Worst experience ever: visited the store last week to purchase items that were in the sales flyer. Two of the items weren't even on the shelf, of the three items I purchased, two had the wrong price in the system (which the employee had to have help fixing), and the employees had no idea where to find things. When I was sent to pickup, no one even appeared to help me. A visit that should have taken me 15-20 minutes in/out took 50! Will never go to this store again. Ever! read more

Noted Bird Seed advertised on their website. Called the store to insure they had stock on hand. They verified the sale price before I left home. I drove a distance to the store immediately. Got to the store to find no stock on hand with the information that none of their stores had stock. There was no apology for their error. I was told that the website is often wrong and that they were training new employees who did not have access to the SKU numbers of their products. I left very peeved and committed to crossing Coastal Farm off my list of potential vendors. What ever happened to taking responsibility for their error? read more

All good once again. I needed a new warm coat for outside work so I went to Coastal Farm Supply. They feature Carhart products of course and there were lots of choices to look at. I spent about 40 minutes winnowing down my selection. I paid a pretty penny but this will be the last outdoor work coat I will ever buy if I take care of it. I noticed there were an abundance of empty shelves and racks in the clothing section but it looked as if there were employees working hard stocking inventory. Coastal has a huge inventory of just about everything you can think of. I also buy my compressed bales of straw there. I have not been disappointed yet. read more

Today, 10/13/2022, I had to purchase several items regarding a woodstove. I'd had my husband send me pictures, SKUs and all possible information I would need to provide so that I bought the right items as we live over an hour away. With gas being nearly $6 per gallon for the real stuff, not "gasohol", it would be very expensive if I came downriver without a detailed list. When I arrived, the back section of the store was pretty dead but it was around 9:20am, so that's fine. I searched for and easily located three (3) items but still couldn't find the rest of the list. I walked to the front and one of the two nice ladies called for "Ryan" to assist me. I walked back to the Hearth section and for the next 20 minutes, this poor guy tried to find everything I needed. He took me into the "back" of the store and he found several things but couldn't locate one item which his system said they'd received in late September. He tried SO hard to fulfill my order after discovering that I'd driven so far. I was out in the parking lot and putting the items I was able to buy in the trunk of my puddle jumper when Ryan showed up. He'd found the last thing I needed and this poor guy had RUN from the back of the store out to the parking lot in a hurry to try to catch up to me before I'd left! THAT, my friends, is EXCELLENT customer service! When I'd finally arrived home later at 4:00pm, I called the store five (5) separate times (360-424-1918) to speak with the store manager to advise and thank them. Unfortunately, I repeatedly heard, "RING, RING, RING, Please hold the line while we try to connect you." This would repeat three times until the automated voice would say, " The number you have dialed is not answering. Please try later." This message would repeat three times before terminating the call. I'll do my best to follow up but I hope they see this review. read more

I have been a Skagit County resident all of my life and there has always been a lack of good places that carry the things that I like Coastal has the latest Miss Me, Rock Revival and Silver Jeans! We love the Carhartt selection but I have to say that the service is not good. They spend more time following you around than being of use. read more

This is the only location of Coastal Farm & Ranch that I've been to and a grand location it is. I believe it's an old Walmart location. The parking lot is huge (there's never a problem parking a trailer here) and the store itself is enormous. They carry just an exhaustive inventory of livestock related products, men's women's and children's clothing, hardware, tools, welding and automotive equipment, farm equipment, tack, feed and supplements, cowboy boots, work boots, Muck and Bogs boots, fireplaces, fencing, dog houses, buckets, gardening supplies, rubber flooring, seasonal items ... and more. Well today was national pet rescue. Over 100 dogs rescued from Texas. Well the camera crews are making a documentary of this wonderful event. Families were told to gather for the 20 pets being picked up in Skagit county at Costal this morning at 8:00am. The parking lot is huge and almost empty. Pet LLC. Was directed to leave the parking lot. Hhhhmmm. Free goodwill advertisement is apparently something Costal wants no part of. I can speak for the volunteers and adopters... none of us will ever patronize Costal in the future. And we will, in a grass-rooted way suggest others do the same. read more

We purchased a new gun safe from these people. When we bought the safe, they stated that it would be delivered and set up as part of the purchase price. First, we had to bug them constantly to ever get it delivered. Finally, 5 weeks later they said that they would deliver on Friday morning. Finally at 5:30 on Friday afternoon, they sent out one guy (with the safe weighing about 650 pounds) on a flat bed truck and the guy had a manual palette lift. The driver flatly stated that he didn't think he could get the safe up our driveway and that he would not enter the house to set it up correctly. He finally dumped it off in the garage and I had call my son's to move the safe in the house and set it up correctly. When we removed the outer box, we discovered that they had delivered the scratched up floor model without notifying us and charged full price for it. Do yourself a favor and go to Lowe's or other reputable place where they will give you a new safe and set it up correctly. These guys are a 2nd rate, fly by night organization. Too bad I had to give them a star. Last item I will ever purchase from them! read more

