These guys were nice but I would not use them again. They did glass in our upstairs bathroom and the glass doors have never worked correctly. They were always good about it and would try to fix it, so I never left a bad review even though it was not good work. However, this time I realized they badly cracked our glass tile on both top and bottom hinges when they installed the doors in our other bathroom. The pictures say it all. Can't be fixed without ripping out the tile and replacing which is thousands of dollars worth of work and they were not nice this time. I guess at least they call themselves Budget glass, not Quality Glass so they can't be accused of false advertising. Needless to say, we won't be using them again. read more

Seeing I was anxious to get mirrors installed before a family party, I didn't bother getting other quotes. &&well I'm big on Yelp reviews, I saw the 5 stars and immediately knew they wouldn't disappoint, my predictions were on point. I want to start off by saying, I was probably one of those annoying customers because I missed them TWICE when they arrived to my house. (I did change cellphone providers the week I called them and unfortunately wasn't aware I had issues getting calls etc.. so not entirely my fault, but it definitely wasn't theres!) I felt horrible having them reroute their day back to me& although I was very apologetic, honestly I was mostly just embarrassed... because I also am in the service business and KNOW how valuable time is. Tony and his team just did a wall-to-wall shower glass install for us at our home in Seattle. I couldn't recommend them any more highly. (They were recommended to us by our neighbors.) His team was super respectful of our home, worked fast and efficiently, and did all-round outstanding work. We plumped for the ultra clear glass at his recommendation because of our dark green floor tile color and he was absolutely right. It does looks fantastic. The turnaround was pretty fast overall. Other glass companies had long delays until after the holidays, but it was only a few weeks from measure to install. He gave us a date far in advance that worked for our schedule and stuck to it with great updates on timing and expected arrival on the day. I really liked that they were respectful of our time. Pricing seemed really fair for what we got. Will definitely use again for our home and recommend to everyone! (Bonus points: our plumber nudged one of the glass panels when it was still curing and Tony even came back the next morning and redid his work. No questions asked.) read more

Giving them a 1 start for very poor initial impression when it comes to customer service. I contact them to arrange for a quote for a shower enclosure. Upon dialing their number, the operator or receptionist comes on the phone and asking me to hold for 1 minute and says she will get back to me. I waited about 5 minutes and felt they simply forgot about me. I tried to call their second number and again the operator answers saying can I put you on hold for 1 minute. Seems they simple like to put their potential customers on hold without any empathy to the customer having to wait. I would have been ok if they actually came back to me in the 1 minute time they said they would. It is just not acceptable to have your customers wait longer than you state you put them on hold for, let alone having us wait to begin with. read more

The experience I went through with this company was horrible. From the initial step things went wrong. I was given a 2 hour window of arrival to measure that was 1:00 to 3:00 PM. I received a phone call at 12:00 PM from the person that was coming to measure and asked when I would be home from the office. I told him that I could be home at 12:30. He got irritated as said he might have to go to next appointment. I reminded him that he was early. They waited and I was home at 12:30 PM. I asked them to look for failed windows because I was getting ready to list my house. They found 3 windows needing replacement. They sent me a quote and I gave them my deposit with a credit card. They then gave me a date for installation and told me that they would call me at 9:00 and give me a time. I waited till 1:00 PM without a call. I called them and they seem insensitive and unprepared to tell me when they would arrive. So I cancel the order and called my credit card company to stop payment. A few days later the owner called me and told me that he had placed a lien on my home because he had already purchased the glass panes. So I felt forced to complete the transaction. When they did finally show up with 3 windows, only 1 was ordered with correct measurements. They seem to be bewildered about how they measured wrong. The installer told me that would re-order and come back in a few weeks. I didn't hear anything and I called them only to have the owner tell me that they not want to fulfill the order and wanted to move on and that because I stopped payment on the initial order that he had placed a lien on my house that I was getting ready to sell. That the only way he would release would be to almost 3 times the amount with lien release fees. I had no choice but to that. They are the worst company to work with. read more

