She told me she could have them made automatically, so I said Yes. What she didn't say was that they would be made on whatever day taxes were due and not the same date as my regular tax payment. She made regular tax payment but no estimated taxes. So I tried to call her office and never got an answer, this was before April 15. So I paid estimated taxes myself. So after I made a double estimated tax payment by check, these taxes were taken out April 15 or 16. I called her office after April 15 and she said she was on vacation (before tax date, really). I wanted to know companys name of who was taking out estimated taxes and wanted them to stop. Her reply was she had called them and they couldn't stop. Later in summer I went to Wells Fargo banker and she said this was unethical and not legal to not give me name of company deducting my money. I had to put in a stop payment order with the bank and was charged for this of course. I would say don't use her, because she lies or doesn't know what the law is. Also I tried to call her before stop payment order put in and again never answers phone.

Really I'm retired, not working, it should be easy; the girl agreed 20 minutes. I called every week, I was told they were done on Mar 12th but waiting for review. I am retired not working, what is to review? What level of accountant did my taxes? I kept calling, was told Dawn was out of town, no taxes to be processed until she returned. APRIL; tax time! Called and was told they were waiting on something, what could that be? Calling April 9th, was told Dawn had 100 customers to review and would do them over the weekend. April 14th called to see if done, just an answering machine now. Left message, that tomorrow was April 15th; I would be in to pick up my documents, please have them ready. Apr 15th 9:00am West Coast Accounting, 4 other very unhappy customers. I instructed the receptionist to please get my taxes, again was told they are in review. I requested a copy of the extension they filed without my consent, and my documents and upon opening the envelope found them untouched! The truth, they never attempted to process. This new owner Dawn is not reliable, the girls lie, no level of courtesy. The receptionist did not apologize or seem to care at all. Fail no star.

I left my tax stuff it took longer than it ever has with very bad communication. They kept telling me it was under review.Then a guy called to ask what one my 1099 was from(which he couldn't grasp either that wasn't from my current job but a different company that I am a brand partner) and once I cleared that up he said they were done and just had to be copied and someone from front would call the next day or 2. NOPE! A week goes by I call again and they tell me it under review by a senior accountant! So what whoever did my taxes wasn't competent! 2 1/2 weeks later they called said come get them and the charge was the same as what I had been paying even though I didn't take them anything for expenses like I normally do. Come to find out none of the previous accountants are still there it was bought out by some other company! We will not go back! Worst tax experience I have ever had!
