Thankfully it only moved a few doors down & in a lot of ways a much better service. Firstly its more personal as the staff are very friendly & helpful, postal service run very efficiantly although the premises could be bigger as more than 3 oeople quing & space becomes tight. Would reccomwbd this place but maybe not if your not keen on confined spaces Also worth mentioning, there is a shop within this P O & the prices are extremely good compared to leading supermarket chains.

A particular favourite is the home-made tablet on sale for a bargain price. (Far too tempting while you're waiting in the Post Office queue!) The people who work there are really personable, and remember their regular customers (which is always nice.) It feels like a proper village post office. Their service is quick and efficient, which means that you never have to wait too long. My only complaint is that one time when I went over there with a run of seventy letters, they made me stick all the stamps on myself!

For a small shop it has a good range of things, from groceries and confectionery to greetings cards and postcards of Glasgow, to magazines and newspapers. You can play the national lottery here or have some photocopying done; there's a Bureau de Change within the post office area and a passport photo service offered too. There's a large car park just down the side to the left of the shop which is very handy because it's almost impossible to park on the main road.

Located right next to Lidl and across from the library, so very handy overall.

There is also a TV monitor which shows adverts for local businesses which can be useful. I have noticed that the staff are patient with difficult customers and are on hand to help the elderly if they have any problems. The entrance has no stairs which is good for disabled customers although parking can be an issue as it is located on a busy main street. However, Lidl is not far away and cars can be parked in their car park. They have recently installed a cash point machine for the convenience of customers.

Opening at 8.30am it gives people opportunity to buy stamps, pay bills, etc before going to work. Staff in general are friendly and helpful both for customers and each other. Sometimes though there aren't enough staff on the counter and queuing takes ages. Also if you are in the queue and remember at the last minute you need an envelope, you have to leave the queue to buy the envelope at the shop counter, before joining the post office queue again.

Not here, I was always greeted with a smile! These days, I don't post as many parcels but the staff still know me by name, and they have good chat as well. They are really helpful with any banking questions you have as well, like yesterday I wasn't sure about banking a cheque but they were able to tell me exactly what to bring down with me (a deposit slip, I would never have thought of that!). The shop is small and has a big supply of chocolates as well as most of the newspapers, and some basics you might need for cooking dinner. I don't tend to go here to do shopping though, I just use the quick and friendly post office services as well as getting cash out sometimes.