Called several glass companies, most didn't even bother to come out to measure, just quoted me a lot of money over the phone. For budget glass, they were out at my home the same day, and the guy Trace did all the measurements, and followed up with a very reasonable quote. A week later, he showed up again to put in the replacement Window. It was a quick job, they took all the precautions (masks etc.), and also cleaned up after themselves. Good job! These guys are absolutely wonderful - prompt, professional, kind, and do great work. We got multiple quotes before having them come fix our double hung, double pane window - one quote was for more than the cost of the window. Another group charged us, then made us wait 2 months and came out 3 times before they told us it couldn't be fixed. They told us that we had to buy a new window! I contacted the company to replace the glass in one panel of our sliding door. I was concerned during this time of Covid-19 if this was even going to be possible. I provided measurements when I called and was quickly given a fair and reasonable quote. The next day two reps came out to do professional measurements and confirmed the price. They also vacuumed the shards of glass on the outdoor steps which was greatly appreciated. I should also mention that they wore masks because of the virus which we were grateful for since both my husband and I are in an older age group. One week later the replacement glass was installed quickly and professionally. Budget Mirror & Glass is great and everyone we had contact with for this project was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. Should we have a need, we will definitely use their services again! Tl;dr - Horrific experience. No concept of customer service. You should only go with these people if you feel like you have the time to follow up with them for months and are okay being pushed around and insulted. Full story - We worked with Ed and his crony Joe of Joe Myers Construction. We needed to replace two old windows, one of which needed to be cut down (this is where Joe came in). Windows took nearly 3 months to come in, which was out of their control so no problem, but this gave plenty of time to plan for the install. I coordinated with both companies at least two weeks out from the install date in early December. The day before, I check in with Ed since there was no reminder or anything and Ed tells me they are not going to do the install due to scheduling issues (good thing I checked!). Two weeks later they get back to me that we're on the schedule for early January - got bumped by a month! That didn't happen because it snowed, fine. They tell me we're top of mind for scheduling, but they need drier weather. At the end of January, after more than plenty of dry days have passed, I follow up with them and Ed tells me they will install the following week. Nothing happens. They disappear. Another follow up from me and we set a date for February 15th, which comes and goes without any installation taking place. That night I emailed with a refund request. Guess what - the next morning they show up pretending it was February 16th that we had agreed on. I could have given Ed the benefit of the doubt, but not when he has a history of no shows. At that point I seriously wanted a refund because my patience with these guys was up and I couldn't trust their work when they treat customers like this. But of course Ed was now going to fight tooth and nail since these are custom windows and he'd have no use for them. That's when he threatened me with his attorney, as if I was causing all these delays. Which by the way he blamed all on the weather and covid, but the weather was bad only one of the set dates out of four and there was no mention of covid all along. Long story short, he kept threatening with his attorney and I didn't have time to deal with that, so we agreed on the install the following week, and sure enough they do a sloppy job - tore up all the trim inside when they knew we're not getting any interior work done (his crony Joe bailed on that one, but that's a separate story). No discount, apology or any sort of remorse for all of this. And to really end it with a punch, Ed's son was closing out the job and his last words were that we're a pain to work with. Of course it's much less painful to work with someone who has no expectations for the job to be completed and where you can stroll in whenever you want to do the job, if you even feel like it. I'm sure Ed is going to follow up here with his own version of the story, so have fun reading and comparing! Just don't hire them if you don't want a headache. read more

My compliments to Ed for quick turnaround when I needed to resurrect the use of my kids bathtub/shower due to upcoming guest homestay. He responded within a day with a very competitive quote and guaranteed job completion within 5 days for installation of a shower door assembly on existing tub. So I hired them and they were onsite in 4 days. Their shower door is a very high-quality semi-frameless design which looks fantastic.
