Hello Everyone, I have been attending Club Pilates for an inconsistent time of 6 months. I would rate my overall experience 2 or 3 of 5 stars based on my experience with the policies and classes. Reason being is because I was in a REALLY bad car accident during the months of attending, and I communicated with management that I wouldn't be able to attend for about a month or so. As I was in the 3 month contract commitment, management did assure me that the classes would be just rolled over to the next following months as long as I keep communicating with them. (Which I did) Eventually when I would talk to the front desk to communicate with them, they would tell me "well there is only so many times we can ask to roll them over", which I was in shock because management told me otherwise. This did result me into losing 4 credits because I had asked someone at the front desk to roll over my classes and she said she left a "note" for management. Which she didn't and I had to ask 2 more times with other women at the front desk. Thankfully I was able to get my 4 credit classes back and everything was settled. However, when I decided to put in my 30 day cancelation form with the man at the front desk, I still had to pay one more month which was fine. But then I was still charged for the following month, which was passed my end date. As I no longer wanted to attend after my pre paid reimbursed classes, they refunded me the wrongly charged month but cancelled my pre paid classes. Thankfully Lisa, was able to get me back into my classes from before, and I am very grateful. Now to the instructors. I am a 5 year 6 months certified swim instructor, and I know the importance of an instructor. My experience may not be the same as everyone else's which is fine but here we go. BEST TWO: Suzy: Teaching style: firm, tough but it's an overall GREAT work out, uses almost every equipment. Every time I come in, I want the class to be over because of how much of a work out she puts us through. Her personality is a bit more firm, so it's something to get use to. Overall she's a 10/10 Allie: Teaching style: gentle and patient but still tough and with nice burn of of a work out. Uses a few half of the equipment but I loved loved her personality. I truly felt welcomed with her. It's such a shame she only works Sundays. She is also a 10/10 Different Instr: Elizabeth, teaching style moderate to gentle/ firm. Uses a few of the equipment. I liked her until I over heard her telling someone else, on September 16th, "Some people are clearly not here to progress, so you would have to let us know if you want us to watch you to get to the next class." This comment was loud enough for many of the women to hear and we all looked at each other, clearly thinking to ourselves "that comment was rude and unnecessary." I never booked with her again. Work out 7/10 - personality 6/10 As you can see everything was so much of a hassle which is why I am glad to leave. read more

For beginner skills or for people with injuries, Club Pilates offers a lot of different levels of classes that will give you a great foundation to build on. I had taken Pilates classes (both mat and reformer) before I started at CP and would say that while you'll get to practice some foundational Pilates moves, a lot of the instructors teach what I can only describe as boot camp style classes. This will vary from teacher to teacher but I have done just as many mountain climbers at CP as I have at orange theory. I should also mention that I am referring specially to the Flow 1 and 2 classes where the workouts can be more on the boot camp side than I'd expect from a Pilates studio (eg. tabata intervals, heavy use of TRX, bosu). I don't find this style suits my personal preference for a Pilates flow class as I go to other gyms for that type of workout. CP also offers TRX and Barre classes where I feel you should expect higher intensity / pace. In terms of class size / booking availability, the studio itself is on the smaller side which can mean it's harder to get into popular classes but this only tends to be a problem for a few instructors. This is also typical for most Pilates studios that offer reformer classes. Overall, this is a fine place to try if you are looking for something new! Take all reviews with a grain of salt, and keep an open mind! Maybe this is the right type of pilates for you! read more

ive been doing pilates at club pilates for 3 years. i love it. it changed my life. when i started pilates, i was at 0 on my fitness journey. i hadnt done any exercise in years. pilates offered me a safe space to begin my journey. its mostly an all womens space. i could see right away that pilates was for every body. women of all ages, people recovering from injuries, and people like myself that are struggling with obesity. Pilates focuses on well rounded exercises to improve balance, flexibility, mobility, as well as strength and stamina. it genuinely was the best way for me to start exercising and it was the first workout that i was able to stick to long-term. theres a sense of community when being a club member. you see the same people all the time. your instructors get to know you personally. you are rewarded you for completing a certain amount of classes and you can add your name to a plaque. it gives you a sense of pride and improves your self-esteem. I genuinely feel much stronger, more fit, and more confident because of pilates. read more

