When a loved one is struggling, the people around them are often struggling just as much, and most facilities don't acknowledge that. Solstice does. The group sessions designed for family members were genuinely transformative for me. They didn't just offer reassurance or pamphlets -- they gave me real, practical tools for how to show up better for my family member during an incredibly difficult time. I came in feeling reactive and overwhelmed, and I left with what I can only describe as a blueprint: a way of understanding what was happening and how to navigate it with more clarity and less fear. If you have a loved one in treatment and you're wondering whether to engage with the family programming -- do it. It made a meaningful difference in how I was able to support someone I love. That kind of ripple effect says a lot about the philosophy behind this program

The skills and knowledge I've received here have helped me better cope with anxiety, depression, and learn how to improve my relationships. Rachel at the front, keeps the place together and encourages like no other. Matthew sets the bar as an incredible case manager and facilitator. When speaking with him I felt seen and understood during a challenging time. And I've seen how the groups he leads with transformative practices has made powerful waves in how my peers and I tackle our challenges. Lena is a wonderful CM who embraced me as I am and helped me see a whole new world of possibility, at my own pace, as well as offering deep insights when facilitating our groups. And Dr.Turner has been a wise wizard offering support with tailored medication, speaking to me as an individual, and offering timely guidance. There's a list of more wonderful people here, like Ashly and her sound meditations, and Sapna with her artful activities for making breakthroughs. Jamie also sets a safe space that helps groups open up and process. The environment is welcoming too, which makes the experience less daunting, as well as the intake process with Aljan. The insurance and paperwork process is handled efficiently too. The care and wisdom shared within this facility has greatly influenced my sense of safety and helped me better my life. There's the family we start with, and the family we make along the way, and I will be forever grateful for all the people I've met here. All that to say, I definitely recommend them. Wishing you courage on your journey.

I was trying to get an appointment to see if I have ADHD. Dr. Michelson was immediately condescending and put me in a room for 20 minutes. He had me perform one test alone followed by an about 30 question, questionnaire. I then went back to speak with him after taking the test just for him to explain my results and say "you don't have ADHD but you don't not have ADHD". He said I was somewhere in the middle, which was not a definitive answer. He then tried to immediately push some new medication on me and blamed a lot of my symptoms I've been experiencing for my entire life on a recent break up and death in my family. I truly felt like he viewed me as some college girl who just wanted meds. I just wanted a validating diagnoses as I have been struggling with many ADHD symptoms for as long as I can remember. As soon as I got out of there I broke down in my car crying because I was not listened to at all and he made me feel like I was stupid. I of course got a second opinion because his test was not thorough whatsoever. The second Psychiatry office I went to had a three step appointment process. One hour long general consultation, 3 hour in person testing, and then about 40 minutes minute results appointment about a week later, after it was fully analyzed. The three hour testing consisted of a similar test done by dr. Michelson, but also consisted of more tests with an administer in the room who gave puzzle, definition, pattern, and number tests. This was followed by a 300 question questionnaire. After this thorough testing, I was in fact diagnosed with ADHD. I didn't realize how unprofessional Dr. Michelson's practice was (the crying after the appointment should have been an immediate sign) until after I completed this testing at another office. I also learned that ADHD is extremely unreported in women and Dr. Michaelson continues to contribute to the problem. As a woman, I've been not listened to by countless doctors, and Dr. Michelson is now one to add to the list. If you're wondering if you should go to Dr. Michelson, I'd advise you to find someone more professional.

I often feel like he's solving a puzzle alongside me instead of just treating symptoms, and that level of dedication means a lot. His experience and wisdom are obvious, but so is his compassion. I truly feel that he cares about my long-term health and overall quality of life. I leave appointments feeling more hopeful, understood, and supported. I'm incredibly thankful to be under his care.

I feel he understands the brain and how it relates to other organs, existing health conditions, diet, etc. He's NOT your typical : " Based on your symptoms you have this chemical imbalance in your brain, so I will prescribe the appropriate RX" type of doctor, he really looks at the bigger picture. Dr. Jensen is a Doctor who is constantly learning. He understands two people with the same symptoms could have two different issues causing their symptoms and as a result may respond differently to the same treatment. Dr. Jensen helped me manage my medications and eventually I got off of all my Medications entirely in 2007 by identifying the root cause of my problems which were a combination of chronic Viral infections and heavy metal toxicity, but most importantly he is the only doctor I had seen in over 25 years of care that discovered the true cause of what probably started all this so many years ago, A condition I was born with, a genetic blood disorder that every other doctor my entire life never even tested for, this condition would have killed me by now if he had not diagnosed it. Dr. Jensen let me tapper my meds at my own pace, and if something didn't work, he believed me , never belittled me or made me feel like I was sick or something was wrong with me, more like he wanted to know why I was feeling the way I was, and really wanted to solve the problem. He is also very humble, and has an amazing bed side manner, Together as a team we would try something new until I got my symptoms under control, and eventually I got off all meds and stayed that way for a decade feeling better than I had my entire life. Starting in late 2019 I started to become ill again, I went right back to him. As of today I am still currently in his care for some issues I am having and he is working with me to manage my symptoms and has given me advice on tests I can have run by my Primary care doctor to track down possible underlying problems with other organs, and/or chronic infections. Since being back in his care I have become stable, and I am once again able to slowly reduce my medications, and manage my symptoms comfortably. Dr. Jensen will work with you, he won't work against you, and he will believe you if a treatment he prescribes doesn't work and help find a treatment that dose. If I could give this man a 6 star review I would. I have seen some reviews where people say he is expensive, but he doesn't charge anymore than any other Psychiatrist does. The difference is you have to submit to your insurance for reimbursement, as his office does not offer that service. In my opinion ( and I am not a wealthy person ) the money spent with him , for true answers, help , care and compassion far outweighs any other treatment or care I have got from other doctors in over 30 years. His office assistant is also incredibly friendly and helpful, his office is always immaculate and well maintained. If you are looking for answers see Dr. Jensen.

I get this place one star because of the staff and the other provider, Dr. Gregorian. He is terrible the worst actually. He is very cold and has absolutely no personality or feelings going on. I've seen other comments about him and I agree completely. A very robotic cold exchange and he tries to withhold anything possible that you may need or what you know you need cause you've been on it and plays this really weird hardball with you. I would not go there for him that's for sure. And then the front desk staff is the worst. That's the only reason I am no longer going there because if the ladies that answer the phone. They would prefer to gossip amongst each other and laugh and party with themselves then just do the bare minimum of their job. So if I would give five stars to anyone here it is Doctor SHAULOV. Him I do recommend but having to jump through the hoops of the secretary, staff or being push onto PA Gregorian is a big possibility going here. So if you do go, make sure to be explicit that you would like to see Dr. SHAULOV and no one else even if there's a weight that has longer to see him. That's my advice!
