Instructors are great, plenty of parking, and get privileges at one other jointly-owned location too in Pratville. My only critiques are that their shop in the front could be bigger and have more stock/variety of items. I've been a Club Pilates member for awhile now. From my first class, I knew that I finally found an exercise modality that I love and actually enjoy doing! I have Fibromyalgia, and decades of experience as an RN, and those left me with a great deal of pain, and injuries. Since I've been doing reformer Pilates, I can tell a tremendous difference in pain & inflammation reduction, improved flexibility, balance, and coordination. All of the instructors are incredible, and each brings their own unique style to the CP method of teaching. Every class is different and keeps the body guessing. Definitely listen to your body and the instructor, and don't forget to focus on mind-body connection, and slowing down the breath. I tried the free 50 minute class right before Christmas and loved it! I enjoy stretching and have always wanted to try Pilates so it was good timing for me to check it out. All the movements felt amazing and I can see how great my body would feel if I did it routinely. I also liked the individual stations and how the instructor coaches you through all the different movements. We worked all areas of the body and I felt great afterward. I have been a member of Club Pilates since they opened their Zelda Rd studio (which is now closed, so I attend this studio now). We have had a LOT of instructors come and go; some great, some ok and some who have, fortunately, left over the years. They are under new ownership now and things are looking up. I want to give a shoutout to one of our newer instructors, Louise. We are so grateful that she chose to join this studio. She has tons of experience in other modalities too - I can tell from her classes. We also appreciate the amount of work (research) she puts into her classes. I have attended almost 1500 classes with this Club and she challenges us! Some people like the familiarity of the same classes, without being challenged, and I think they're missing the point of what Pilates is. Your body needs the variety of several instructors who do different things. I am grateful for the instructors we have now, and enjoy the complexity of Louise's classes; Pilates is a mind-body connection, and she exercises my brain too read more

This was my very first time taking a Pilates class. I was a little nervous wondering how I would do and if I could keep up. Everyone was very friendly and the instructor kindly guided me on certain maneuvers to make sure I got it right. The class was challenging but a lot of fun and good vibes. It was nice that it was multi ethnic which made me feel right at home. I decided to join and I'm excited to see the transformation as I continue. read more

I had a good experience with Club Pilates until it was time for me to cancel my membership. I was told to come in to cancel it, so I booked a class and went in. I let the instructor and the lady at the front desk know I needed to cancel. We talked for about 10 minutes as to why I needed to cancel. I was never asked to sign anything and even asked " Thats all?" The lady at the desk told me that was it, and she even added a couple weeks to my current membership to help use the rest of my credits. I then took an hour long class and left. I was to get one more charge, and was very surprised when I got two more charges. When I called and told them about their mistake they said I had never signed the cancelation form and would still be charged until I did. This was not brought to my attention when I asked to cancel the first time, by either the instructor or the front desk. I honestly believe they did this to get more money out of me. They should train their employees better on cancelation policies and not hide behind employee mistakes and fine-print legal jargon. I was planning on joining Club Pilates after my move, but now will find a more reputable, customer-focused company to do my workouts with. read more
