The original intention of Joseph Pilates was healing wounded shoulders by offering low impact strength, core and balance work out. Great concept and for the most part it is carried out well here. My 2 requests for improvement are: Allow level one classes to incorporate some work with chair, boso ball at least. Some instructors are good at varying the routine but others use the same routine each class especially level one. There is an over emphasis on bridging in the floor or on the reformer neither of which is a good position for people that don't have the limb length to get good extension. Some instructors have you working at the bar or floor for 60-70% of the class (Reformer flow). There are a lot of things we are not using that could be incorporated --stretch bands, foam roller etc. read more

Well I suppose I will join everyone else who gave club Pilates in West Little Rock a one star. I saw an advertisement on Instagram for them and called because it looks like an interesting work out. When I spoke to the woman on the phone she was unable to tell me when classes actually take place- so I would have to become a member to actually see when the classes occur. I explained to her that I work full-time so I would need to know what time the evening classes are for example are they Tuesday and Thursdays at 5:15? She told me she would not be able to tell me due to confidentiality and that I would have to become a member to see when the classes occur. Thus I'm giving them one star for a place I have never visited, but I was interested in until they were unavailable able to tell me when classes take place. Ridiculous! read more

I'm not sure why there are such negative reviews here. They emailed me before my intro class about needing grip socks, which I picked up at Target (2 for $10). There is no charge if you're late or miss a class. You lose the credit if you cancel less than 12 hours in advance. I've never seen someone turned away for being late...I've been working out here for 3+ years. Contract is a standard automatic billing gym contract. I recently switched to the unlimited classes option, as it's a better value for me. The equipment is excellent and is in good repair. The instructors and staff are very pleasant and well-trained. This is a chain; I've practiced for 20 years, and it's a great option that allows you to catch a class in another city if you're traveling. Their schedule of classes is available on their app for anyone to see. They also offer private lessons but I haven't availed myself of that option to date. read more

Let's just say the corporation seems more concerned about their revenue than you. First they get you at their "free" intro class where you shell out $15 for grip socks in order to participate that they don't tell you about in advance. If you sign a contract you, you find out they will charge a fee if you're more than 5 minutes late or a $15 fee if you miss a class altogether even though you've already paid in advance for the class. If you get injured during a class and can't participate, they don't care, send the money! That being said, the actual workouts were challenging and probably beneficial with mostly friendly staff and decent music. read more

All they care about is money! You need to give them 30 day notice to quit (just so they can get an extra month of money because WHY would it ever take 30 days to cancel a workout contract???). When I disputed the charge on my credit card they threatened me with a collection agency. Then they charged me extra for a LATE FEE because stealing $170 was not enough... what a ripoff! And THE WORST customer service for billing. They flat out told me there was nobody I could speak to to resolve this issue. Either I paid the extra month and the late fee or get my credit ruined. Worst possible gym to go to. Save your money and join a regular gym that also has Pilates classes (included in your monthly fee). I will never again join a Club Pilates and will never recommend it to anyone. Beware!!! read more

Club Pilates in West Little Tock has been a terrific way to safely work out and connect during Covid-19. Everyone is very friendly, the sessions are challenging, and I'm happy to drive an hour from Hot Springs to attend classes. I'm praying, they will eventually consider a location in Hot Springs, but for now it's worth the drive. Great quality and variety of equipment. Teachers are helpful. read more

Buyer beware! I signed up and was told I could cancel after 3 months, but needed auto payment. I receive my notice of my credit card being billed after 3 months and contacted them to cancel my account because I had not been able to attend classes. I was a day late calling so they billed me for another month and 2 months later they billed my card again. I called my credit card company to dispute bills and the company turned me over to debt collector trying to collect $644.00 not the $97. They never called or attempted to correct the problem. Very small community and very poor customer service. read more