I started my journey to recovery with yoga, and after my doctor's recommendation, I went to Pilates. I discuss my necessities with the person I took the intro class with. After finishing that class, were all about to sign me in, which I did. After 4 classes into the journal, I talked to the front desk about the classes being very easy for me, and I need guidance for more endurance or if I should move into the next one and they asked me to talk to the teacher at that time, which I did, at what the response what rude and in front of the class with very high voice trying to make me feel like I didn't know anything. After that class, I felt very uncomfortable since I am paying to be helped to reach my goals, not to be screamed at or judged. I know exactly what my body needs because I am not new to this; I was just restarting because of a disease. I sent an email that I didn't want to go back, and I can pay a fee for cancelling before my 3 months, but was it their fault or transferred to another gym, and they didn't give me an option other than a 100-dollar cancellation fee and another month's payment. They are all about the money. I never got an email or phone call for an apology, but for sure, the money was charged immediately. This is one of the most expensive gyms I have ever paid for, and the worst customer service ever! I hope they enjoy the money! read more

Club Pilates is a safe place for anyone to start learning pilates and getting exercise. There are classes for everyone of all ages and fitness levels. It's mostly all women, which I love. It is pricy at about $300 per month for unlimited classes, but it's truly unlimited. There are classes available all day 7 days a week, and you can take multiple classes per day. read more

Two and a half years ago, I took the 30-minute introduction course advertised on Facebook. I am so glad I did. I had recently lost 120lbs and needed to work on building my core strength. I began taking one class a week, working my way from beginners to intermediate classes. About a year after joining, I took a leave of absence to have a panniculectomy (excess skin removed from my stomach and to have my muscles tightened). After the surgery, my doctor informed me he DID NOT have to tighten my muscles because the work I had done in pilates had already done it! The staff is warm and inviting. The owner even reached out while I was recovering to see how I was doing. They offer a variety of classes at different times to accommodate many schedules. When COVID hit, they were able to move classes outdoors with social distancing to help members stay busy and fit. Even before COVID, the studio was immaculate. 10/10 recommend trying it out if you're looking for a new workout in a friendly environment! read more

Front desk girls are very misinformed and provide conflicting information. I cancelled my membership to be effective after my mandatory 90 day membership. I sent the form in about a month ago and still have not received a written confirmation that is been received and when my last payment withdrawal will be. When I call I am definitely made to feel I am a bother to them and asking dumb questions. They have extremely strict class cancellation policies, and you have to book out 2 weeks in advance to get into a class. The work out is so-so. I personally need more of a workout. This Pilates is a bit mild for me. Very pricey and bougie. read more

Cancellation policy is very poor. In order to cancel, you need to cancel according to their billing cycle, so I ended up paying for about 45 days not the typical 30. I'd also called several weeks prior and asked to cancel. They said because I was in the first three months, it would cost you $100. If they were really taking care of the other customers they would say why don't you reduce it down from twice a week to once a week so I would've had that cost savings. I have never ever experienced in anything longer than a 30 day cancellation. I wished the owner taught more classes. I made my reservation on the day she was scheduled to teach, but someone else taught that day. It was hard to track down her schedule, the app they use wasn't accurate. I quit because the music was very loud and the mic was exceptionally loud snd sometimes made that screeching sound. The owner frequently was talking out of failure regarding weight loss, carbs, etc. it's nice to go a fitness and be inspired not hear complaining. Though she was very nice. On the plus side, they were very covid safe (outdoors in tent). Also, they made excellent effort to work with my unique injury, and after a few sessions there was a nice flow to their accommodations. read more

