I had just double checked it closed at 6 so we walked up to and the door was locked. There was a young girl sitting in the dark, I motioned to her and pointed to the sign on the door and my watch. She saw us but then wouldn't make eye contact, grabbed her stuff and walked to the back of the store completely ignoring us! My daughter was so sad because she had been waiting all week to go. I'm so disappointed in the lack of customer service the girl working gave. It was bad enough she had turned the lights off and locked the door 15 mins early but then when she saw me and I tried to get her to open the door she completely ignored me! So rude!

The young lady helping us was very patient and answered all of our questions. She was the only person running the store on Saturday morning as traffic kept coming in. However, we got all the helped we needed. Also, the store is super clean inside. They had a great selection of things. You can even order on their website which makes it convenient. I also am failing to understand how a shop has this poor of customer support. Not responding to emails or calls for 8 days is absurd. Extremely unprofessional.

It (like all the others) was a "model" bra......meaning that MANY women had tried it on before & it was stretched out quite a bit. When she brought in the same bra (a Medium pull-over bra) in a different color that hadn't been tried on by other women, I couldn't even get it over my head. That shows how badly stretched out the 1st "M" was. Very disappointing. No precise sizing -- just a MEDIUM. What makes this place different than Dillards or JC Penny? Nothing (as far as I can tell). In case you aren't familiar this is a beach and surfer store with several locations around Hampton roads. They sell name brands like Vox and Roxy and have fashionable beach wear as well as surf wear and bathing suits. Shoes and surfboard gear. Sunglasses. Etc. If you're in the market for any of those things this spot in Red Mill commons is easier to access with more parking than the oceanfront ones.

i was in this surf shop to buy cold weather hood and booties and the men and women could not be…read morenicer1 i mentioned i saw a man surf sailing in frount of my hotel and it was a joy to behold so they mentioned there boss was out there that day and that was probably him. this was years ago in like 2024 when a room had to be painted and i am allergic to paint/ laytex. as a military vet i recomed this shop for the calm and down home good customer service. there was a super nice gentalman theee who was local and he informed me the largest East cost waves were on Long Island New Yotk by/ in Montauk NY . I would say in my travels i felt very welcome and will return soon in 2025...a refreshing take on retail gret people even on off seson of April! love to them all..
