But once the work is finished, his attitude completely changes and he becomes very rude. He did not properly remove the dirt, just piled up stones, and you can still see the fabric underneath. The quality of work was terrible. This was one of the worst experiences we've had with a contractor. The person we dealt with was Ben, and based on our experience, I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone. Please be careful before hiring them.

Extremely disappointed in my services from Rycoe. I reached out to them about landscaping and Ryan came out to take a look at what needed to be done so he could give us a quote. I was very specific about what I needed done and it was listed in a breakdown on the invoice perfectly. It took a while for the guys to come out, but I waited patiently anticipating the final product. The end result came out great until weeds started popping up everywhere. My husband kicked the mulch and we both realized landscape paper was never placed under the mulch like it was talked about AND I PAID FOR. I reached out to Ryan in hopes this would get fixed, and he did respond to me stating that he would look into it and get back to me. It has been 8 months with no communication at all. I wanted to give this company the benefit of the doubt, but it feels like I got scammed. I had even originally asked if they could just use the landscape paper that I had bought since I already had it and I was told no. I paid for a product and service (that was very expensive) and did not get at ALL what I paid for. I am extremely disappointed and will never recommend this company to anyone.

After getting several estimated on getting my driveway repaved I decided on Dependable. Based on…read moretheir promptness and getting me a good detailed estimate on what would be done for the price. They come out and give a fair and detailed estimate of the job. Even called after a week to follow up because I had not yet made a decision. Once I decided and approved for them to do it is when i begin to have doubts. After almost 2 months of not hearing anything I called. The receptionist has no idea of the schedule and only offers she will leave a note and they will call back. The problem is I never got a call and several days later have to follow up. I was finally called and scheduled a month out further. After a couple days in the morning the crew knocked on my door and said they were in the area and could do the first part now. I said great and was very happy with having it done. Contract said to wait a week before parking the binder coat so to be sure we stayed off it for 4 weeks to be sure. Since then pieces of blacktop have been coming up and leaving marks where the tires were. We are careful not to twist the wheel or dig up the pavement but for some reason I am stomping chunks dug up back in to keep it together. The final coat was scheduled the following year however I feel by then after the winter it will be damaged much more by the time the final coat is done. Currently I have called them. Told by the receptionist the same story that she would pass them a not and he would call. A week goes by with no call so I call again. She said she would personally talk with him at the end of the day and he would call. That was four days ago and nothing. I will be following up again but this seems to be a pattern once you have signed up. At least in my particular circumstance. All I want is to find out If I can get the final coat done this year before winter as I fear the binder will not hold up through next year. This may be an isolated insolent but in my case I feel my calls have been ignored and Right now "Dependable" doesn't come to mind. I have never submitted a report like this until now but seems the only way to get some attention to this matter.

June 16 I had 8 yards of "screened topsoil" Delivered for $240.00. The driver grabbed a sample out…read moreof the back of his truck that appeared to be good topsoil. He then dumped in in my driveway and soon after I began getting it to where it needed to be. As I was digging into it I noticed some rocks and pebbles. I brushed it off and moved the whole 8 yards next to my driveway and also around my property to level off low spots. It was not till the " topsoil" dried that I noticed it was more sand and stone then topsoil. Even then I still tried to make it work. I spent around $100 in seed alone, but seeing as it was more of a sand type consistency it would just blow off or wash away. We are now 2 months post delivery and if the wind blows it's like a little dust storm. When it rains it washes away most of the loose sand/dirt and I am left with mostly stone. I reached out to the company Aug 5 2020 with no response and then I reached out again Aug 19 2020 with no response and sent pictures both time. I was then blocked from Fb messages so I then called. I was instantly told that he did not deliver what he seen in the pictures. I am a disabled combat veteran with multiple bulging desks, dislocating shoulders, and even missing my right leg below the knee. I can assure you all the dirt that came to my house and that was spread out was from the single 8 yard load that was delivered June 16 2020. The final response from his was you took it so have a good day. They were vary deceiving because it was a wet load so it make it look like good Quality, but all around my house says it's not. Do not use this company! After looking more I to some reviews on FB you can see other people get the same response!

I have NEVER HAD SUCH A PROFESSIONAL JOB DONE as Mid-State Sealcoating did for me today. My driveway is somewhat difficult with a brick wall along one side. The team showed up, listened to my concerns and went over every crack & crevice with me. They then put hot tar down into & along every single crack/crevice. They then trimmed both sides of the grass-line followed by high powered blowing the driveway off. Once 100 % properly prepaired, they hand applied a superior seal-coating over the entire double wide driveway. I can't tell you how impressed I am with the end result. They are priced right up there with the high school kids with a bucket of tar, but the job was SUPERIOR.
