He's a super-nice kid who reminded me a lot of some of my favorite people who make their livings in the trades. Our house is 35 years old this year, and our French doors are likely original. One side has always opened fine, but as of last week, we couldn't open the other side, which is something we need at the moment. A Boeing engineer and a professional handyman were having wine on the back deck with me, and between the 3 of us, after 10 minutes of fiddling, we gave up. Enter True W&D. Austin texted me within 24 hours of filling out the contact-us form on their website, and he was at the house within an hour when I asked if he had an appointment open. He messed with the door for a few minutes, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it in maybe 15 minutes. Added longer screws once he was done, so now the door is more securely mounted, too. Another company wanted $490 just to set foot on the property, fix or no fix. Austin did it for $200 flat, right on the button with his quote--as he put it, "$200 if I can fix it, $0 if I can't." That made this a very easy choice, and he more than lived up to the basic faith I put into hiring him. We have a few windows around here that need updating, and when we get to that part of the to-do list, he'll be my first call for sure.

I listed their service under the first name in my Zelle account, and when I went to send $ via Zelle for a different home service I accidentally Zelle'd them $65.00. I immediately requested a refund via Zelle, and again two weeks later. I then left multiple voicemails, never getting any response. I would have even considered as down payment on future services but cannot even suggest that without a dialogue. I wondered if they are out of business, but the bank account is still active as is the cell phone number.

Had Andrew come out and he was quick to find the leak and scheduled time to come fix it. We were selling our house so we needed the work done FAST and Andrew was able to provide that to us. So anyhow, we thought the leak was fixed but that evening we had HEAVY rain, like just buckets coming down hard. It was 2am and we can hear "drip....drip....drip..." in the ceiling above us again. My husband emailed Andrew at like 2am and told him that the leak was still happening and no joke, Andrew emailed him back at like, 4am saying he would come out that morning and check it out. He saw the register of shock on my face and quickly said, "IT'S ANDREW, I'm here for the roof!". He got up there, re-did some work on the roof and made sure it was all sealed up tight. He was on the roof like that! Fixing the roof, dressed like the ultimate Seahawks fan. that's dedication to both his business and to the love of football! It's pretty rare to find a business like Unique roofing that really goes above and beyond with the level of customer service like this. With trying to sell our house we were really working with a tight time frame and Andrew went out of his way to really help us out and get everything in top shape for us.
