There are cute pumpkins and gourds on the deck, and the interior is like someone's house, only filled with creative--and yes, rustic--decorations. They have salsas, jams, sauces, fudge. The whole place is filled with tempting unique pieces of home decor. The bathroom had nice smelling soaps and body creams. They also have some antique jewelry near the front. I immediately bought a candle upon smelling it (log cabin, which smelled like the pine trees on our hike), and then realized there was a whole upstairs section I missed. Each of the rooms upstairs had different themes. One was bridal, there was one with 99 cent small christmas ornaments, and one with clothes and shoes. I would come again if I ever happen to be on this road. It would be perfect for some browsing even if you don't end up buying anything, or to search for a gift. Even if I don't return, this place has introduced me to A Primitive Glow candles, which I'm happy enough about.

I've made it a habit to visit Gary's shop upon arrival to Lake George and asking him "what's biting and will you sell me what I need to target them?". Last year it resulted in me catching a beautiful (and delicious) landlocked salmon. This year I targeted small mouth bass and had a great time catching plenty of them.
