I first came across Oak Method when I was looking to try Lagree, and being the first Lagree studio in Morgan Hill immediately caught my attention. I actually took my first class just a few months after having surgery, so while I was excited to try something new, I was also a little unsure of what to expect and how my body would feel. From that very first class, though, I felt comfortable going at my own pace, modifying when I needed to, and still getting such a good workout. Shout out to Maddie! One of the things I immediately loved about Oak Method was how small and intimate the classes feel. You don't feel lost in a room full of people and the instructors are actually able to pay attention to you, help with form, offer modifications, and challenge you when you're ready for it! I've now taken classes with several of the instructors, and they all bring their own personality and style, which I love. No 2 classes feel exactly the same, but what IS consistent is how they make the workout accessible for different levels while still somehow keeping it challenging every single time lol. Whether you're brand new to Lagree or have been doing it for a while, there's always a way to meet yourself where you're at AND a way to level it up. But honestly, what makes Oak Method special to me is everything surrounding the workout too. Noelle and the entire team have created such a welcoming, encouraging, community-driven atmosphere. It doesn't feel intimidating or exclusive, and you can tell there's genuine intention behind what they're building beyond just getting people in and out of a 40-45 min class. Having the first Lagree studio in Morgan Hill feels like such a great addition to the community, and it's been really cool watching the community around Oak Method grow too. I originally walked in just wanting to try a new workout and ended up finding a studio I genuinely look forward to coming back to. If you've been curious about Lagree but feel intimidated or aren't sure if it's "for you," I really think Oak Method is such a good place to start. The studio has a wonderful feeling to it and the instructors are all amazing. They are great at explaining form and offering corrections during a workout. I also really like the sense of community you get from attending classes here. You are greeted by name and everyone is extremely friendly. I've attended classes for the last 4 months and the workouts have helped strengthen and tone my body. It's also great for anyone that needs a low impact workout. I highly recommend this studio to anyone!

The types of classes they offer are: Bikram Method Yoga, Inferno Hot Pilates, Vinyasa PowerFlow, Non-heated Yin Yoga and Meditation Classes (Morgan hill studio only). They have 24 classes a week (Gilroy studio) to choose from and 60 classes between both Gilroy and Morgan hill studios. They also have an amazing intro deal for new students, 20$ for 20 days of classes (this includes both studios)! This is by far the cleanest facility I have ever been to. I absolutely love the space, the classes, the instructors and my fellow students. This place is like a second home to me and the instructors and students are like family to me. If you haven't been yet, check it out! You will not regret it! Additionally anyone looking for a great way to lose weight, I lost 40 pounds in six months after regularly practicing Bikram classes 5 days a week. I have NEVER felt better both physically and mentally since starting my practice.

I hate to sound like Goldilocks but some were too aggressive, some were way too easy or focused only on stretching, some were just not appealing. Then I tried Orangetheory! It has everything I need: a nice combination of core strength, cardio and muscle building, great music, coaches who are supportive but not overly pushy, fun people to work out with and motivational programs that get me coming back throughout the week. I don't feel like I'm competing with the person next to me. Their methodology and data tracking about every workout keeps me focused on the progress I'm making for myself! Whether you want a hardcore workout or you are just starting and need to pace yourself, Orangetheory could be a great place to go. Lots of studios all over the states so you never have to miss a workout...And the Morgan Hill location is awesome!

I was hoping for the latter given their name. That being said it's a very clean studio. It's the only hot yoga studio I've been to that doesn't stink and isn't damp everywhere. I can't rate this studio higher because I signed up for a class that clearly stated "unheated" yet the temp was set to 87 degrees. This is really dangerous and misleading as there are legitimate medical reasons why someone would avoid a heated class (e.g. pregnancy). Assuming the class would be at a normal room temp, I did not pack water and their water dispenser didn't have cups. Again, just unsafe and lacks due diligence.

This gym is small but packed with equipment, which is definitely a plus. The problem is that for a…read moremajor chain gym located in a city as wealthy as Morgan Hill, this place feels extremely outdated and overdue for some serious upgrades. It's 2026 and members are still trying to awkwardly tilt water bottles under an old drinking fountain because there's no proper bottle filling station. Most of the treadmills are outdated, several screens just display static, and the stair climber that's been out of service looks like it's been sitting broken for close to a year. The bathrooms also badly need a facelift. To be fair, the gym does seem clean overall, and this review is absolutely not directed at the staff. They do a great job keeping the place as clean and organized as they can. This is more of a negative reflection on the company itself and the lack of investment into the facility. What's especially disappointing is that I've been to the Anytime Fitness in Oakhurst -- literally in the middle of nowhere -- and it's far more modern and up to date than this location. For a Bay Area gym, this place just doesn't come close to the standard you'd expect.

Since I started training with him, I've lost 5 lbs and feel like I'm making real progress. Mathieu is flexible with scheduling, easy to work with, and knows how to push me without making workouts feel miserable. He definitely gets more out of me than I would on my own and keeps challenging me to work toward my full potential. I've also been really impressed with the improvements to the gym. The Vault is a great addition and gives us a lot more options for training and different exercises. Overall, really happy with the gym and especially with Mathieu. Today is Sunday, and the posted opening time is 8:00 a.m. I arrived at 8:35 a.m., and the doors were still locked with no staff present. This is very frustrating for members who expect the gym to open on time. Additionally, one of the younger employees at the front desk frequently smells strongly of marijuana, and the odor lingers throughout the gym. This creates an unprofessional atmosphere. Another ongoing concern is that several treadmills and leg machines have been out of service for over a month without being repaired. Paying members should have access to properly maintained equipment. Overall, the cleanliness and friendly staff are appreciated, but the unreliable opening times, lack of equipment maintenance, and unprofessional conduct make for a disappointing experience. I hope management addresses these issues, as they may be contributing to why the gym is often so empty.
