Lovely facility and nice people. Unfortunately I am hard of hearing and even with my hearing aids on I could not hear the instructors. When I had to quit because of this (and not being able to find an available classes) they told me I HAD to pay for another month because it's part of their cancellation policy. I'm very unhappy about this and won't be returning to Club Pilates nor will I recommend it to others. read more

I loved my first class at Club Pilates with Nicole! I took the level 1.5 class on the reformer and it was challenging but manageable. I work out 5 times a week and am pretty fit. There were movements in the class that targeted muscles I haven't worked out before. It felt great getting to activate those muscles and see my body shake. There were also movements that really burned and I wanted to stop. Nicole did a great job about either making a joke about it or letting us know we only had a few more left. I wasn't sore the next day but I immediately felt relief in my lower back where I can experience back pain. My back felt aligned when sometimes a workout can leave it hurting. I left the class feeling refreshed and look forward to coming back! Thanks Nicole for a great class! read more

There seems to have been a lot of infrastructure improvements over recent years, there are very nice concrete RV Sites with full hookup, the entrance road into the park is a little rough requiring you to mostly travel at idle speeds. There is a large boat launch and parking lot located before you get to the park's entrance so the traffic pattern inside the park is free of boat trailers and tow vehicles. There are plenty of covered pavilions for picnicking and getting out of the sun as well as a nice concrete area at the end of the park designed for fishing and crabbing and it seemed like a lot of the visitors were here for that. There was absolutely no cellular service on most of the drive in and inside the park so plan ahead, maybe your service provider will have better results. I also recommend you fuel up before coming here I did not see any convenient stores or fueling options along the 18 mile drive once we took the exit off LA90. It's a beautiful setting and seems to be a popular area for boating, fishing and camping with a Louisiana vibe...
