Both coaches are not just good good players and coaches but also they are very professional, and patient with the boys. We tried the group lessons before that, which is cheaper, but they didn't go any where. Group lessons coaches hardly have time to focus on the individual player. They kids game have improved and as long as the kids still like to come and play with Mike and Barbara, I will continue bringing them. We are happy customers. I have actually started taking lessons myself with both coaches as time permits, I played some Tennis in my younger years but with no formal training. Let me tell you that my game has improved, they managed to correct many of my bad habits and I now started to enjoy the game more. One last note, it takes years to play Tennis good, and takes patience and persistence to master it. As my son improved he was matched up with players either slightly above or at his level to challenge him and give him practice in areas that he needed improvement. Before starting the academy our son didn't really understand the fundamentals of soccer. He started playing AYSO and mainly played goalie because he didn't understand the game. By working with Coach Bryan, my son has become much better all around- such as running as a forward and understanding how to attack and split defenders, understanding the fundamentals, how to pass power shots, how to use the inside of his foot properly, when to use different skills, learning to never to kick with the toes, how to control a soccer ball and run with it, understanding the triangle offense scheme, when to shoot low at a goal, taking corner shots and so many more. My wife and I can see a huge overall improvement in his overall skills set and knowledge of the game all of the different fundamentals, but also his confidence as well. The city recently added four pickleball courts by converting one of the three tennis courts. The…read morepickleball courts are very popular and are in use most of the day. If you are lucky, you will be able to play pickleball. Also there is a nightly gathering of dogs and their owners to meet, play, and converse. The restrooms are frequently used by working people, e.g. postmen, deliverymen, gardeners, etc...Behind the park is a horse trail. Nice little park!

They recently changed the rules so that you need a reservation to play get in the afternoon and the city also holds classes on the afternoon all to discourage a crowd. These courts were very popular before these new rules were implemented. People still play here some mornings. The courts are a little closer to each other so you have to BSs careful about not crashing into people in neighboring courts and hitting ATPs is a bit more difficult. The direction of the courts is so that the sunlight can be really in your face. The overhead lights at night are pretty awesome. Too bad you can't play at night easily any more.
