I was in Santa Fe from out of town and needed to do 4-5 hours of work uninterrupted. Regus seemed…read moreto be the only coworking facility where I could pay for a day pass (I think it actually charged by the hour, $37 for 5 hours). It wasn't that straightforward to book online. When I tried to book on my phone it kept trying to put me down for a meeting room reservation. I eventually had to make the booking on a laptop. The Regus space is on the second floor of the building that houses the Santa Fe New Mexican newspaper offices. It was simple to check in. I got assigned a desk in an empty room with 4 desks. No one else used the space while I was there and I could keep the door shut. That was very good, since there was a lot of stuff going on -- people have offices here that they use for client consultations, and in the shared areas they had super annoying video game music playing. There's complimentary coffee and a bathroom shared with the other offices in the building. If you want snacks you should bring your own.

ONCE YOU TYPE YOUR NAME ON ANY EMAIL YOU ARE TRAPPED. I lost a thousand dollars to these people . I don't even have keys to an office . I never even stepped foot into the building. and I was getting late charges and a 400.00 dollar a month for rent within the first two week period I was getting emails saying that I owed 1500.00 dollars. Listen to the first thing Zachary Clark says " IF YOU HAVE BILLING PROBLEMS OR ANY OTHER PROBLEMS DON'T COME TO ME I JUST GET YOU TO SIGN UP AND GET ME MY MONEY FOR BAMBOOZLING YOU". Be careful this is not a joke . I am going through so much grief . I am in contact with the better business bureau and I am in contact with the Attorney General . THIS IS A SCAM . You will suffer with this office building. The managers of the Santa Fe building are young girls who are not qualified to run a office . BEWARE

Many of those working there focus on altruistic endeavors. The CCO Lisa is great. She's very understanding and affable. She wants you to feel comfortable there. The space is clean. The working desks are roomy; there's a nice variety of desks, lounge areas, and private rooms. The ground floor maintains the essence of the old library structure at the original Albuquerque High School with high ceilings. Most of the buildings there are residential. Because this was an old school, there's a lovely courtyard to take breaks or work. The basement level is more cozy and modern and brightly lit. Perfect for an artist like me. Hopefully, there's a spot where you can spread out more if you have an easel. I love the vast open space and being around others, though I enjoyed the times when no one was there. Overall, FatPipe is on the quieter side. Everyone keeps their phones silent mode. Of course, you will hear collaborating and Zoom calls, but it's not loud. The carpeting helps with that. They have a weekly yoga session to start your day and 1 Million Cups. Lisa brings speakers in regularly. As an artist, I love that FatPipe is open 24/7 for monthly members and beyond.

We were given a very nice tour of the facility. I can see that it is a work in progress and believe it is going to be an extremely great place for those who need space. they provide private offices for rent, big rooms for classes or lectures, and small meeting rooms. I already have an idea how I can utilize the space. There are some fantastic features from when the place was built over a 100 years ago. Let's See this place grow.

Don't assume just because it makes perfect sense to you, that the other 99% of us dense folks will know exactly what you meant. And, no, this business has absolutely nothing to do with fowl of any kind that I can discern. It is actually a great Co-Working Space. I stopped in to Free Range for an event that was happening there. While I was there, I asked to have a tour of the space. They were surprised, but very accommodating. I was surprised at how large a space it is and how many different options to work, collaborate and hold meetings of different sizes are available. Private office spaces. Conference rooms and large meeting rooms. Bright and airy spaces. Not cramped / swished together spaces that I have seen in some co-working spaces. If you are looking for an every-now-and-then space, or a more permanent "office" space, check out Free Range. Ask for a tour. They have plenty of parking . . . .and even a 2nd location in Nob Hill, if this location just west of the University doesn't work for you. Why did I only give them four stars? Well, because I haven't actually worked there . . .yet. But, when and if I need a co-working space, this will definitely be my go-to option.