I frankly can't even give them a one star!! Please do not go to this club! They make you commit to 3 mos and still have you give a 30 day cancelation fee of the monthly rate. To make things worse even if you have a illness and are willing to give them a Dr. note to prove this they don't care . The girls who teach these classes are very blah, and complain about how many classes they have taught due to a big turnover. This is not motivating at all. They charge 129 a month for4 classes and 229 a mos for 8. If you can't get in the class basically you loose your credit. No one is ever at the front desk even if you want to discuss a matter or even buy something in there you would like. This establishment does not have their act together at all. I love love love Club Pilates ! I joined Jan 2021 and still go 4-5 times a week and love it more now then when I started. Christine is the absolute best! She makes all the classes fun and challenging. I started Pilates because I have lower back issues and Pilates has helped my pain, posture and strengthened my core (and entire body). It's as good mentally as it is physically for me. All the instructors are fantastic and the owner really cares about her clients and also teaches. If you're thinking of trying it out - go for it! I have been a member at Club Pilates for about a year now. (I generally try to wait a bit before reviewing certain services, to be sure I have enough information and not judge based on one isolated experience - except when it comes for food. If I get food poisoning, you're done. LOL. No second chances for that.) I plan to write a longer review to give you the most details, but for those of you who want the tldr version... tldr/ I love Club Pilates. It has gotten me back into a fitness regimen, helped me strengthen my core, build muscle tone, and try something new. ********************************************************************* Longer review follows... POSITIVE #1: CLUB PILATES PUT ME BACK ON TRACK WITH MY FITNESS REGIMEN. Prior, I had been off and on with my workout routine, never quite committing to the routine. Why? Because I tend to be LAZY. I would often PLAN to go to a fitness class at the local gym, but then would feel too tired and would stay home on the couch, watching shows instead. Lazy but true. HA. How did they do it? Why is it different? Club Pilates has a 12 hour class cancelation policy. Meaning, if I cancel 11 hours prior to the class or 30 minutes prior to the class, I owe them some money. Did I mention this? I'm also cheap. Yep, cheap and lazy. So...I drag my lazy butt...uhm, self and head to Club Pilates. And you know what? EVERY SINGLE TIME I am glad I did it. Some people may not like the policy, but it's called responsibility. If you cancel late or no-show, others may not be able to take the class. Plan ahead...or just drag yourself and go...like me. HAHA POSITIVE #2: I ACTUALLY WORK OUT MY CORE. I was one to do cardio on the elliptical and maybe lift weights/throw the KB around, but the core? Whhhyyyy? My core is the weakest area and in the past, I would often do a few sets of crunches and call it a day. That meant my core was never really strong prior to Club Pilates. Club Pilates does not do that. Most of the exercises involve the core. So...no trying to escape that. And my core is much stronger now because of it. Seriously, the first few classes I was like, WTF. I can't do this. And now I'm like, "LOOK AT ME!!" I mean, I may not be able to do ALL the levels or all the sets, but I'm so much further along than I was. POSITIVE #3: WORKOUT VARIETY. To address one of the comments that was written previously about the repetitiveness of the classes, I have not had that experience though I can understand how it can happen. One of the fundamentals of Pilates is proper form and the instructor will generally modify exercises based on the level of the class and the actual students present. Some participants do not follow directions, so moving to the next exercise, one that may be more challenging, would be unsafe to do. In the last month or so, I have been attending 3-4 times a week, and for me, the classes have not been repetitive. We have used multiple pieces of equipment in various ways. Sometimes I even think we are going to do something we had done before...and it's not the same. I have found it always to be changing. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: This is a franchise. What one club does may not be the same as the other as the owners are different. I cannot evaluate the other clubs or the company as a whole. This place kept me sane during Covid... when everything else shut down, Jen and Justin found a way to stay open following all country/State regulations! I used to go everyday! All the instructors are great and you can find one that works for you because they are all different. My favorite was Rachel and now it's christina. There is a community feel with this club and Jen, the owner goes above and beyond for her members. Their policy are fair and cleanly written out- you can't blame the studio if you don't read the policy before signing. read more

WOW!! Where do I start? The new studio is so beautiful and the relaxing atmosphere during class is what I thoroughly enjoy. Jen the owner is such a pleasure and always goes out of her way to greet everyone by name! I think her being an instructor is a reason why she knows what us consumers want from a studio! This is by far the BEST Pilates studio in the area. The instructors are Grade A and the myth that Pilates is for women is false, as a male, I love being able to come here and challenge myself in ways I cannot do with free weights at the gym. Firstly, the classes are very repetitive. Secondly, the quality of coaching you receive from instructors varies WIDELY. once you figure out which instructors you like, you'll notice those are the hardest classes to find spots in. Last, if you try to cancel your membership, expect a hassle. I sent in the cancellation form, yet was still charged the following month. That was after not attending for several months (but still paying the membership fees). I sent in the cancellation paperwork ... Got billed again. Called to work it out and event re-sent the form to them (showing the date stamp of the original email). Was told the first email got lost in their spam folder (right...), But that they will cancel that month. Charges were never reversed, so I cancelled payment on my end. Get ANOTHER phone call from the owner a week later wanting to speak with me: no doubt to try to collect on the last month!! Look, you all got a bunch of money off me for the months I didn't go. Yet you want to haggle me for one more month because y'all 'lost' the paperwork I sent in? If you're hurting for this one month's membership fee this badly, I worry for how long your buisness will stay open. read more

I have been doing Pilates for about 3 years. I absolutely love the feeling after a workout of relaxation and soreness from all that hard work put in. I would absolutely take a intro class to see if this is something you would might be into. I have been toning up well from Pilates and you could too! Each class is designed to be around 50 minutes long. Incase anyone was curious of how it works, the instructor will start you off with leg stretches on the reformer, and then use the straps given on the reformer for arms, and so forth. If you have any soreness or aches on your body the instructors are always kind and ready to help you Adjust to the exercises the class is doing. It is also a really good idea to purchase " pilate socks" which are really just socks that have backing on the bottom to help work out in. It is easily accessible at a Pilates location such as Morgan Hill, or on amazon. Pilates is life!!‍ read more