To begin with, I have bought numerous amount of things from this location, giving them the benefit of the doubt every single time for years. However, Today was the last string! l I walked in to buy some toys for my kiddo, also decided to buy some ammo. I walked up to one of their employees asking them if I could buy 1000 rounds of .223. The employee recommended a few options of their 20 round boxes, when I stated that I needed 1000 rounds. " The pack of 1000 rounds is $379, sir." I said yes I am aware of that can I please get it? And the employee said that "he could not sell me that pack" because he had to, "dig it out from the back"... apparently he was super busy and didn't want to do it even though There were no customers in line and it was in the morning. No rush anywhere, yet he refused to "go to the back of the warehouse" to get me the 1000 round pack. I ended up placing all of my kids toys back on the shelf and walking out of the store. Also, I have been delivering to this company for over four years,And every single time I come out here there's only one or two guys operating on a forklift extremely slow. They have been different people quite often, but It takes me about 2 to 3 hours to get unloaded, because they choose to go take care of a customer first rather than get a truck unloaded and out of there as quickly as possible... hence the reason some of the reviews on here reflect their poor time estimate of when Customers receive their product late. Believe me when I say that it is a lot easier to get a semi truck out-of-the-way as quickly as possible with two forklifts rather than take care of 10 customers, hold up the truck driver for over two hours! The product that the customer needs is on our truck. The more trucks you guys get unloaded as fast as possible the more product you can sell. It's very simple Sometimes I would walk back into the warehouse and see that employees are just wandering around doing nonessential things, when they could be helping customers inside or helping the trucks get unloaded. It takes so much effort to get someone on another forklift to get them to unload a truck that takes no more than 15 minutes. So when a truck driver sticks around at their location for over two hours, it results in losing the next load or possibly not making it home the same day. And that's happened to me before! So delivery drivers, prepare to spend a good portion of your morning at this location unless this is addressed soon. read more

My wife bought me a pair of shoes that were on sale but when she got home I saw they charged her the regular price,she went back and showed them the receipt but they would not refund the $20 she was overcharged,I e-mailed the store and was told they would refund the money but when my wife went in she was told I needed to come in for the refund even though she was the one who bought the shoes,when I went in for the refund I was treated very rudely and told the reason I needed to come in for the refund is because the manager wanted to tell me I was an a**hole and I never did get the refund. I will never go to that store again,too bad for them since I spend lots of $$$ on farm supplies every year. read more

We are constantly coming here for a wide variety of items such as clothing and also Farm equipment and it's so convenient that they have everything there! My experience in store was very nice. Employees were very helpful. The downfall came with the delivery service. Scheduled delivery was 11:30 the next day. Waited until 2 P.M until I called to check on my delivery. I was told it was on the truck, sorry for the delay. Waited till 4 P.M to call back. I was told that my purchase was never on the delivery truck and that the delivery man would deliver it as soon as he was off his break within the hour. Fast forward to 6 P.M and my order still isn't on the truck and won't be delivered for over an hour. Terrible communication between the employees and management . I spent nearly $500 dollars for some of the worst customer service I've ever received. Management said my $65 delivery fee would be refunded. Got a call back saying it couldn't be refunded from my credit card. Really? Since when is that impossible?! It's been done before! But! I could get a $65 gift card! Why the hell would I want to come back and get treated this way again?! I'll drive in and take my cash elsewhere. read more

This store has the worst return/exchange policy i have every seen from a business. I purchased a pair of boots around the 15th of December for a xmas gift. The boots were around 115$ They were out of the right size so i got a different pair thinking they may fit and if not the gift recipient could just exchange them after xmas for the correct size. BOY WAS I WRONG!! They took the boots in around the 1st of January with a gift receipt, and was told they would have the size in within two weeks and would issue a gift card for the boots so they could just come in with the gift card and get the correct size. Two weeks later they still didnt have the correct size boots (size 8 pretty standard size) so they asked if i could take the gift card in and talk to someone and just get the money and go buy the boots somewhere else. I was happy to accommodate. I went in and was told it would take them two weeks to get the boots in. I said i would rather just have the money so i could go else where and purchase them. I was speaking with two managers. Neither of them had the "authority" to issue a cash refund. They called whoever has the "authority" and told me they were off until Monday. I spend at least 500$ at this store a year buying work boots, carhartt clothes, pet things, and lawn and garden supplies. I would think its not that big of a deal to refund a customers money after a month of them trying to exchange a product but apparently not.
