We haven't been here in many years because the customer service was bad but not anymore! Laura greeted us as soon as we walked in and 10min later we were best friends. Now I didn't hurt that she was from Texas and so are we which gave us a lot to talk about but we really enjoyed spending some time learning about her and her husband the new ownership and just their plans for growing this winery. I would say that they definitely have a passion for serving others and have already engaged in the community raising money for different charities their biggest one recently was one for a cancer charity. I'm not much of a wine drinker my wife is but after tasting the Chardonnay which was fantastic we decided to share a bottle and they also have a bourbon barrel aged Cabernet which is amazing. We promptly came home joined the wine club and will definitely be back because it's only about a 30 minute drive from Greensboro. They have music and food trucks on average about twice a month and I can promise you that when you go you'll get good wine and be treated well.

The interior, open floor plan is contemporary/rustic with plenty of space for a large party, but cozy enough for a smaller event. Our event was in the middle of the hot Danville summer, but the venue's air conditioning kept us nice and cool. If your type is big, strong and handsome [BUILDINGS!], Full Frame Theater's Boiler Room has YOUR name all over it (him? her?). This incredible space welcomes guests entering Full Frame Theater, as well as sometimes its neighbor, The Power Plant Gallery. It's a VERY unique event venue flanked by mammoth coal-fired boilers that were used in the original building. You can admire the elevator shaft to the right of the front door, or envision the unseen inside (but very visible outside) base of the Lucky Strike smokestack which The Boiler Room "horeshoes" around. Enormous windows, concrete floors and brick walls give this space the perfect impression for any event [can I plan my next birthday party here?!] No space has ever scream contemporary meets historic so clearly! Plus, doors are open 9am-midnight, SEVEN days a week, so there truly is no reason to miss this drool-worthy space. It has a modern industrial feel. The walls were distressed brick. There is a covered patio out the back doors that led to a cocktail area. To the side there is a grassy area as well. The bathrooms are immediately to your right as you come in. There are ample parking lots in the back. I found this to be a beautiful venue. The views from the arena are a stunning backdrop for any bride and groom wanting have an outdoor ceremony. Inside the barn there are three defined spaces. The foyer with its high ceilings and comfy furniture welcoming you inside. This is also where the restrooms are located. They have two newly constructed restrooms with multiple stalls in addition to the two original ones. The venue provides tables and chairs and table coverings for your event. There's a built in rustic bar in the corner of the main event space where clients can have a hired bartender serving drinks of their choice. The facilities are set up for a catering company to bring in the food of the clients choice or your band/DJ to unload easily with large rolling door access on either end of the barn. I visited in February so the trees were bare but I can only imagine how gorgeous the space looks in the spring, summer and fall. We were told they host smaller meetings there being able to block off spaces for a more intimate feel or can seat up to 1500 utilizing the whole space.

The ceremony view of the amazing Virginia countryside with pond, hills and the changing fall trees was an amazing backdrop. With two sides enclosed, a fireplace and heaters the late night venue was cozy but yet open air (which can be important when pandemics threaten events). Melba made the event so easy for planning. Erica, the bartender, kept all our guests happy. The site has plenty of ice for all bartending needs, a kitchen for food setup and three eclectic bathrooms.
