bit of an off time, late morning and it wasn't overly busy. We saw our server once and I couldn't recall who he was when it came time to get the bill. I asked a hostess walking by for our check and she told me to ask our server while walking away. We were able to flag another server down eventually but the whole process just took too long. The tables for four have chairs that don't quite tuck in causing for a bit awkward seating. If you like really thick hot chocolate, give it a try but otherwise ok to miss this one. Plenty of good hot chocolate throughout the city.

I had just finished my time at the Eiffel tower and walked over to this restaurant for a drink and a snack. I was seated immediately, waiting for the rest of my party. The staff were incredibly patient, allowing me to stay for the fifteen-ish minutes it took for my family to arrive. We, of course, ordered the hot chocolate topped with cream. It was incredibly rich, which was the draw. It was required that we each ordered our own teapot, which provided about two and a half cups of hot chocolate. This was a bit excessive, as the drink was heavy and I could only stomach a cup. I did wish the restaurant allowed us to split the pot amongst our table. Nonetheless, I enjoy dining at Carette and returned on my second Paris trip with my husband. Anyone visiting for the first time should try their thick hot chocolate at least once.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more+ Notre Dame Granny Smith Apple Confit - Was refreshing! I couldn't tell if this was a real apple or some fancy French creation made to look like one - that's how real it looked! Only thing that we were missing was some good ol' milk! + Almond Croissant - Once again, delicious! Solid croissant and definitely a good grab and go candidate. = Citronnade - Was just OK. Lemonade that was on the watered down side, but was somewhat refreshing because I was dying of thirst. THE SERVICE ----------------------- - Employee who helped us with our order was friendly, but the cashier was a bit blah and not exactly the friendliest person, especially when we asked for extra utensils and napkins. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- + Even though this bakery is ranked highly on Tripadvisor, there was no crowd on the Monday morning that we swung by.
