I've really been enjoying my experience at Club Pilates. The location is perfect for me, and while the parking is a little bit of a walk, it's free... and honestly, I'm here to move my body anyway, so the extra steps aren't a bad thing. The staff is very friendly, and I love how diverse both the instructors and members are. It really shows that Pilates can work for all body types, backgrounds, and fitness levels. The studio is always clean, and I especially enjoy the fun after-class events they put together. After about 4 classes, I could feel my body starting to change and improve. I also had some lower back pain that has gotten much better. The instructors are great about giving one-on-one help with form, which makes me feel confident that I'm strengthening my body safely instead of hurting it. I took the free Intro class and the instructor we had really took her time to explain the different terms along with the equipments. It made me realize how much I missed doing Pilates and how amazing it made me feel afterwards. This is my time taking Pilates and I could have asked for a better place. The teachers are awesome. I'm 75 and am not ignored but directed in the proper direction. They have all levels and the studio is very well equipped with just the right amount of reformers. The classes are not large. Management was great when I had an emergency and had to go out of town. I've been coming here since November 2025 having never set foot in a Pilates studio. The facility is always clean and well-maintained. The instructors are knowledgeable and really support you. I appreciate that it doesn't matter your fitness level you feel part of the group. I only wish there was more of a locker room for changing and storing personal belongings. From my first interaction with this location it has been great positive and empowering . That's right not only encouraging but empowering great group of staff . I love how kind the instructors are and Jackie in the front along with her front desk staff is chefs kiss ! I went from trial to only a three month plan to unlimited in less than 4 weeks because I couldn't get enough of the work out . I'm here for injury prevention and to help my alignment as well as my mental awareness. I really loving my experience here and can't wait to see where I'll be physically after 6 months . This is a new review, the one I did the last year was accurate for the time, and I've fallen in love with pilates at this studio- I still have my 100 class certificate on my fridge, so I'm leaving it up. I'll be cancelling with the studio mainly due to the inconsistency in scheduling. I think Club Pilates is still ok for those who are looking for 1-3 workouts a week, but for the unlimited package that I had, not so much. I have a normal 9-6 job so naturally can only do 7/7:30am classes, 7pm classes, and then weekends. They already don't have those options on Fridays, but one week without notice, that morning Thursday class permanently moved to 8:30, making both Thursdays and Fridays no-gos in my 9-6 work schedule. And thennn the cancellations started a few months ago. Granted, it's hard to find subs last minute and impossible when an instructor calls out an hour before class, but it was too frequent at this studio to make the unlimited pass worth the money. When we were notified of cancellations, the other classes that day would usually be full as you have to book your classes about a week ahead for availability, weekend classes sometimes two weeks ahead which I don't mind, but all that together started making it really hard to get a solid workout routine of 3+ reformer classes. [La Cañada is an option, but those classes also fill up fast and to pivot to going to another studio day of can be challenging as I personally bike/walk to Pilates]. I emailed about this and they were really receptive and did add a 6:30am but only once a month and the level above 1.5 where I was so again- really hard to get a solid routine. I was almost ready to test into level 2, but there are even fewer of those options open, and none outside of the 9-6 work hours during the week. Then there were the minor things that would happen regularly: instructors showing up right at the start of class (first class of the day so we had to be let inside and then set up the studio), music not working, front desk saying they'll call you right back and then never calling, etc. One instructor left and when asked if we'd be seeing them on the schedule, she said some unprofessional things that made a few of us uncomfortable. Those minor things add up next to the rest of it, and have made me reconsider my membership. I think there's room for improvement and I believe they will improve, it just became too much of a waiting game for me to justify paying for an unlimited pass. TLDR: Though I have grown a lot and fallen in love with Pilates at Club Pilates Glendale, it doesn't have the variety, consistency, or convenience to make the unlimited pass worth the money. Those who are looking for 1-3 classes max or have a flexible work schedule to pivot to later morning or early evening classes will probably be fine. read more

