Cobb Pediatrics isn't willing to treat your children if you ask to have a voice in that treatment plan. They saw our family for years, then discharged us because we asked to postpone one vaccine dose. They don't care about your family, they care about the money they make from dosing your kids with vaccines they don't need. They are not interested in giving you a voice, but blindly adhering to an outdated schedule. Post-Covid nonsense, I think it's fair to ask why before saying yes, and I think it's fair for doctors to have a better answer than "the schedule says so." read more

When you're a first time parent, there is so much pressure to find the perfect doctor to take care of your children, especially in the midst of a 100-year pandemic. We called around and looked at so many websites to find that doctor for our daughter. Then, a couple of our family friends recommended Dr. Forbes and Cobb Pediatrics, and I am endlessly glad they did. I will never forget the incredible feeling of relief after watching Dr. Forbes with our daughter for the first time. He was so wonderful with her, and incredibly patient and kind with us. The story has been the same every single visit for the past three years, and we are so happy that our newest baby gets to call him her doctor. And I would be remiss to not also mention his absolutely wonderful nurse, Terra. Our eldest loves her, and we do, too. I cannot express how amazing Mrs. Terra and Dr.Forbes are. My children have been under their care for about 7 years now. Every time I have came in to get them seen Mrs.Terra is always super attentive, warm and gentle with my children. As a plus we get to share a good laugh/short convo too. We joined this office a year ago! They have been nothing short of amazing! Since our newborn, we have had the pleasure of seeing our nurse Terra! She's been so sweet, attentive, and her bed side manner is stellar. She has listened to every concern and made sure our pediatrician addressed every question that we have had. She's very gentle and nurturing with our son during vaccinations. She always makes sure that we never leave without total confidence that every concern has been addressed. I never write reviews, but, I felt compelled to do so for this place even though I've never been. I called today to book an appointment for my daughter. We are struggling to find a new doctor and getting evaluated for ADHD. Her teach and I are at the ends of our ropes. When I called, I was pleased that someone answered the phone right away but as soon as I started discussing my situation with the receptionist I quickly felt bad for calling. She was abrupt with her response saying they don't take our insurance and would not even consider self pay. I'm just a frustrated mom trying to help my daughter out and I don't know where to turn. read more

I have been coming here for several years now. I was a patient, and my husband as well. Now we bring our 3 daughters and wouldn't want to take them elsewhere. Cobb Pediatrics has shown and provided amazing care for years. Dr. Forbes is now my daughters provider and my kids don't ever feel scared or not looking forward to an appointment. As a matter of fact, when they get hurt or not feeling good; they always say let's go see Dr. Forbes to see what I have. Terra his nurse is amazing as well. I don't ever stress out taking my 10 month old for her vaccines because I know she's very gentle with her and my baby hardly ever cries. I recently turned eighteen so my mom encouraged my brother and I to go into the pediatrics for a well visit without her for the first time today. While I expected the experience would be a stressful, it actually turned out to be super relaxed and pretty fun. All of the staff I encounter, especially our nurse Ms Terra, created a welcoming and comfortable environment for my brother and I. Additionally, after speaking to Dr. Forbes about a medical concern of mine, I overcame some anxieties regarding sharing such concerns. It's disappointing to know that I'll soon be too old for the clinic. I would totally recommend it! read more

I use to love this place but over the years they have gotten more and more unprofessional. They removed my son from their patient list without any notice, and then when I called in they lied about notifying me via voicemail and didn't even apologize. Worst customer service ever! read more

