Polished staircases, fountains, atriums, indoor plants, Pokies, bistros, Pokies, Yum cha aaaand more Pokies. Cash is king! Incase you aren't a fan of pokies there are also a lot of different bars. There's Bingo and there are lounge areas with sports channels on so you can drop Frank off at the TAB while you brunch with the golden girls. The staff are immaculately dressed, polite and helpful. You need to be a member if you live in the area, or at least be signed in by one. Benefits include cheaper drinks, and I'm sure you gain points if you swipe in. The Club also has function rooms for hire, if you are planning a Wedding, Party, anything. Yum cha, is cheap and you pre- order it on a card Dress is smart casual, so don't wear your hi-vis vest. Actually open until about 3am on the weekends and offer a shuttle bus service for $4 pick up and drop off if you live nearby. Wuuut? With the 10pm bottle O close outs and the CBD lock ins that have just come in why not take advantage of a closer to home, more convenient venue? Good for groups, or parents of young kids, and it's a Nanna approved venue.

After this we were forced into the bistro to eat after our 1.5 hour drive only for the food to be served 40mins after we ordered and for the orders to be wrong. The food at best was passable and the service definetly not with a smile. To top it off my friend who is slightly autistic (a factor in his baby-face-ness) was not at all accommodated in his needs and judged with discriminatory fashion. I would not recommend the revesby workers club. I was so disapointed at this venue I went to the effort of creating an account on here to voice my anger.

The staff are knowledgeable and laid-back creating a chilled out atmosphere. The idea here is to load some cash money onto a debit card which they give to you to keep; I loaded mine up with $50 for 3 people on a lazy Saturday afternoon. There is a huge selection of wines from Chardonnay to Shiraz and many regions are on display. Grab a glass and choose your preferred wine, enter your pre-paid debit card and select whether you are after a taste, 1/2 or a full glass (prices ranging from $1.75 - $12.00 depending on size). There are also meat, cheese and snack platters on offer and we went for the big dog - $60 for meats, cheeses, unlimited bread, olives, pate, pickles and dips. The food was good though a little overpriced. We didn't end up spending all of the money on our debit card so it now acts like a gift card and can be used upon return to either sample more wines or even buy a bottle (or 2)! Great spot for a drink before a movie or an afternoon with the girls.

Well the old days are over my friends and Panaz Pub on a Saturday night is flat and boring with subpar food. There was a guy strumming a guitar and singing the classics but no one was paying attention to him. My veal schnitzel tasted like a boot and the atmosphere was bleak. Unless you live right around the corner and it's your local haunt, I wouldn't bother.

Have traveled far and wide over the years, cooking and learning, where ever the plane landed. Then stumbled across this cute, and quaint lil pub almost 2 years ago with my late mother, came in for lunch, food was HUGE, and needed abit of refining, so decided "hey.... i should work here!" then slowly but surely became the "boss bitch" of the bistro. We have had a hard struggle of trying to turn this place into somewhere comfortable for families, and the young at heart, to just hang out, enjoy good food, and sexy cocktails, with an awesome ambiance and "aesthetic" surrounding bought in by my fabulous "gayness", and my handbag, also known as our Acting General Manager, Vicki Stoneman. Between the pair of us, pushing you know what up a hill, and surrounded by red tape from the "big wigs", we believe we actually may have pulled it off, and created the funky, and pretty, place we know today as Panania Hotel. I was looking forward to some form of habanero or jalapeño margarita, but didn't see any. For a Mexican themed bar, I didn't see any spicy cocktails at all. So I stuck with beer in protest. The menu has potential, but I thought the food could use some fine tuning. The corn ($8) was simply burnt to get that charred Mexican-corn vibe, when it could have been caramalised first and then pushed from there. The chipotle spread on the side was fantastic. The pulled pork tacos (2 for $12) got most of their flavour from the Byron Bay hot sauces I was using, and not enough from the pork. The sauce for the chorizo & potato ($25) needed a bit more time to simmer and reduce, and again, relied way too much on the hot sauce we added for flavour. The jalapeños mentioned on the menu were undetectable. The chorizo itself was a bit bland, like the kind you'd buy at a grocery store instead of the kind you'd buy at a Spanish deli. If Frank and Blanco was in the city, I wouldn't go back. Since its now one the very few licensed restaurants on the main strip in Sutherland, and I walk by it every day after work, there's a pretty good chance I'll drop in once in awhile.
