I did all of the prep work for them-- wrapped furniture, unbuilt my bed, etc, but they kept complaining about things, even the freight elevators. When I went to pay the movers, the movers told me to send the money to some woman's Zelle account (Nina). The bank flagged recipient as suspicious and put my account on hold (I showed this to the movers). The movers would not leave until I sent money to Nina's personal checking account. I showed them multiple times that I attempted the payment and contacted customer service. However, the 3 movers became impatient and began screaming and cursing at me and demanding that I figure it out or else (while laughing). I was screamed and cursed at for 40 minutes. "trash, broke bitch, I'm gonna have to tell your friend who referred us that you are trash. I fucking hate people like you. We did our job, we're not leaving until we get paid. The nerve of you fucking people. you don't give a fuck about us now that your move is done. Watch I bet you're trynna run game on us" During this time Nina called one of the movers and said "whatever happens, God be with you." Later when I asked them to not speak to me like that in my home as I was coming up with a solution, they became more aggressive. "Don't make me go Eastside up in this bitch, n-word" and "b*tch you don't own this apartment, I do until you pay me you stupid b*tch." While I called around to see if a friend could send the money to Nina's account; the yelling and screaming was heard by other people on the phone. The situation was so bad that the building called the police, but the movers were gone by then. Bad attitude and customer service. Not sure why they felt the need to threaten people in their own home for their suspicious bank issues, but beware of this and have cash on hand or be prepared to deal with whatever comes your way, including being held hostage in your own home.
