We had time to eat lunch at the pools snack area and the women next to us still was waiting for her drinks that she ordered before we left to eat. If you go to the pool bar you have to be very forceful to get drinks. John Tafer needs to visit this place! This place could double its revenue stream with better service and having a DJ show up before 2pm. Management is focused on keeping the towels nicely tucked in versus taking care of customers. The chairs have to be touching and if you leave them for a period of time they will refold your towel. Managements focus is in the wrong area. Too many men folding towels and trying to impress girls with their connections and not enough service. Glad I brought my own beer. :)

Inside, it was very cold and pretty smoky, which took away from the experience. The place felt a bit divey and had potential to be nicer if it were cleaner and more comfortable. That said, the drink prices were reasonable, and the pool tables were fairly priced at about $10 an hour. Service was okay, nothing great, nothing terrible. The restrooms weren't too bad and were acceptable for a late-night spot. Overall, it's fine if you're just looking for somewhere to shoot pool and have a cheap drink, but the atmosphere could definitely be improved with better temperature control, less smoke, and a more welcoming environment.

We engaged in conversation about books and such and she let us have our own little chats while she made other guest showing up feel welcome. Perfect balance of bartender and like running into an old friend. Beautiful bar and the music from the club next door is at the perfect level to have a little something playing behind us so that we could still enjoy the conversation and dance in our seat if we wanted to.
