I had a very disappointing experience with StretchLab Granada Hills…read more I work five days a week and only have two days off, so I really value my time. On the day of my appointment, I accidentally overslept but made an effort to reach out before my scheduled time. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any response. When I later called in, the manager was immediately rude and dismissive. Instead of showing any understanding, she focused almost entirely on finances stating that my card would be charged due to a late cancellation. She went on to lecture me and even told me that my husband and I would no longer be able to receive stretches at the same time, which felt unnecessary and punitive. As someone with over 20 years in customer service, I calmly expressed that her tone felt rude and insensitive. Clients coming into a stretch lab are often already dealing with pain or stress, and the interaction should reflect care and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. The situation escalated further when she said she would issue a refund. When I tried to clarify that I did not want a refund and simply wanted to resolve the situation, she hung up on me. That was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. This entire experience left me feeling stressed, disrespected, and uncomfortable. I would appreciate it if the owner or someone in upper management would reach out to address this situation. Customer service matters and this was far below standard.

Staff is usually friendly and welcoming and I haven't encountered any serious issues here. One thing I will note is that the paper towels and spray to wipe down the equipment isn't always fully stocked at every station, which just means you might have to look around a bit before you can clean the machines you use. Other than that, I have no complaints as PF Granada Hills has been very comfortable and kind to me as a plus-sized gym goer.

Uncomfortable right from the start…read more Great customer service starts with how your payments and billing are handled and this company misses the mark from the start. My membership was $15 monthly per the contract. I immediately began to be billed $35. At first, it came in two separate charges, one $15, and the other $20. After at which point, they got comfortable and just regularly billed $35. I contacted the location for assistance and Eric answered the phone. Eric apparently is the location manager. As a manager, he could use a little more training on how to problem solve. He was "friendly" enough in his tone, he was not rude but he also talked at you, instead of with you. He gave me an opportunity to explain what the issue was but he immediately went in to overdrive explaining the why's even though some of what he was saying was irrelevant to my original ask. When I pointed this out, he stated " I know, that's what I'm trying to explain to you". Again, very friendly, but not very helpful. As managers, you're not there to simply answer questions, you're there to help. You're there to assist. You're there to resolve. After feeling not heard through out this whole interaction that took less than 5 minutes, I decided to cancel my membership. BEWARE! They will make a regular practice of billing you a late fee. It will be billed as a separate charge at first but if you don't catch it, they'll make a regulate habit of just charging you a larger amount. I've never heard of a late charge that was built in to the billing. And the reason I was given was that it was the "type" of account I was using. For context, I used my Varo account, which has a legit routing and account number. It's crazy isht like this is the reason why I never provide my Chase info. What is the issue with the "type" of account? The charges posted and cleared. They clearly don't have an issue receiving the payments? Posted and cleared means you processed the payment and it cleared! Why was I being billed a late fee for payments that they received? This isn't me going in to pay late, these are electronic payments being processed on the agreed upon date. Be very careful when signing up. If they can't get their billing right, they'll won't get anything else right either.

Even though there's another studio closer to home, I happily drive farther because the experience here is worth it. They're newer and still growing, but I've never felt unwelcome or disappointed. I've taken classes with almost every instructor, and each brings something different while still delivering a challenging, effective workout. If you're new, show up early, introduce yourself, and communicate any injuries -- they truly want you to succeed. They also provide clean towels to use during your workout to help you stay dry and eucalyptus face towels at the end of each class are such a thoughtful touch. What really sets this studio apart is the community. From holiday decorations and small celebrations to warm greetings when you walk in, it truly feels like home. I often stay after class just to chat with the instructors or owner. If you're looking for a supportive, motivating Lagree studio, this is it!

I noticed there was still slots opened for free classes at the end of the week so I booked for another one.
