If I could leave zero stars I would. Please read this before you choose to live here as I wish I…read morehad not renewed my lease! I have lived in this community for years, and I have never been more concerned about the safety of the residents. What has been happening over the past several weeks is completely unacceptable. The vehicle break-ins did not start today. They began approximately three weeks ago, and they continue to happen. On July 10, six vehicles were broken into overnight and personal property was stolen. As of July 13, thirteen more vehicles were broken into overnight and one stolen and crashed, yet management has still failed to acknowledge the situation or communicate with residents in any meaningful way. As you can see from the screenshot of my email inbox, the leasing office has not sent a single community-wide email warning residents, addressing the repeated crimes, or explaining what steps--if any--are being taken to improve security. The silence is incredibly concerning. To make matters worse, the parking lot is poorly lit, and the entrance gates are left broken and open. These ongoing issues only make the property more vulnerable to crime. Instead of taking proactive measures, management continues to ignore obvious security concerns. Parking is another major issue. There are virtually no parking restrictions, allowing residents to keep multiple vehicles and park wherever they choose. Those of us paying approximately $2,600 per month often cannot find parking in front of--or even on the side of--our own building. I have raised this issue with the leasing office countless times, and nothing has changed. Twenty vehicle break-ins in just three weeks should be more than enough to prompt immediate action. When will the entrance gates be repaired and consistently kept closed? When will additional lighting be installed? When will security cameras be added throughout the property or a security guard hired to patrol the lot? How many more residents have to become victims before management takes these issues seriously? Beyond the crime, trash is routinely left overflowing around the dumpsters and compactor, loud parties continue around the pool after hours, and people regularly speed through the narrow parking lots with little regard for the safety of residents, children, or pets. This property has the potential to be a wonderful place to live, but management's failure to address repeated safety concerns has created an environment where residents no longer feel secure. If you are considering moving here, understand that the recurring vehicle break-ins, lack of communication, poor lighting, broken gates, and ongoing inaction are serious concerns that should not be ignored.

Therefore, I knew I needed a property management company to handle those unique set of challenges in my absence. I had researched many properties management companies online in the Fort Lauderdale area. I happened to come across Icon Realty Management and Brokerage. After reading the great reviews and my conversation with Ben and finally meeting him at the property. I decided to have them manage my property. Within 2 days of Icon Realty having the property in their listings, it was rented on day 2 (two). Ben, At Icon Realty has truly been professional and responsive thought the whole process. I highly recommend Ben from Icon Management for anyone looking for a Management and Brokerage firm. DM Celebration, FL

I waited 30 Days to post this review to give Benjamin the benefit of the doubt, to give him a…read morechance to prove his word as a property management company but here is the proof that he is a SCAM artist. I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.
