The nurse who is supposed to help my mom shower has been a no-show twice. They also won't answer their phone. Not happy with them at all.

We came in for our COVID19 vaccines and it was super easy, folks were so nice, and it appeared to be a safe and clean clinic!

The IV feeding tube stand and oxygen were delivered to our house on Thursday night by another service provider, and Coram stopped by Friday afternoon to drop off a bag of IV nutrition bags and a bag of mattress protectors. The Coram driver who stopped by Friday saw my sister (who lives in a neighboring town) getting out of her van in our driveway and simply handed her these 2 bags without asking if she lived here or anything ese. On Saturday night my Dad was discharged from the hospital and the home health nurse came to set up the feeding tube. He asked where the feeding tube food was. We looked through everything and called my sister, then called Coram. They said it was a cardboard case of food, and their records said it had been delivered. When we told them their records must be inaccurate because we never received it, Coram was stubborn and refused to believe us. The nurse talked to Coram Saturday night and was promised the food would be delivered Sunday morning. However, they did not deliver it until MONDAY afternoon, 48 hours after my dad had come home. When the nurse added the food to the feeding tube bag, only one bag was successful and the next bag got clogged. For both bags, the machine kept dinging every few minutes. The home health nurse could not unclog it. and said these feeding tube machines were notoriously unreliable. To reset the tubes my dad would have to go back to the ER. Why is it that home-health feeding tube machines are faulty while the hospital feeding tube machines function fine? How is it possible to provide services with such recklessness and disdain to consumers who are inherently under high stress? Outrageous. I'm so disappointed that my mom has had to endure such horrible service and attitudes during this tender period. No apologies were ever expressed by Coram.

His health is average for his age but is declining. Solstice Hospice is a locally owned company who is not centered around only making Big Bucks like most of the other institutional companies. I have been in Retail my entire life and I have n e v e r had such incredible service from the staff that takes care of my Dad. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and kind. We have a team who cares for Dad: We have CNA Care from a remarkable fellow named Vlad who helps Dad shower 2-3 days a week; A wonderful Social Worker, Tammy; Debbie, an RN of 40 years who knows more than most Doctors I know and her demeanor is stellar (& is so funny!); A non-denominational Chaplin who helps with the big unknowns; Get this, A Music Therapist! Dad has played Saxophone, Clarinet and Piano all his life. She plays the guitar and sings with perfect pitch all the old songs Dad & Mom used to dance to. And last but not least. An amazing woman who is a Foot Zone Therapist! She is a professional therapeutic foot zone practitioner who has been doing this for 18 years. You have, have, have to see it to believe it! Or should I say feel it. She helps Dad so much on an uplifting emotional, spiritual and physical level. Dad always asks, "Is this the day that my feet get Zoned?" He loves everyone who helps him as do I. If you are scouting for a genuine caring, sincere, and ethically run Hospice Company please give these wonderful people a call. All you need to do is have the patient's doctor provide a certificate indicating the areas of decline they are experiencing. Your loved ones deserve this kind of attention and care. Laurie Metcalf.

The people who run this organization are incredibly charitable and put so much effort into these dogs and cats. I recently visited and they had three dogs available. They were happily running around inside their enclosures outside under the shade of the tree. There were lots of other dog runs/kennels that looks much smaller, but also like they were no longer in use. There were not a lot of animals to choose from-but maybe that's because they all found homes or were in foster homes when we visited. Hopefully that's the case-and they are getting closer to their goal of No More Homeless Pets!

They truly are concerned about pets. I have so much positive to say about Rhonda and Second Chance…read morefor Homeless Pets. I've adopted three kittens from them. The kittens were always very well taken care of and you could tell that they came from quality foster homes. Very reasonable, adoption fees, spayed, and neutered and current on vaccinations. I've also had the pleasure of fostering kittens with Second Chance. The owner does what she says and supplies you with everything you need to take care of the animals. The commitments are not long and she is able to take the animals back as promised and on time. I recently was in there, and there was a woman trying to adopt a dog. It was obvious the woman did not have a home. The owner was not going to allow the woman to adopt the dog because she did not have a safe place for the dog to live. Although the woman was very upset, the owner was very professional and kind as she explained that she could not in good conscience adopt a pet out that didn't have a safe environment. percent she is concerned about the welfare of the animals. I will always refer people to them whether they're in the market to adopt an animal or if they're interested in fostering or volunteering there it's a great place with low overhead and a lot lot of love.!
