I hate posting negative reviews but I'm afraid that there isn't enough being said about the fact that this places allows in 18 year old girls who are scantily dressed along with older men who then gawk at and pawn at these same girls. It's disgusting. We had to leave because I was afraid I'd have a physical confrontation with these perverts. The city should shut this place down or at the very least, make them change their age requirements. Expect a pretty young and very rowdy crowd. It's a great setup, and very open layout. They place a great collection of music and the crowd loved it. My hang ups were how young the crowd was (I can only assume fake id's came into play), and the cleanliness. The same pile of puke sat in the women's bathroom for over an hour until it was taken care of. Even the dance floor was riddled with trash (both human and otherwise). People were sloppy drunk and seemed like half of them could hardly walk. At some point, don't serve these people. Like I said though, great setup. This is my favorite club in Springfield guaranteed a good time! The huge dance floor gives plenty of space for line dancing and just bouncing around. The employees have always been very friendly and welcoming! They are open Thursday-Saturday 7-1:30am free entry up to 8pm. Thursday is Ladies night so gals get in for 3 dollars 21 and up. Friday is college night bring your college ID for free entry! I chose one place to celebrate my 30th birthday because they always treat myself and my friends so well.... tonight was the night to kick it... one last time before I became a thirty year old.... they COMPLETELY let me down... they did NOT play the ONE song we requested, there were 3 of us, and it was asked about multiple times. The response given was, "we are downloading it now".... the OWNER of the establishment told me he would play it. It was NOT a lame or stupid song! And it never got played. We were so pleasantly surprised here! We were in town for a wedding and decided to stick around Springfield afterward. After growing up on Midnight Rodeo's slight nightmare-ish atmosphere, were we very hesitant to try Club Rodeo, but we ended up having a lot of fun. With that being said, we went at 7:00 on a Saturday and left by 10:00. It was mostly older couples, but the music was great (80s/90/s/00s country, honky tonk, etc.), cover was free, and drinks were half price. By the time we left, it was getting REALLY busy, and I was glad to be leaving when we did. There were lots of Ubers parked here, and the bar staff was professional and attentive. The grounds were clean, and there was a large patio. The building itself is good size, and there are pool tables and beer pong tables around the perimeter of the interior. read more

The venue was really well laid out with plenty of things to do. Lots of space in the dance floor, a separate piano bar room with couches and tables and billiards. The pianist was awesome and had a great voice and was a talented pianist. Upstairs overlooking the dance floor was nice. The worst part was the music. Felt like the DJ was playing music to cater to a 40-50 year old audience when the majority of people are no more than around 25... but people go because it's the only clubby place in town. The music was just really, really sad. Mostly old club music and some country. Intermingling the country with better club music would do a great deal for this place. A lot of people just want to line dance, so put some line dance music on! And then mix up some current songs in other genres like pop, hip hop, current EDM (not old club music from the 90s-2000s). Retro is good in moderation. Not for the whole scene. It felt like a Spotify playlist that just kept looping around. It was really sad. A good DJ knows how to read the audience and build up the vibe--also, don't play the entire song and wait for the next one to come on. After a verse or chorus, it gets old. Fade it on into a different song. But don't build up a beat drop and then change it. That ticks the whole crowd off. Might need to get a better DJ. On a brighter note, the outdoor area was very nice with corn hole and chairs to sit in, a lot quieter too, to get away from the bad music choices. It was a really, really nice venue... but the music was just so bad I couldn't give it anymore stars. read more

If I could leave negative stars, I would. This has got to be the worst place I've visited my entire life. First of all, letting in drunk underage kids is a recipe for disaster and I experienced it first hand. The dance floor was nasty even at opening time and only got worse when people began throwing beer bottles down, even if it would have been clean there was no room to dance due to the whole floor being stood on. The worst part of the entire night was when I was sexually assaulted by some underaged drunk kid in front of everyone. Some guy ran up behind me, grabbed my breasts, and ran away. Security did nothing but haul out the guy who witnessed it and tried to catch him and simply let us know there is nothing they could do and it was just "part of it". My husband and I are in our mid 20s, so not old and grouchy by any means, but that is not how a typical bar works. Good news is, the bathrooms are really nice. read more

Worst nightclub in Springfield, the bouncers are blind/incompetent fools who let underage girls in with fake ID's or no ID and automatically assume every dude that tries to get in is using a fake. They stole and destroyed my friends only ID because the bouncer thought it was fake, even after presenting other forms of non state issued identification. Management is poor and music is no better. If you want to over pay for watered down drinks and having your ID taken, this is the place. Downtown Springfield is 100x better than this nightmare of a "club". If Yelp would let me, Club Rodeo would get 0 stars from me due to the lack of intelligence among the bouncers, the way the staff treat their customers and the overall safety of the place. Not even a month ago a conflict arose and shots were fired but yet again the bouncers did not even try to de escalate the situation on their property. If you want to have a fun night, Club Rodeo is not the place for you. read more
