I've come twice now to assess their hyperbaric oxygen chamber for Long Covid illness. I was ready to move forward with their $7000 package deal for 20 sessions, but I found their environment to be too chaotic. Lots of cooks in the kitchen with different information. There's a lot of people working there, but it felt like they weren't working together, and therefore communication was disjointed, and knowledge of different treatments varied wildly. The only doctor that I sensed had credibility and understanding was Dr. Nealy. Dr Brown lacks bedside manner. Anyone with a chronic illness with high sensitivities won't be able to put up with this environment. They don't understand complex illness here. I don't feel that the staff is consistently trained in empathetic communication. But if you have a sports injury, I'm sure this is a good place to go to

The pod itself can fit 2 if you go with your better half. In our case I decided to schedule us for different rooms so my bf could relax and enjoy the experience. There's a shower in the room to shower before(optional) and after the Float therapy. Towels are provided. I do recommend you take sandals for use when getting out of the pod. Float therapy is 60 mins but you can walk out at any time if you don't want to stay the 60mins in there. You do have the option to close the pod or leave pod open. Being a wartime veteran, my body has many ailments that the treatments help with. On my birthday my wife gifted me a treatment to this location. From my first impression, I felt something was off. The person who looked to be some form of supervisor greeted me with an eye roll that said I am bothering him and to not waste his time. The person at the counter was new and fumbled nervously during the check in process. Nevertheless, I was hopeful for a long day to relaxation and treatment I always look forward to. First treatment was Cryotherapy. I usually do 3:30 and enjoy the process at Pause El Segundo. This time something felt off as the air was blowing more directly on top of me and I had to cover my face to breathe easily. The air was hitting directly onto my right shoulder. Well after I got out, I looked like the abominable snowman with frosted hair. My right shoulder was frozen. I lifted my arm and the deltoid / trapezius did not move as this area was frozen solid. I pointed it out to the new person that this is wrong and should NOT happen. Her response "oh, so that is not normal?" Quite upset, I walked out to the front lobby in my robe and went straight to the guy who was still full of condescending glares. I told him what happened and his only comment was, "so do you want to reschedule your treatments?" I told him that I don't think you understand, my shoulder is a block of ice and I am freezer burned from your system. He smiled, laughed a little and said, well that's not possible because it never happens. I agreed and told him it never happens at El Segundo but here the system needs to be calibrated and the air ducts redirected so it isn't directly hitting your patients. Again, he arrogantly laughed at me and said "I think I know what I'm doing and our systems are fine." I left and told my wife about what happened. She called this location and ended up speaking with this so called manager. He was also condescending and arrogant with my wife without a single care about my condition. His name is Ryan. It's hard to believe he is in any management position. I would never trust this location with any of my treatments or any other location where Ryan is a manager. 1 month later, my shoulder is still recovering from the frostbite damage. I gave 1 star because my wife forced Ryan to give her the owners phone number. After round and round with my wife, the owner did refund my wife. She also did call back the following day asking how I am doing. But that's it. I'm going to spare you the photos of my shoulder froze , red, then full of blisters and peeling skin.
