Replace an after market assembly that converts a roll up window to a power window. First, I receive a call explaining they have never seen an assembly that converts windows and therefore cannot repair it. As I was speaking to this person, he found one online and ordered only PART of the assembly. Next I receive a call informing me that they will have to find someone to install the unit since no one there knows how it is done, SERIOUSLY??? Now the finale! after about a week I am told my vehicle is ready, I go to pick it up and it clicks and jerks all the way to the top as well as when it is rolled down, It is ridiculous! Not a living soul would consider this vehicle repaired! I explained to the gentleman that i was not accepting the vehicle as it was and i wanted it repaired like it was before the wreck. He said he would let me know. Short version of the story.... the employee contacted the insurance agency who is covering the repairs and told them I was refusing to pick up my vehicle, that it was repaired, and that it was exactly like my passenger window. All of these statements are not true! I wish i could upload a video of the window as it currently is. It truly is ridiculous! My final conversation was that the insurance company would not cover to have the whole assembly replacement - because the Joe Hudson employee told them it was performing like the other window. Not true! Now I Have a window that makes this ridiculous clicking noise as it jerks its way to be closed! It is ridiculous! Never again will I do anything with Joe Hudson Collision.
