Even though it is an outlet mall, I noticed the items I got were almost the same prices online except a few dollars less. Being the largest mall in Virginia and one level , it was hard to navigate and I couldn't find signs leading to Earthbound. I got lost twice. I plan to visit this place again when it is not so crowded in the future. The service we received in the stores we browsed in were good and professional. We found a good bargain for a sturdy metal carry on luggage with wheels for $40. I loved the clothes I wanted online yet was never able to get until recently.

11.7.24 This mall…read morereminds me of Arundel Mills Mall located in Hanover, MD. They have several neighborhoods like Arundel. The only difference is this outlet mall has Costco and JC Penney. I was surprised to see the concourse throughout the mall wasn't crowded, yet the parking lots were packed. I had to circle several times to find a spot. The stores I visited had fairly light traffic. I came to this mall while in VA as I wanted to window shop at Bloomingdale's Outlet and Discount Designer Outlet. Sadly, both retailers left me disappointed. Inventory wasn't fashionable or high-end luxury brands that I was expecting. I am frugal and likely wouldn't have bought anything, but would have enjoyed window shopping. To make my experience worse, traffic coming home to Howard County was god-awful and I was reminded why I hate going to VA. A wasted trip of my time coming to this mall when I could have gone to Arundel only eleven minutes away from me.

The material didn't feel as good as the shirt I found at Montgomery Mall. Still the guy I spoke the was cool, there wasn't anything I needed at the time. The lines weren't long, but the contact between clientele and associates at the checkout stations looked like the beginning of the Coronavirus days. I am glad this store is still taking the proper precautions.

I usually avoid them because the merchandise is either crappy or the same prices you find in the regular stores. I have only been to this store one time but the selection was excellent and I found some great deals. And cheaper than Sports Authority! The staff was friendly, outgoing, and very helpful. That gives them an extra star.

I don't generally shop at Bloomingdale's but that would be my assumption. Sadly, I didn't find the inventory for the women's apparel to be my style. I was surprised to see labels for junior apparel (Steve Madden and Derek Heart) that you would find at Ross or TJ Maxx. They did have designer sunnies and limited shoe wear. I had high expectations of fun window shopping, but left feeling disappointed. I made a special trip for nothing as I wanted to check out this store.

Today's visit felt a little different though as soon as I opened the doors it felt clean like operating room sterile type clean which I appreciated! However it also felt very sparse the aisles and racks that are usually over flowing with products were very neat and very limited! I couldn't tell if they were limited due to low inventory or if they were limited for COVID reasons? Jury is still out on that one! During the check out portion of my visit there were bottles of hand sanitizer everywhere! The employees sprayed the counters down in between each transaction! Not only were the employees were mask but they had a barrier of plexiglass to help keep them safe! Overall I appreciated the measures the store took to keep its employees and customers safe. I would've have enjoyed more inventory to choose from though!

We were rummaging through the shelves and tables for dress shirts in the right size. None to be found. I asked a sales associate where the shirt size would be and she pointed to a small area. We checked each bin for shirts and again no size to be found. Like magic we were greeted by Vernelle G. and she inquired if we needed assistance in finding a size and that she would be able to check the back stock too. Wonderful! Vernelle is a sales professional and very helpful. There were no available size in the stock room but at least she checked. Vernelle was unstoppable and checked everywhere on the floor to find the right style and size we were looking for. Luckily the dress shirts were found. We really appreciated her assistance which made for a great shopping experience. Vernelle is not your ordinary SA she is the store manager. Thank you very much Vernelle!

As I'm waiting in the checkout line I see my friend at the register waiting to purchase her items and all of a sudden she walks away without her purchase and I hear the chairs say "well that's your problem" Not sure what had happened I was next in line and saw the cashier and dressing room lady talking complete shit and pointing at my friend so at that point I excused myself from the line and walked out. Never in my life have I witnessed such horrendous customer service and they should be ashamed of their behaviors.

Fifty to sixty percent off prior seasonal autumn apparel right now, like backpacks, pullovers, vests, etc. that are displayed up front. Pretty clean environment and organized displays of product even when it gets busy during the weekdays. I have yet to visit the mall on a weekend. It's been years since I had done that.

I made it halfway to the other end of the mall before I realized that I was the one setting off the anti theft system in other stores lol. Check the pockets post purchase!

He did this on his own without prompting. Nice touch. My purse arrived encased in plastic . It's an outlet so the bag was heavily discounted. The price wasn't listed at first, but the associate looked it up on the computer and the price he estimated to its actual cost was only a $10 difference so I couldn't leave it behind. Parking was free and easy in the lot.

What I have found is if you ever receive the surprise emails from Kate Spade and then take a chance and come into the store, the prices may be cheaper here in the store than on the actual email. This was the case on a particular visit because the store was offering an additional discount off the already discounted price which in turn made it even cheaper. The store is always clean and almost ocd organized so finding what you do and don not need is very easy. You never have to look far for assistance as there is an associate at every turn to give assistance and even tell you the actual rice you would end up paying. Do yourself a favor and visit the very back of the store, pre fitting room because there is a shelving unit that has items that have additional mark down on them. The trick is if you do purchase something from this super secret mark down section, you only have 14 days to return it, which is not always disclosed at checkout. Experience taught me that! That's the only real con, everything is a pro for sure!
