In an era of multiple bids, Dan helped us realize that beyond just throwing money at a new home, there are others ways to write a very competitive offer. Additionally, Dan was also able to get us several viewings of townhomes before they came on the market - something I think gave him a huge edge over other realtors in the area. Because of the shortage of inventory (especially townhomes) in Arlington County, this makes all the difference in the world. Delayed our closing by 2 full weeks- which ultimately translates to money for all involved. For us, we had to pay a rate lock to keep our interest rate. $1000s for a delay outside of our control. Unacceptable. The day were were supposed to close, they continued to tell our title company that the papers were coming. A couple hours before, they finally admitted they had many things outstanding. Things like running a credit report, checking liens, and getting the proper signatures. Literally that's the entire job of a title company.... what were they doing!? All that and not being honest about it!? Completely shady business practice. Then when our agent continued to try and push us to close and keep on top of them- RGS people stop answering her! DO NOT TRUST THEM AND DO NOT RECOMMEND WORKING WITH THEM.