Workouts- Ruth: An absolute joy and bright light of energy. She will give you a full body workout and show you you're stronger than you think by positively pushing you through each set. You will sweat in each of her classes. (A lot) Francesca: Super professional and positive. Will give you a head to toe workout without you even realizing it. I can feel Francesca's workouts even days after her classes. Front Desk: Sofie (Manager) and Breanna are awesome. Always available to answer questions and a pleasure to speak with. I drove an hour from work to be turned away from the two girls at the front who are rude, seemed to lack empathy and a basic understanding of anything. I was turned away because I arrived 1 minute past the 5-minute late policy. Mind you it's pouring rain and I walked over 5 minutes as it poured to get to the studio from the closest parking I could find after looping around multiple times given the impossible parking situation in front of this studio. I have been at this studio one too many times and other club pilates but will not be returning. The lack of understanding is truly baffling. I understand policies but are you kidding? Wouldn't recommend. Their policies are outrageous. I'm a travel RN and express that I could leave to do an assignment elsewhere and assure that they would be accommodated which were lies. Had my account frozen and wanted to cancel it and said that it needed to be activated which they had to charge full price 250- membership fee. The best they could do was downgrade my membership and charge me 129 which is free money to them since I won't be able to attend the classes. read more

Returning back to Pilates has been wonderful with Glendale's club Pilates studio. Front desk and staff are all very friendly. Annie and Francesca are very good about explaining the proper moves during the class The instructors are wonderful and willing to help except for one in particular. Ann seems disengaged and is not willing to correct or help someone. If needed. I've experienced this myself, as well as Seen others being ignored by her. One of the other members actually said it best during class that she's not willing to help Nor is she friendly. The studio is clean, and the flow of people coming in and out between classes is very easy. I'm very happy with all of it, except for the bad experience that I have had with ANN as well as other people. However, ANNIE is WONDERFUL when it c comes to explaining injury, prevention, and correct positioning, which is a must in any form of exercise especially Pilates. Club Pilates is my torture of choice!! I've tried many types of workout classes and routines but reformer Pilates is what my body craves. Pilates has made me mentally and physically stronger and I can see the difference. I live in Highland Park and the Glendale studio is very convenient. Everyone in the studio is beyond helpful, positive, and encouraging; nothing but good vibes. The instructors are all amazing and make classes challenging, yet fun! Before COVID I really enjoyed Club Pilates and the instructors were great. This is about their business practices since COVID, including their contract and their lack of communication. I have other memberships (Burke Williams, etc) and it was so easy to pause those memberships because I couldn't use them right now. Club Pilates contract and business model and haven't been. able to hold up their end of the contract. They charged me 200.00 after several months of having my account frozen AND their Glendale location isn't even open. They still haven't refunded the money. If you have had problems with this company please contact me because I am also pursuing a complaint with the state. read more

I have been coming here for a little over 3 months. I only do Pilates Flow 1 for now. But I have had most of the trainers, each with their own unique styles and difficulty level. But there is never a session where I'm not in my shake zone or not struggling with at least one move still in Flow 1. Which is why I'm not in any rush to move up to the next class. Every instructor will give you the form corrections you need and if you start talking to them and building a relationship with them and the studio, they tend to keep a closer eye on you to help you really make the most of your time in the studio. I love that no two classes from the same instructor is ever the same. But if you want to challenge yourself, take a Nancy or Annie class and you will defo sweat!!! This month I was able to upgrade to unlimited and even though I still only do Flow 1 I feel a huge change coming at least 4 times a week. I'm totally hooked. read more

I don't recommend club Pilates for anyone who is already really strong or is used to really challenging Pilates classes. Many of the instructors do a lot of floor Pilates in their classes which I can do at home. I pay to use the machine. They also never do any side lying legs in straps, I think because the quality of the machines isn't too great. I'm rarely sore after a class here. Probably because you have to book a level 2 (the hardest class) at least a week in advance. All the good classes are full and you can rarely book a class day of that is challenging. I also always increase the weight of the sprints if we are doing lying leg work because I feel nothing and one of the instructors came by and lowered my springs. Really annoying. The teachers need to get better at providing options for more advanced members seeing as there are so few hard classes available. read more

I have been a member of Club Pilates - Glendale since July 2017. I have only had great experiences with this location. Every instructor has been the right blend of challenging and motivating. Both the owner and the manager are attentive and quick to respond. They take suggestions and listen to ideas. The site is clean, fresh cold water and facecloths are always available. And while all those things are great, what keeps me coming back is the way I feel both while I am working out and after I am done. When I work out in the morning before work, I am happier, more focused and clear headed. My body has become stronger and my flexibility has improved. If you are looking for a new Pilates studio, I would highly suggest Club Pilates in Glendale. read more

