Derek did an excellent job communicating, walking us through each step, being transparent about costs and expectations, and ensuring we were satisfied with our choices. I was amazed at his in depth documentation listing individual part costs and labor; it made me feel empowered to know exactly how the project funds were being spent. My favorite part is he flat out told us when he didn't agree with us on any choice, which I really respected because he truly is a master in his field. We used to have serious water seepage issues in our basement during period of heavy rain before the basement was finished. During the finishing, we got to see his work in action as moisture would literally be pushed away from our basement cement blocks. Since the work, we have NEVER had water seepage even during periods when our dry well and patio would flood (which has nothing to do with this basement project). No project is without its bumps; we did have some issues with some subcontract work but Derek took care of that too and really kept on top things taking ownership of the project end to end as an exceptional general contractor would. This project ended up costing us about twice our initial budget forecast but that was our choice, not because of any misunderstanding. We were so satisfied with the work and the process that we couldn't help but splurge and take further advantage of the quality workmanship. We even considered having our wooded deck redone but we were so far off budget that we decided to defer this work for the future (tbd). This guy went so far to help us with getting a town variance and showed up to the court hearing to coach us! It's now two years later and we really couldn't be more pleased. We know who we will call for our next project(s) once we are ready for it.

Robert is incredibly unprofessional and will not fix failed work. I reached out to Robert to repair a piece of siding on my house. I sent detailed pictures and he agreed to the job. He was having difficulties with the job and managed to get the siding on, but admitted it may fall down. He said if it does, he'd come back free of charge to guarantee his work. We discussed options to remedy the siding and I asked if he could just nail the singular piece back on if it cannot lock on. He said he'd rather redo the first row and gave me a price. We agreed and he proceeded to cancel 5 appointments with me over the course of 2 weeks. After those 5 cancellations, I asked if we could set a guarantee date/time and that my schedule is very flexible - whatever works for him. He then proceeded to say that he needed +$400 additional to our agreed upon price to do the job out of the blue. Due to the continued cancellations and out-of-the-blue price hike, I politely asked for a refund on my initial services (since the original job failed within 12 days). He then called me to yell and scream at me over the phone because I asked for a refund and hung up on me. Robert continued texting me, in a hostile tone, claiming I deceived him; however, I reinformed him that I sent detailed pictures of the job and he also saw the job in person prior to any work being performed. I also had to remind Robert that we had a conversation about different prices for different amounts of rows to be replaced. He gave me a price to replace just the top row that I agreed to, changing the price after canceling 5 times is unprofessional and then to berate his customer afterward is flat out wrong. I strongly advise everyone to avoid business with Robert. Important update: Robert has been calling me non-stop and using explicit language towards me and my wife. He is extremely hostile, and I had to call the police on him.

Two technicians arrived and immediately began the removal process without explaining the scope of work or providing any estimate or pricing upfront. The service itself took approximately 30 minutes, after which we were presented with an unexpectedly high bill. Given the lack of prior communication, we felt pressured into paying for a service we had not agreed to at that price. While we are grateful that the raccoons were removed, the job felt incomplete. No cleaning or sanitization was performed, leaving us to address contamination concerns on both our main floor and back deck ourselves--adding further time and expense. Additionally, we were told this was the only service of its kind in our area, which we know not to be the case. Overall, the lack of transparency, communication, and follow-through made this a disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company based on our experience.

Ongoing Service Issues and Unresolved Squirrel Infestation - Request for Immediate Resolution…read more I am writing to formally document and escalate an ongoing issue with squirrel activity in my attic and the unresolved service I received. The problem began in November 2025, when I discovered a squirrel infestation in my attic. The attic is not easily accessible from the interior of the home, yet the squirrels were able to enter and cause damage. A sales representative came to my home and assured me that the issue would be fully resolved within one week. That commitment was not fulfilled. Despite multiple follow-ups and complaints, the work was not completed in a timely or proper manner. Over the course of several months, supervisors visited my home on at least two occasions to review the job. On both occasions, it was determined that the work had not been completed correctly or was still unfinished. Nevertheless, the full payment was charged to my credit card immediately. Only a portion of the gutters and exterior of the home were sealed. As a result, the squirrels simply moved to another accessible area of the house where the attic is walkable. Because the exclusion work was incomplete, I had to take matters into my own hands and set traps myself to manage the ongoing infestation. When I contacted the sales representative to express my concerns, I was told it had not been enough time for the traps to work. I explained that trapping alone would not resolve the issue because only part of the home had been sealed, allowing the squirrels to continue entering and causing damage. I was also told that it was "not possible" for the squirrels to cause the level of damage I reported in such a short period of time. I was informed that someone would come to verify my claims, but no one arrived for nearly two weeks. I made repeated calls and left messages, which went unanswered. Throughout the winter months, I received no meaningful follow-up or resolution. Despite the lack of completed work and ongoing service issues, I later received an outstanding invoice for $387.86. I contacted the office to question how an additional charge could be issued when the job was never fully completed, materials were left on-site in boxes, and my repeated requests for follow-up had been ignored. I was again told that a supervisor would be sent out for another inspection. I would never recommend to use this company.