I started going here based on reviews. The facility is big and nice and the staff is professional. I also like that they have two female pediatricians of color which I prefer for my children. My issue is that even if I go in for what I know are minor issues, I am being charged for a long/high complexity visit. I spoke to the billing office and a nurse about this and they say it is what the doctor put in because she provided an examination. I would expect the doctor to do a thorough examination and that is why I brought my children in to see a doctor rather than use other options like virtual doctor. I also have brought my children to urgent care for urgent matters and paid less than what I was charged for a non urgent minor matter at Cobb Pediatrics. Three visits (2 for fever and one for pink eye) all were charged for a long/high complexity visit, which I feel is outrageous for matters that required less than ten minutes with the doctor. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Forbes since 2012-13 with my oldest who is now 20. He still to this day sees Dr. Forbes because he loves him and Terra. He says he will continue to come until he is forced to no longer be able to (aged out). We both feel so cared for and loved by Terra and Dr. Forbes. They both treat us more like family instead of patients and I am so grateful to have both of them in our lives. Terra is one of the best Pediatrics nurse I have been blessed to have. About 2 years ago, the two Cobb Pediatric locations at 410 Villa Rica Way in Marietta, and 5041 Dallas Hwy in Powder Springs merged into one location at 3405 Dallas Hwy in Marietta. I used to take my children to the location in Powder Springs before the merger. The new location is larger, and has more space. The waiting room has cute little animal chairs for the children to sit, or they may opt to sit in a regular chair or sofa. There is a tv in the waiting area. Although the waiting area is nice and spacious, I find it to be a little boring. The staff at Cobb Pediatrics are very friendly, and attentive, and make the children feel very comfortable. I'm a fan, and I have been since 2003! read more

The lady that helps with appointments and patient portal is incredibly rude, I haven't had an issue with the doctors, but some of their employees are not friendly at all. The website never works and the process to register and get an appointment is very inconvenient and time consuming. read more

I recently moved to the area and started taking my kids here. I have four and all of them love it. We tend to be in and out in 30 min. or less which is very different from our previous doctors. Also we don't feel rushed which is a plus. My fav part was I was able to get an appointment the day I registered which is pretty rare. read more

Normally I love going here and I hope to take my kids here when I have a family. Unfortunately my last experience was really bad. I had suffered all night with a fever and waking up in the middle of the night crying In so much pain. So I called as soon as they opened and they got me in as soon as possible. Unfortunately my normal doctor was all booked which is understandable. I love my normal doctor but imma have to get over that because I'm about to be too old to continue going here anyways. So I went anyways and was seen immediately. Everything was going well I explained my symptoms (fever, tonsils were sore, cough, ear pain/ pressure, headache, shakes). The nurse that comes in before the doctor wrote all this down and was super cool. She ordered a strep and a flu test. The doctor comes in and she was polite and checked me out. She got the results of the tests and both came back negative. She decided to just treat it like it was a sinus infection and that the fever should go away by the next day . Here's where the problem was... 2 days later I still have a fever and it had increased and my tonsils were swollen HUGE have white spots all in my throat and I had to go to urgent care for them to inform me I have tonsillitis. I just feel like this doctor didn't take enough time to look at my tonsils (bc they were still pretty bad the day I went) or she would have caught it early on and it wouldn't have got this bad. I even asked her and she checked again and said they aren't that bad just have drainage. She kinda just dismissed it as a sinus infection and said the last time I came it was a sinus infection too. So i paid a $35 copay for her to tell me the wrong thing just to turn around and have to go to urgent care anyways. Definitely not going back unless my normal doctor is available. read more

Well, since our primary pediatrician was out and the little one was sick, we called and got a appointment with Dr. Lebish. Our experience was just ok, I understand physicians lack social skills but our with experience with Dr. Lebish was just not fun. read more

I've been going to this practice every since it was located on Austell Rd, then Powder Springs Rd and now Villa Rica Way. I will follow them where every they go. The people there are always so nice and kid friendly and I see a particular doctor every visit and have been seeing her since my son was born 11 years ago, Dr. Erika van Putten is amazing. She is so personable and she doesn't rush to get you in and out. She actually listens and hears you out and I as a parent of two really appreciate that. I also take my daughter to her since birth also and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. She's the REAL DEAL and I recommend her to all the new parents and friend and family looking for a great pediatrician. My son got really sick about 6 years ago and he was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease well luckily for me and my son Dr. Van Putten diagnosed him and sent us straight to Scottish Rite/Children's Health Care of Atlanta and when I arrived they were able to confirm his diagnosis and treat him immediately. I will always remember what she has done for me and my family. What a great doctor she is and I just can't say enough good things about her. read more

I had been taking both my kids to them for 4 years with no problems. My little one has a serious health condition that only one Dr knew a lot about so I was very happy until we had to file bankruptcy due to the over whelming Dr bills and we were dismissed by the practice over $90.00. I never owed anything before this and paid what they told me to on the date of service. Have to say that the last Dr we saw on a sick work in visit was not very good so it did not sting as bad but it was very sad that because we had to make this hard decision we get kicked out of this practice. read more
