The coaches were knowledgeable, encouraging, and helped him improve his skills while making the experience fun. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend this camp to any young soccer player.

I felt this camp was just a cash grab piggybacking on the brand name of Real Madrid. Lines of parents trying to figure out which station to check in at, no one from the team taking charge to corral everyone, someone simply shouted vague instructions, and everyone was confused . When I went to get clarity, one of the guys said "I'm just a photographer!" and held up his hands... talk about not being a team player. When I asked for a receipt via email for my tax records, they sent me a PayPal receipt that did not even say the name Real Madrid camp nor Euro Soccer-- it looked like a generic receipt without any identifying marks, . So I had to I asked again for a formal invoice with EIN. This may seem like a minor inconvenience, but says something about how there is not a level of prep/readiness or organization behind the scenes. This is also camp where kids need to be self starters and take initiative . if your child is on the shy side and does not take proactive steps, this may not be the camp for them. The week at the camp was extremely hot in the sun, with no shade, except for some tents. My child said he was not briefed on safety measures and overheating, I felt that the coaches should have briefed everyone in advance that if they feel too hot, they should take a break. They kept pushing my son into goalkeeping and he did not want to do it, but he did not feel empowered to say no as they simply instruct the kids to go to those positions and don't have the time to ask them their preferences, or get to know them. It is a one week camp after all so there is a very high camper to counselor ratio and very little personalization. They do not know the campers individually, but I don't fault them for this--There are simply just too, too many kids. Combined with the crazy traffic at getting to UCLA, this just didn't feel like what my child needed to improve his skills. Again, this is my opinion only-- it felt impersonal. other people may feel differently.

Before starting the academy our son didn't really understand the fundamentals of soccer. He started playing AYSO and mainly played goalie because he didn't understand the game. By working with Coach Bryan, my son has become much better all around- such as running as a forward and understanding how to attack and split defenders, understanding the fundamentals, how to pass power shots, how to use the inside of his foot properly, when to use different skills, learning to never to kick with the toes, how to control a soccer ball and run with it, understanding the triangle offense scheme, when to shoot low at a goal, taking corner shots and so many more. My wife and I can see a huge overall improvement in his overall skills set and knowledge of the game all of the different fundamentals, but also his confidence as well. This has been such a wonderful experience and we highly recommend Coach Bryan and his academy. Thanks Coach Bryan!

She started off loving soccer and the last season she played the league put 8 and 9 year old girls against 10 and 11 year old girls on club teams which took all confidence away from my daughter making her not want to keep playing. I coached for all three seasons and watching the team cry after games our last season was one of the most difficult experience I've ever gone through. No matter how hard we practiced my players did not have a chance against the much bigger players on the other teams. Not to mention club teams coaches are paid coaches and JUSA coaches are all volunteers so I am not sure why they organized that season the way that they did. I would recommend trying any other league besides JUSA if you want your child to love soccer.

My son has been playing soccer with them for three years just because his coach was super good. This season the coach decided not to coach so I started to see how bad JUSA is. My son started to play since he was four years old and I worked so hard with him till he reached this advanced level. For this season, they put my son with a team that playing for the first time and a coach that coaching for the first time. When I contacted them and told them this is not my son level. The directors of Yorba linda Sheri and Steve kept giving me their beliefs about how good that my child is the only one playing good in the team. Also, they lied about saying the team should be mixed of new and old players and that's not TRUE. My son's team are all new players. And just today, I went to their place because THEY NEVER EVER PICK THEIR PHONE UP WHEN YOU CALL, I met Paul, the president . And he didn't show any willing to help and you know what he told me,,,,,, YOU CAN FIND ANOTHER ORGANIZATION TO REGISTER YOUR KID WITH, I CAN'T DO ANYTHING FOR U. He was so RUDE. People be aware from this organization, unless you know a good coach that can nab your kids. Otherwise, they will just put kids randomly without ANY EVALUATION FOR YOUR KID LEVEL. And all your hard work and money will go for nothing. Also take a look at the pics I attached about how these people reply to you when u ask them something.
