Security along with heavy Police presence makes me feel at ease when gambling. Plenty of table games but No electronic craps or black jack. They have a separate section for those who desire to smoke and play. The rooms are nice. I attached a photo from my bed as I forgot to take a picture before laying down. The people who run this bingo hall are, in general, very nice, especially the those who are more…read moremature in years. They are very sweet. It is well organized and seems to be run very fairly. It's only $20.00 and they really make sure you get your money's worth of play time. It starts at 6:30 pm, it can be a little confusing your first time so it's best to get there about 1/2 hour early (I think they open the doors as early as 4:30). Both times I have played the last game ended a bit before 10:00pm. In the games, they make sure to post the numbers being called, as well as call them out, and they check each bingo to verify it's a winning card. There are snacks available for purchase and complementary coffee, which is pretty tasty! As with most functions of this sort, it is a very diverse group of people who attend. If you plan on going, you would be best served to sit more towards the middle of the room. We made the unfortunate mistake of sitting towards the back and the people behind us were extremely rude and terribly unwelcoming. The people towards the middle seemed to be having fun and enjoying each other's company, but the back row was a totally different story. One particular man spent the whole evening complaining to everyone about how the people around him (including us, I suppose...though we, after the first angry shush from him, whispered the rest of the night) were too loud, but he, himself, was talking louder than anyone. He even got one of the younger gals to announce to the whole room that people need to be quiet. When she was done announcing she said, "that's for you...so and so (whatever his name was)" I can only imagine it is because he is probably there every night they are open and spends quite a bit playing, so they feel the need to cater to people like that. The sweet gal next to us said not to worry, that some of the people in the back are consistently really rude and treat the game like their career. All of that to say, it's a fun, well attended event, just be very mindful of where you sit. There are plenty of kind people there, and if you sit surrounded by them, you will have a fun night!

First time coming here. It was to work a comedy show for a third party venue YONDR. I parked in the…read moreback lot on the side of the hotel. I went through the side entrance to the casino floor amd found the event station set up outside. The casino floor is massive, with many games. Slots, table games and a high roller area. The floor was very clean. I didn't see any cups, water bottles or trash left around. Staff was consistently cleaning. Bathrooms were kept up I used two separate ones. One was closed for cleaning so I got to try the one down by the restaurant and hotel area. Never have I seen a toilet that self replaces the seat cover for you. I love this feature! I guess I need to start traveling more. There are different spots to order food. I saw pizza, sit down and sushi, there is a bar if that is what you want. Little shops here and there for shopping. Security were on point all night. There were two specific people i really remember. One was standing at the beginning of the line for people to be checked in for the comedy show. This individual was making sure nobody brought food , drinks or alcohol from the casino with them outside to the comedy venue. This person helped keep the line moving. The other individual I met when\nI started my shift. My job was to check patrons in for the comedy show. I gave them a designated seating tab that showed them where their seat was. As I was doing this , I let the guests know that that they won't let them take their food alcohol beverages outside or from outside in I was just trying to help get the line to go smoother , because as soon as they opened the doors , the patrons got to go in. At the end of the event, I helped unlock the bags so the patrons can get their phones, smartwatches or earbuds, earpods out and return the pouches/bags to the yondr collection bags. I thought it was a very well managed event with the mixture of the third party i was working for, and all of the staff that works for Tachi palace. The staff that I saw working the event , which included security, people in purple shirts that I think were like ushers, cleaning crew. There were managers or management type people they were wearing suits. I did not get to try any food there.Although I really wanted to it smelled very good when I passed by the different places. I looked at the Pizza.It looked well made, i probably would spend money on that. The hotel looks like , it can hold a lot of people. Thursday swimming pool area with a kid area. So families can come here, all ages and enjoy the food, the entertainment, the relaxation, just to get away. I definitely want to come back so I could eat at the different places. She told me either take it back to my car or throw it away. I'm 67 years old and the pocketknife was my dad's so I took it back and and came back to the door and the woman meets me and my wife outside the door with 5 or 6 other people around and yells at us that we didn't put the knife away, embarrassed I told her we did and she yells that we didn't and that they watched us on camera. When I tried talking to her she started barking on the radio and yelling at us. So we went back to our car and drove back to Clovis. As we left she was yelling we better put that knife away.

They have specials during weekdays and special lunch/dinners most weekends. The Lodge has Bingo open to the public twice monthly. It also have a happy hours for drinks. The bar and the dining area upstairs has a complete make over with new hardwood floors and new bar appliances. A new "stain glass" type window is over the bar showing the Elks Emblem. They were in the process of remodeling the upstairs bathrooms last I heard. The air conditioning system has also been upgraded. If you haven't been there in a while it's worth visiting.

Retro tables and chair, Smelly bathrooms warm beer and gold flakes in the mirror behind the bar. The ceiling in the bar area had to be the worst! You could literally see all the ventilation system; no ceiling tiles. It was so muggy inside this place since there was no vents to circulate the air. Literally I had to stand beneath the air duct to cool off. One of the bar tenders didn't smile for 3 hours, really? We were all already sad then to have a "Debby downer" server, ugh she majorly sucked!!! I stiffed her on my tab. Sadly enough the Elks lodge needs major renovation and hopefully won't be back for a very long time.
