Well I want to tell you a little bit about junk box on August 25th junk box was supposed to be at…read moremy home at 9:00 at 10:00 I called him they said oh I guess we forgot to put you on the schedule real apologetic said I'll be out there at 11:30 which he was Jacob is his name we got here he had it a trailer that was 3/4 the way full of a refrigerator to refrigerators and a cabinet he took what he could take off my property he said the price would be $378 but because of the confusion that morning with the scheduling he said he'd do it for $300 so if I'm paying this gentleman for the half a load or less than a half load I'm handing him $300 cash plus an extra 50 cuz I told him I might add a couple things he says well when I come back I'll come back with an empty trailer he was supposed to have been back here on Tuesday he called me and we changed the date to Thursday at 9:30 he calls me at 9:30 says he's going to have to reschedule I said okay I had most of the stuff piled up that I want to take it off but when he come back he come back with a half full trailer which he did tell me he would come back with an empty one he took what he could take and then told a friend of mine but that was all he could take and he left I called him I brought all this to his attention about the trailer being half-full he said he was done here I said you told me you was coming back with an empty trailer he said if I would have done that I would have lost money he said I gave you two half loads that's it well I didn't get to have cuz the first trailer was 3/4 away full and the second trailer was about 3/4 away full so he took about 2/3 of my stuff and basically told me tough luck which I have now called a another junk service to come back and pick up what this gentleman Jake who is the general manager wouldn't take or wouldn't work a deal out with me I don't usually do this to any companies but I'm just tired of being dumped on and just kind of stuff just makes me very very upset thank you for your time for whoever is reading this beware things are not always as they say they are. My husband and I just moved to the area from California, so when it came time to start working on…read moresome renovations at our new place, I had no idea where to go to dispose of an alarming amount of cement. Both FB and my neighbor recommended Sarnago & Sons for our disposal purposes, as we would be able to rent a dumpster to make the process easier. Before we rented the dumpster, we made a few runs to the yard with our trailer. If not for the amount of concrete we're going to have to get rid of, I'd continue doing so, because the guys who work in the front office are extremely helpful and quite funny. We have since rented a 20-yd roll-off dumpster, at $178 for 15 days. After those 15 days, the price is $5 a day. Additionally, if you need material (such as road base, fill dirt, shells, sand, etc), you can order a delivery that they'll bring with your dumpster for free. Had our project been further along, that's what we would have done. Be aware that Sarnago & Sons only sells material by the ton, so measure carefully. The ONLY complaint I have, and it's a minor one, is that my dumpster was delivered early. I called on Tuesday and was told that the roll-off wouldn't be ready on Wednesday, but they could deliver in the morning on Thursday. I agreed, processed the reservation, and confirmed Thursday. There was a small amount of confusion on Joe's part ("the roll-off guy") about the days and dates, but it happens to everyone. After a long week, Friday finally comes and you're bummed to realize it's only Thursday. Joe also took my contact info so that the driver could call me on his way, which would be helpful on a narrow residential street early in the morning. So, like I said, dumpster came early, on a Wednesday afternoon (with no warning call) instead of Thursday morning. But really, I don't count that against anyone. It allowed my husband, myself, and another set of helping hands to get started on our cleanup MUCH sooner. We're probably going to have to order another dumpster to complete this work, but I'll be happy to support a local business, especially one as helpful as Sarnago & Sons has been.

Didn't think I'd ever be in a position to rate a city dump, but here we are. I recently had a…read moreremodel done in the bathroom and had some larger items that weren't able to be placed curbside for pickup. Naturally, you could do the "I'll just put a little out this week... and next..." and so on, but I checked and found that for a car load, you could visit the dump and get rid of everything for $4.00. Yes, $4 bucks. So, I loaded the SUV with all the stuff that was too large to be picked up and off I went. The folks were extremely helpful. They asked if there was anything hazardous and what types of things I was dumping. I explained it was my inaugural run and the guys working there told me exactly where to go. Once there, you just dump whatever you have on the ground in the spot they tell you to dump it, and off you go. Very easy.

We were next, and the friendly woman directing activities showed my husband where to put our TV. It was so easy. Masks were worn by the employees we saw. Husband wore one, too, when he got out of the car to put the burned out flat screen TV on the table. No charge for this service, but Husband did provide our zip code, as requested. Usually we wait for electronic recycling in our area (most times it is at Countryside HS), but with COVID-19, we needed a trip to the city! Lots of construction going on.

The morning of the delivery I was informed that there would be a refundable "rental" of an air conditioned dog crate. This charge would be $600 for which I was to get $588 upon delivery. Within 5 minutes of paying this I was informed that I now was required to pay $1000 for insurance for the trip of 9 hours. Since I had no previous notification of either of these charges I refused the insurance. I was in the process of being SCAMMED by this company. Now, the next day they have not returned my money even though the dog crate was never used. The only time I was able to speak to anyone I was laughed at by two brothers (assumed owners). Both acted very unprofessional. I would tell anyone who asked NOT TO HIRE THIS COMPANY.
