The company is very hard to get in touch with the individual property managers. I have sent emails and have waited for a reply to no avail. The most the receptionist can do is send you to a voicemail box. Also, for whatever ever reason the property is always being transferred to a new person. They made me fill out 4 applications my client spent $600 to after telling me me that they are not the ma agent company for emerald Forrest. BEWARE BEWARE Please be advised that CMC is not a licensed property manager in DC, and CMC has been fined by DCRA for lack of proper licensing in 2025. On an even more important note, CMC has been admonished by the Community Associations Institute, which is a professional organization that provides certifications and designations in property management. In short, this admonishment resulted from an ethics complaint I filed after it was discovered that CMC commingled property operation funds and insurance funds that were received specifically to renovate my unit after a fire. As a result of their commingling activity as well as fraudulent accounting, the money received by CMC to manage and pay for the renovation disappeared with no explanation and I had to expend my own money to restore my unit. The insurance company estimated at total cost of $1330,000 to restore the unit. The quality of their property management is horrendous (non-responsive, liars, avoid responsibility, lazy, etc.), especially Randy Summers. I wish I could give them 0 stars! read more

NO STARS... When I thought no property management company could be worse than the last one, CMC Management proved me wrong. For a month, my concerns have been ignored. Despite speaking with Brian, sending texts, emails, and leaving voicemails, I've received no response. The office staff covers for him with excuses like, "Oh, he just stepped out," or mysteriously dropping the call when I hold. Their disrespectful approach and poor communication are unacceptable. I Was FINALLY ABLE barely speak with Brian who was ONLY concerned about the NASTY REVIEW!!! He lied and said he never met me, had no information or messages etc. Brian handed me parking stickers and his business cards. After calling and requesting an HOA application, and informing them of the specific community I was searching for, I was given the wrong information from the beginning and was later told that my clients had to redo the entire application. This is very frustrating and a waste of time when the call was placed initially to get correct information and wasn't given it. Rather than acknowledge their mistake, they make it seem as if it is our fault. My clients are very upset, rightfully so with the misinformation provided by the company. Time is wasted and now they have to redo their application and spend time going back to the bank to fix fees. read more

I have been a homeowner of Estancia located at Talia Circle, Palm Springs, FL 33461 for eight years. Century Management Company (CMC) Management located at 2950 Jog Rd, Lake Worth, FL 33463 is the property management company that oversees Estancia for the past five years. I have interacted with the President of CMC and the Property Manager on several occasions. I have found their interaction to be highly unprofessional and unresponsive. For 2018, our HOA dues have gone up to $226 per month with no visible changes to enhance the community. I have had occasions where I have requested guest passes and they were not given to me in a timely manner. I have had instances where the grass in my front lawn has deteriorated and I have brought the issue to CMC management and nothing was done to remedy the issue. I recently called to update my phone number on the gate coding system and spoke to the CMC President. The CMC President sent me an e-mail stating that the issue was resolved on 01/24/2018. I discovered that my name was removed completely from the gate system and continued to be removed throughout the weekend and up to today 02/12/2018. I sent an e-mail to the CMC President informing him that I had been removed from the gate entry system on 02/10/2018. I received an e-mail from the CMC President stating that any further communication should be addressed to the association attorney. I have made complaints to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) at https://www.bbb.org/south-east-florida Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) at http://www.myfloridalicense.com/contactus/ in a good faith effort to resolve ongoing issues with CMC Management. I was charged a late fee because of something out of my control. When I asked why my payment wasn't processed, Tina admitted CMC was having trouble reconciling their new bank's software with their client software, leaving some people off the list for automatic payments. When it happened for a second time, they refused to reimburse me the $25.00 for the second late fee. Tina yelled at me and was incredibly rude. I did not raise my voice, but simply asked questions. She hung up on me. When I called Scott, her boss to report it, he said he would get back to me. Instead, Tina called back. I didn't want to speak to her so I hung up. read more

Their communication was abysmal, it took multiple attempts to resolve my issue. There is a complete lack of empathy and understanding towards tenants. Horrible. Terrible! We have had this company a little over a year and nothing gets done or resolved. Each month when the board and owners meet it's like being in a reality tv episode where everyone is arguing and people walk out. The property manager usually does the yelling, always telling us (no matter what issue is brought up), "nothing can be done about it". She has destroyed the morale in our community. We all know the real estate market is not what it used to be, but that aside, this woman has neglected our community, and it is sorely suffering because of it.