I just got back into my Pilates groove about a month ago and I cannot tell you how amazing I feel. Jen is the most compassionate, funny and wonderful owner, and her classes are amazing! She and her husband Justin are absolutely gems, and make the experience that much better. The teachers are fantastic and really take the time to get to know you and how your body works, to keep you safe and encourage you along your fitness journey. I can feel and see the positive changes in my body (and mental state) already. If you have not tried Pilates on a reformer, this is the spot. If you plan to sign up I wouldn't... They are the worst business ever.. I enrolled September 2021 was only able to take 3 classes due to all the classe scheduled were always full . There is one teacher who would talk crap about teaching the new people who would do beginners classes. I got Covid in Nov decided to cancel my membership. I would get the run around every time I called. I finally stop payment in Dec for the full amount of $200.00 . Someone from Club Pilates called said my membership was canceled. That I owe nothing said I that I had stop payment on the last payment. She said okay fine. January 2022 Club Pilates saying I owe them $244.00 and they call every day . The cancel fee is $100.00.. They crooks and don't care about other people and their feelings and their financial hardships that they're going through Club Pilates in Morgan Hill I would never go back hope you don't either! read more

I am brand new to Pilates and I couldn't be happier with my experience at Club Pilates. The staff are helpful, patient and knowledgeable. There are a variety of classes and instructors so you can find which combinations work best for your interests and personality. I had 1:1 sessions initially with Adriana and Jen which was a great way to transition into regular classes. The studio is very clean and organized and the equipment is high quality and maintained well. I also love being able to schedule my classes via their app which syncs perfectly with my Apple calendar; it's so convenient. Pilates is definitely physically challenging but the team at Club Pilates makes it fun and enjoyable. Give it a go! read more

First off, I've taken Pilates for years at other studios. My first class here, which wasn't the intro class btw, wasn't great. I left dryer than when I came in. Not a good first impression. However, I decided to continue to come hoping the workouts would get better. It didn't. If you want to really sweat, I'd go to rocksalt or another nearby studio. There's plenty of them in Morgan Hill. In my opinion this studio is an overpriced and overrated place to stretch. $200+ a month is a joke! Sometimes the classes are full and you can't get in at the time you want. Very inconvenient if you have a busy schedule. Even worse is the owner's business practices. I sent her a written notice to cancel my membership, a lot was due to finances and pregnancy complications. She then charges my card a months worth of dues and tells me it's part of her policy. I'm having a difficult pregnancy and knowing that I can't come in she sticks me with a month membership that I can't use or afford? Wow! read more

I finally found an exercise class that I look forward to! The classes vary a bit with different instructors which adds to the fun. The equipment is cleaned after each use and the entire studio is very clean. After a few weeks I upgraded to an unlimited membership because I found myself wanting to go as much as possible. Club Pilates In Morgan Hill is THE best Pilates studio I have ever attended. I am grateful they opened in Morgan Hill, as there were no other Pilates options when I moved here 3 years ago. I have tried almost every aspect of exercise and just could not find one that didn't hurt my body in one way or another, until Pilates. Now don't get me wrong, you WILL get a great workout. The classes are varied and there is something for everyone. From beginners to advanced, the instructors keep the the classes flowing and the music is always fun! When the pandemic hit, Jen, the owner, immediately thought of her clients and started virtual classes. Then, Jen and Justin put up a tent in the parking lot to safely bring clients back to in person instruction. When it was safe, we moved back inside to a clean, sanitized studio. That is a caring owner that always has her clients best interests at heart. I will never stop practicing Pilates. Club Pilates is a franchise and your experience from studio to studio can vary based upon the owner. I've been a member of Club Pilates since 2017 and have known the owner of the Morgan Hill Studio, Jen, since that time. In 2020 I transferred to the Morgan Hill Studio. Jen keeps her studio clean, has gone above and beyond to keep members safe during Covid, and was very flexible with me about my Covid freeze. I've seen some of the reviews here about people being late and not being allowed in classes. I'm sorry this has resulted in frustration but I appreciate that the studio upholds strict polices. From my perspective, it's irritating and stressful when some other studios let people into class who are 10-15 minutes late - it's disruptive and puts us at risk when they haven't gone through the warm up and jump right into class. Jen is a class act when it comes to how she runs her studio, treats her instructors, staff, and members. I can't wait until she opens Cupertino so the drive won't be as bad for me...! read more