I've been in business for many years and the level of incompetence displayed by the front desk staff/manager is abysmal. No experience working with the general public. If you're looking for a "mean girl" type of experience then this is it. Update review: I have been having so many issues with club Pilates! It's been so hard to get a hold of anyone. I recently just came back from a trip out of the country and with the time difference it even harder to contact anyone. Before I left 2 months ago, I told them that I wanted to cancel my membership because there was no point in paying $160 a month for something I couldn't use. They told me i had to pay a cancellation fee, and I agreed because I would rather pay that. I JUST WANTED TO GET OUT OF IT! They confirmed with me that I wasn't gonna get charged anymore for the next month, and everything was fixed. Of course, I check my bank account and there it was. 2 charges for the past 2 months... Yes classes are fun and a nice change.. but do not commit to them! read more

So it's cool that they offer a free 1/2 hour intro class. They ask that u get there 15 min early. I didn't bc I hit a ton of traffic bc of the LA marathon. Instead I get there 2 min late and I couldn't take the class. Waste of time. I've taken Pilates for a long time and I kinda know the drill. The business decisions they make here prove that they care about money more than they care about their guests. We joined months before Covid shit down everything. It was ok. Nothing special. The people were nice when they signed you up. They had to shut down sue to the virus and they still charges us the extension fees to keep our account active even though we couldn't go in. Then I told them what's the post of paying extension fees until who knows when if we can't go back until it's safe. They make you clean your own machine and half the people weren't doing it right. We didn't feel safe. We asked they don't charge us the extension fees and we will be back as soon as it is safe. They don't understand that and insisted on charging us the $220 more for the last month even though we weren't going back.so let's ad this up. You make $220 but you lose $2700 a year. Hmmm great business decision. All other stores are understanding and working with customers to keep us happy. There's a pandemic going on and they have no exceptions. Well we found a better place in Atwater that is more welcoming and has better business practices. We will start there as soon as it's safe to go. Good job Glendale. I will tell everyone I know to not go there. It's not the money but the fact that you took advantage of a bad situation so you can make $218 and pissed off the wrong person. Worse customer service!!!! I was a little late and they said i cant participate!!! Are u kidding me! I know it is the policy, but I also know there are exceptions to the policy. I was very nice and asked them nicely to please make an exception since I come from far and it was crazy traffic, she said nope sorry! Really like really! There were only two people in the class. I got really upset, and I said i am canceling my membership, she didn't care!!! Hire people who care about ur business and ur clients!!! read more

I want to start this review with letting folks know that I only took an Intro Class here and I actually really enjoyed it. I thought the instructor gave good directions on proper form and was very patient if people had questions. Our class was a mix of people who hadn't worked out in a long time, new to pilates/reformer classes (me), and someone who had done these classes before at a different location. This is a new location, has parking, and the equipment is new. Overall, I would've given this place 4 Stars ("Yay! I'm a fan.") So, why the 3 stars? Though it's not entirely the studio's fault, my iPhone 6 was stolen while I was in class--right out of my gym bag. I feel like it's my responsibility to tell future patrons that they do not have lockers. They only have open cubby spaces (located close to an exit door) and the front desk, which makes it very easy for someone to steal your belongings. So keep your things locked in your car (out of plain sight), have them with you by your reformer station, or don't bring them at all. Lisa (the manager, I think?) and Rebecca (the instructor) felt bad & tried to help me locate my phone, but ultimately it was a lost cause. Lisa offered me 20% off my 1st month of classes, which was a nice gesture, but I don't know if I want to come back because of what happened (also because now that I had to pay for a brand new phone, I don't see myself spending any money on Pilates classes in the near future). Good class, but just the bad experience of having my phone stolen spoils the overall experience. read more

I recently attended my first class at this location and really enjoyed it. The front desk person was super sweet and friendly. The reason why I'm giving four stars instead of five is because when I went to the restroom in the middle of class (which I wish I didn't have to do but duty called) and came back to resume my workout, the instructor didn't reorient me as to what move we were currently doing. I just had to look around to know what I was supposed to be doing. It also so happened that I was doing the wrong move, and yet the instructor still didn't catch me doing the wrong move. I definitely felt like I missed out a bit because I was lost but I'm hoping it'll get better as I continue going to the classes.
