Once I found a sweatshirt I liked, I took it off the hanger to try on and a woman immediately ran next to me to make sure I wasn't stealing (she pretended to organize clothes next to me), it was extremely obvious she thought I was stealing that I felt uncomfortable and left. Really gross way to treat customers and I was well dressed, I cannot imagine how they would have acted had I dressed more casually. The store needs to modify how they treat customers.

She's great and her consignment shop is a gem! Check it out. You'll be glad you did, whether you're buying, selling or doing both. I often say that she pays me to shop and it makes me feel great that someone is enjoying something I can no longer use. The store has some of the usual suspects when it comes to boutique shopping but they have also gone above and beyond to find unique artists and merchandise with an Adirondack flair. I bought my frist Scout bag from them but don't recall seeing any on this trip. The back room seems to be where interior design magic happens. The upstairs has a room just for baby and kids.
