We found that both carry the same items, however, so if you've been to one you might not need to hit the other one. But since I've been to both I thought I'd write a bit here, too. It may be bias since the other location was the one I was first acquainted with but I found the other space a bit more comfortable and charming. Not to say there's anything wrong with this one. I just love the more rustic, wood decor of the other. But this location still has so many delicious honey varietals to choose from! They have their own locally sourced honey including Sourwood and Wildflower, and some sourced varieties from out of state, including Tupelo from Florida and the Chicory and Meadowfoam from the Pacific NW. They even carry Lehua from Hawaii and Fireweed from Alaska! There's also infused flavors like coffee, ghost pepper, chai, lavender, vanilla bean, and more. And the best part? You can try them all! They also have some really cute bee themed housewares, plus skin care, candles, and other products made from beeswax. Perfect for gifting or hoarding for yourself. But for now, I love this place for gifts and local honey! One thing I love are the honey sticks, pretty much clear straws filled with different types of honey. They are so good to have on hand for tea, peanut butter toast or just a shot for your sweet tooth! Being a bee expert is not a requirement to enjoy this place, just a love of honey!! They have two convenient locations downtown, and offer so much more than just honey. They also carry skin care products, such as bath bombs, hand and body soap, lotions, and more. My mother in law is obsessed with their lotion bars, we get her one ever year for the holidays. It's a great place to shop for gifts, they even have candles, jewelry, drink ware, and I love the bees wax reusable food wraps they sell. They also sell packages of Asheville Tea Company, who were also on site for this event with tea samples. Tea and honey, what a perfect combo. I tried their seasonal apple cider tea, and their black tea, both were fabulous. Thanks to both companies for supplying some tea packets and sticks of honey as takeaways. My favorite thing about the Bee Charmer is their tasting bar. You can try just about any honey they sell. I tried the Firecracker first and it was definitely spicy, but not the spiciest honey they sell (they have a Ghost pepper honey too!) I also sampled their cocoa honey and I could really taste the hints of chocolate in it. They have all kinds of honey flavors- sweet, savory, spicy, herbal- you name it.
