Poor service. They provided us with oil-base paint without saying it was oil so it needed mineral spirits to clean up - but didn't sell us any. So ruined a really good brush as it had to be tossed out. Provided wrong kind of rollers - on sale but so what? Had to go buy the correct kind. Paint was supposed to cover 400 sq ft, but only did less than 200. And at that had to be applied several times to get it to actually cover. Paint has dried on the sunny side of the house; a week later the shaded side is still sticky. It was kind of like painting with KoolAid. Weird stuff, and expensive. Only sometimes do you get what you pay for. We went back to ask what was up with the paint, and the staff said it was too bad for us. No offer to inspect it or look at the job site. Just too bad. I live in the far south side of town. I drove past a number of paint stores before I get close to Cloverdale. I've always had great service here. All the staff are friendly, they know a lot about what they do. They've suggested things that have worked great. The store is clean and neat. I'll continue to drive past the countless paint stores just to get here. Always a good experience! read more

My name is Lori Heggie and I went to Cloverdale Paints after spending 5 days painting and coming out with pinkish purplish walls. I was just sick about it and the cost I had spent. So I went to Cloverdale to search for a colour that I had in my mind and Was helped enormously!!! A lady named Casey. She Went over and beyond and spent time with me and went through tons of paint samples with me and I could tell she really knew her stuff !! She did exceptionally well. She also explained how they could colour match. I was very impressed!!! So late this afternoon I decided to go back to Cloverdale with a colour to match only to find out that they had already done that colour match. Great !!! Casey was not there but a man named Darker was, he was also very amazing. He pulled out other samples just in case. He helped me tons too. What's more is he replaced the 2 gallons for free . Plus a new roller and a new brush although I had not gotten my screwup paint there. I am very thankful to have found Cloverdale Paints. I will definitely buy all my paint from them from now on. It's great to know that there are people out there that really know the paint colours and can understand what I was trying to explain. They will always !! Have my business. ALWAYS!!!
