We arranged to have Tyler of Coastal Patio Services re-sling and powder coat our Mallin patio set of four sling swivel chairs and a fire pit. He brought fabric swatches and some coating color options to our house. He was very easy to work with and patient. He wasn't pushy at all and in fact told me that I didnt really need to powder coat our furniture. But I wanted the set to look completely new, so we went with powder coating. He loaded up the furniture and brought it back when completed. Tyler doesn't actually do the powder coating himself, but his source did a really nice job. I believe that he does all of the other work himself. Everything came back actually looking better than new because we loved the fabric so much, and all parts other than the metal were new. The powder coating on the metal looked great. When I gave him the chairs they all had loose horizontal pieces on the backs of the chairs (not sure what those pieces are called or their purpose) and I was impressed that when he brought them back he had taken all of the play out of them. Everything looked as good or better than new. I had priced having the work done at the patio store that we originally purchased the set from and Tyler's price was at least 25% better. I believe that he is a one man operation, so be patient if you are trying to get things done during the summer. It did take him awhile to find time to get to our house because I believe that I called him in July 2023 and he had a lot of work to complete. Once he picked up the furniture the job was completed quickly. It was well worth the wait to get great work and save a lot of money. I would absolutely hire him in the future. read more

Just got back my patio dining set. Can't remember exactly when I bought it but it's almost 20 years old. Had the nylon mesh sling backs replaced on each of the six chairs. Tyler and Christian did an amazing job. They cleaned up the aluminum frames and brought the paint back to new. If you have higher end furniture from Brown Jordan, Tropitone (we have both,) or others, you need to know Coastal Patio Services. Truly, they can help make your old patio furniture new through re-webbing and other services. Why replace perfectly good (and expensive!) patio furniture when the paint is still good but the webbing on the backs and seats is sagging? We've used Coastal Patio Services on at least two occasions. In both instances, they did very nice work at very reasonable prices. The chairs are at least 8 years old and the exact material is no longer available. Christian helped us pick out a close match. The chair was repaired per schedule and looks great.
