CLSC Hallandale - Getting to CLSC - Family Practice Near Me - Hallandale, Florida

Doctor sent me for the X-ray to Akumin but office did not sent "Athorization"( whatever is is). So I drove back to office ( they would not answer the phone from Akumin office). They pretended they did not know what was " Athorization" and what was it needed for. Spent some time explaining about this Athorization to the clerk, whose work was to send it in the first place. Got it at last as a special favor. Another thing is refills. Have to spend hours asking office clerk to contact pharmacy for refill. Pharmacy says they cant contact the doctor to Authorize the refill. The clerk saying she transfers the message to the doctor. Pharmacy says they don't get the message. Goes for a month for my high blood pressure medication. Was left without it with hypertonic crisis. Now trying to get refill for diabetic medication. No luck still. Awful service! read more

Dr. Maldonado is a great doctor. The company she works for, CLSC, has one of the worst customer services I have experienced in a very long time. I nominally do not like to write negative reviews since I prefer to handle negative complaints direct with a person at the establishment. This office is unorganized. Front desk is always on their phones ignoring patients. This old lady with gray hair was going to take my blood and when I told her to put gloves on she got mad. No stars..... This office isn't my regular office which is off Lyons. That office isn't much better either. But my most recent experience has prompted me to write a review. What a waste of time. The layout of the practice is ridiculous. There taking your vitals while on the left you have urine samples waiting to be processed and a tech hoover over you retrieving samples and injecting in specimen tubes. Unsanitary and disorganized. Most of the staff doesn't seem to know what they are doing. I had an appt and waited over an hour. Dr kept calling the wrong pts and skipped over me twice before I notified the office manager. This practice is a joke. They just do it for the money. Making you come multiple time just to charge my insurance and me a copay. This is ridiculous and will never ever visit this practice again. I used to go to this medical office when it was managed by another company. I would not recommend this office. Especially, Dr. Marta Khris, She is very inexperienced and has an awful bedside manner as well as she tries to fit too many clients in a short period of time and does listen to you as a person. She prescribed the wrong medicine to me and then had me come in so she could charge me for a whole visit to pick the prescription ($115) . She is very disorganized and careless. read more

Totally a money hungry practice. They bill your insurance AND then they try to bill you for services you're not responsible for. Most of their practice is full of foreign "doctors" who google or misdiagnose your conditions. Prescribed me medications I did not need and which had horrible side effects. HORRIBLE!!! This entire practice is just a huge money hungry practice! Let me start by saying they fully intended on being open when all the warning we're going on about hurricane Irma, on Wednesday closing time they still had patients and staff scheduled to go in - so not only do they not care about the safety of their staff they clearly don't care about their patients either. As for me, I went in solely for the purpose of getting a prescription however the nurse practitioner who saw me said she needed to wait for the results and would call me with the prescription. Well we are now on week three post visit and they refuse to give me the prescription b/c they want me to go in for a follow-up but I don't need a follow up. They just want to charge my Insurance again. I would not recommend this place, they are rude, inattentive and money hungry. read more

I am sadly now posting a horrible review of a doctor's office I had trusted for many years since I was 15 years old and now I am 34. I had the worst experience ever today and refuse to ever go to this clinic EVER again! This office has gone downhill terribly throughout the years! I was told I needed to come in here and pay a whole co-pay and see a doctor just because I fractured my toe and needed a referral. I was in excruciating pain and not one person on that staff accommodated me or showed me concern. I was made to wait over an hour to see some practitioner who realized I was late to my appointment for the specialist just a few doors down so she quickly gave me a run through on purpose, I guess so that they can charge me. The worst was getting the actual referral itself! This lazy and rude woman named Celiyne was the worst! Instead of handing me the referral in my hand, she asked me when my appointment was and when I told her she said I can go and she faxed it to the office. When I got to the specialist office they advised me they did not receive any fax and they will contact the clinic. They then informed me that it was finally faxed over, but no authorization and that they cannot see me without it. I was then advised that Celiyne told them it was someone else's job and that that person will be back in an hour. I was already late to my appointment and now my job! I had to hop back there on one foot and barefoot with my injured toe stubbing the ground only to be smirked at by the unprofessional kid at the desk and told off by Ms. Celyine who advised me she could care less when I expressed my grievance. The only caring and decent person left in that place is Doctor Leo Gras, which for some reason they refuse to let me see each time I go even though it is on my records he has always taken care of me. If you ask me, he needs to leave that place and go somewhere better! Rude staff and inexperienced practitioners? Dr k is awesome. The rest of the staff....not so much. They interrogate you while taking BP which makes it spike. They ask questions about things that are non health related like gun ownership. one time they called and said I needed to come in right away about blood work results. After a panicked drive over there, I found out that they called because they had no patients scheduled for the afternoon. They were clueless as to why I was mad. Can't go there if you have a job. Very unorganized. I have been with them for a few years. Dr. Kahgobodi is very good but tough to see. She is only there two days a week and my last two appointments with her she didn't show. This results in even longer wait times and doctors who you don't know. One lady on the phone says just come in anytime before 8 you only have to give blood and then when you get there, you have to see a doctor but she isn't here have a seat. I've had enough. Due to my insurance I don't have many choices when it comes to family doctors.i had to come to this clinic despite all the terrible reviews. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC!!! Waiting time is terrible, all the medical assistants and receptionist seem to do nothing but walk around and have tons of fun... while you're waiting and waiting. It seems like happy hour minus the drinks. But that's the least worse part. After an hour and a half waiting I go see this doctor , Destine jonas. I Thought THAT with A Waiting Time So long, THE doctor WILL Be Actually good... NOT EVEn close. Terrible. He speaks half English half Spanish. Does not listen to the patient more than three 3 seconds . I told him I could not take a medicine due to side effecr, he still prescribed it. He is not a specialist so he shouldn't be prescribing hormones ... especially when patients are trying to tell you they cannot take it. Then when it came to referrals, another headache. I called CLSC Hallandale Jan.18, 2018 around 12:30 pm to ask for a refill of my hypertension medication. The woman on the phone is RUDE. She immediately insisted that I had missed a couple of appointments with my doctor and insisted to him first. I already ran out of my medication and this lady is thinking that she the doctor. Let me start by saying Dr. K. is awesome, she gets 5 stars all the way! I have BEGGED her several times to start her own practice. The staff, however, is the pits! The wait times are horrendous! (I blame the staff not the Dr.s) This office went to hell when Rose left. Dr. Bouque (the big boss) is a businessman first then a Dr. last! He requires his patients to make an appointment every time a refill is needed. Pure GREED!!! If you can put up with all of the BS, then give it a try. In Februry 2010 I decided to change primary care physician/clinic. I called several of them. When reaching CLSC, CELYNE answered the phone. She was so knowledgeable, so patient, so courteous on the phione that an hour later I was signing to CLSC.. To date, I have no regret whatsoever to have become part of the CLSC family. I have many health issues and CLSC have always sent me to responsible specialists and surgeons with no questioning about getting the necessary referrals from Humana, my health provider. I have been taken care of by several of CLSC physicans since 2010 (Dr Bourque, Dr Gras, Dr Kaighobadi, Dr Jonias Destine). ALL are excellent, with a good diagnostic, very good attitude with their patients. Dr Jonias Destine is now my regular doctor. DR. DESTINE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND NICE.. Vanessa is good at handling referrals, Cathy and the 2 Jennifer are among their best nurses. Being 80 years old with numerous health issues I have visited many medical offices. My experience with CLSC/ Dr Bourque's office has been most satisfactory . I found comfort and compassion from his most courteous staff . Its physicans are very competent and sensitive.
