My son is no athlete, but he got to play every sport including Varsity soccer, basketball, and golf. They begged him to play on the tennis team. The coaches are top tier and every kid can play building those important team building skills. My son has also been able to travel with the school to England, Italy, France, Germany, and Switzerland to meet students from around the world. He has also built great connections in Asia, India, and Norway. Im up in age and know the who you know and good connections will beat smarts every day of the week. Many of the kids come from successful business owners and when he goes to their houses he can see what hard work and a little risk can result in My son and his friends dont just talk about future jobs but what businesses they are going to build. Can you imagine what Millwood kids can put on their college applications compared to if I let him go to a regular school. I have never written a review, but possible parents have to know about Millwood. I'll probably get all my money back in way of extra scholarships. It has been worth every penny and any sacrifice. Give Millwood a try.

The academic rigor is challenging, but the teachers go above and beyond to ensure that each student is given ample opportunities to learn the material. This is a…read morehorribly managed and understaffed facility where your child's health and welfare are at risk. I made the mistake of enrolling my daughter at Skipwith commencing 8/29/22. My wife and I decided to withdraw our daughter from Skipwith on 9/22/22. In the span of less than one month, we received three different emails from the Skipwith administrators requesting we keep our child home due to "significant staffing issues" at the school. In addition, we encountered at least four different teachers who cycled through my daughter's PREP class. Worst of all, my daughter suffered a serious ankle injury while in attendance (images attached). When my daughter suffered her ankle injury, no one from Skipwith notified us. Instead, we discovered the injury upon picking her up from school. We promptly notified the head administrator at Skipwith of the incident and provided immediate notice of my daughter's withdrawal. In response, the head administrator denied "seeing anything happen." If that wasn't bad enough, after withdrawing our daughter, the head administrator continued to hound us for an alleged unpaid tuition bill (despite my repeated requests for clarification on how the bill was calculated). Skipwith's head administrator then opted to turn the bill over to collections rather than engaging with me, the paying parent, directly. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a learning center. I would strongly encourage any parents thinking of enrolling their child at Skipwith to consider other options in the area (Primrose, Goddard, Cedarhouse, just to name a few).

Then some teachers are just there for a job not because they want to be around kids. I picked up my son nasty, with poop in diaper, and missing a shoe numerous time. The last time I picked him up before we left, he had poop dried up his back, 1 shoe, and when I asked for his spare clothes they handed me the lost and found bucket to pick from and not his clothes I had previously brought in. Not to mention one day I got there to pick up my son and the DIRECTOR walked another kid out of a class at front door and said here you go have a great day, just for me to inform her that wasn't my kid. I withdrew him after 3 months. And only waited that long to get my schedule switched to wait for new daycare.
