DON'T GO! 1. This place was gross and unsanitary. I went for a virus. I thought it might be flu but the test was negative along with all the other tests. Still, they gave me IV fluids and steroids since I was in such bad shape. 2. These are barely licensed people. It took 3 different people and 6 tries to get my vein. That's 6 pokes! I was bleeding everywhere and it was SO painful. By poke 3 I asked if I could leave or if I was that bad and needed the IV, should I go to the hospital. They continued to dodge my questions and whisper outside to eachother. I had a fever and was dehydrated. It's a virus. Have you never had someone come in like this? 3. To add worse to the matter, it has been over a year since this horrid visit and I am still getting bills after I've paid my bill in full! These are NEW bills after multiple full payments and "adjustments". I refuse to pay and have been sent to collections. I have never had this with any other doctor and have been with my insurance for years and years. This place is a front for shady business and scam. It has to be! read more

Dr O needs an award. He needs to expand and start a school. He might have saved my father's life. My dad has just recently moved to GA in December to live with us due to some health complications. We initially found this Urgent Care when my dad needed daily IVs due to dysplasia and he hadn't established care. The staff and Dr. O were incredible. Fast forward. Feb 3rd he had surgery on his leg and stayed in the hospital for 2 days. Everything was fine. He came home and was fine but within a week, he was going downhill fast. We saw his doctors for a follow up on Wednesday explaining his leg was incredibly swollen and he was lightheaded, lethargic and not feeling well. They did an ultrasound to confirm no blood clot and sent us on our way. By Friday he was just terrible. Very weak, grouchy, just not himself. I needed a doctor that could figure out what was going on. Saturday morning I called OMS and asked if he was in. They said he would be back in March and I explained what was going on. She put me on hold and said he would be in later and would see my dad. I told her that he was still sleeping and would see if I could get him there. Anishua was so kind..I called when we were getting ready. We arrived and they took him back within a few minutes and the sweet nursing student got his history and vitals and in walks Dr O. This man is a GOD send. It is so rare to find a doctor with this level of care and honesty. I'm sorry to his wife and kids for taking him away for so long. He was with my dad for close to 3 hours. I gave him a hug and there were tears. He figured out why my dad was so lethargic and gave him IV, IV antibiotics and strong antibiotics to take home. He likely had gotten an infection from the catheter in the hospital and my grandfather died from staph infection that went to the heart. Dr O, I can't thank you and your staff enough and I pray your practice thrives. We need more doctors like you! Again, sorry to your family. read more

I went to OMS in August 2021 for a covid test and another health concern. Dr. O. was friendly and professional and did a good job with my care. I am giving OMS a low rating because of the billing department. They did not include the covid test on the insurance claim. Covid tests are covered by my insurance, so I should be reimbursed for the out of pocket cost of the test. I have tried to contact OMS by phone and email many times over the last year to ask them to re-file a corrected claim but they have been very difficult to reach. My insurance company has also reached out to OMS without success. I would gladly update my review if OMS would contact me and reimburse me for the covid test. read more

First off, Atlanta has literally been killing me with pollen.. so much I had to go to urgent care so I don't die. I never been here before and my first experience was great. I don't like getting sick nor I want to however, I've considered getting sick again just to visit lol.. But no, seriously.. Jackie, Ty and Sameerah was truly welcoming and had me feeling better within minutes of my arrival. Their personalities and positive attitude toward my care is so appreciated. From the moment I arrived at OMS Urgent Care, I was met with such professionalism and care. I had experienced sciatica pain for over a month. I had visited a couple of professional treatment centers, from chiropractor to decompression therapy without relief. One visit with Dr. Omokhodian, which lasted a few hours, was all it took to finally attain pain relief. I highly recommend him and his excellent support and caring staff. Five Stars!!! read more

I guess we are one of the unlucky ones who didn't have a good experience here. My daughter was in yesterday to get checked for strep throat. The culture came back negative (although I'm unsure if the medical assistant took the culture correctly since she had the blood pressure cuff on upside and needed assistance from someone else to get the blood pressure reading). The Dr. On staff agreed that although the culture came back negative she had all the tell tale signs of strep. She wrote us an antibiotic prescription and we attempted to get it filled at 6 different pharmacies with no luck. One pharmacy manager told us the entire state of Georgia didn't have this dose available. I was finally told that they had the antibiotic available in a higher dose if the prescription could be re-written. I called OMS Urgent Care on Saturday morning and explained the situation to the receptionist and was told they were busy and she would call me back in 2 hours. 2 1/2 hours went by and I called to check back- she told me "I'm sorry were so busy- if you give me another hour I can try to explain what's going on to my provider." When I questioned the process for a patient who was still suffering with no relief from yesterday she said, "I don't know what else to tell you" How is it that you can't take 3 minutes to get her the medicine she needs?! We already spent time in your waiting room and I shouldn't have to bring my sick daughter back to put her back in the queue. I am in the medical field and I can't wrap my head around this logic. The level of care and compassion was not exemplified by the staff here and I hope that if this ever occurs again your patients who paid you for services from the day before will be prioritized. My husband just drove down there so we could get our daughter some relief sooner and they had him wait another 25 minutes in the waiting room while another staff member was 'calculating the dose'. Unbelievable. Final update- after the most recent visit to the pharmacy with a newly written prescription the dose was wrong and the pharmacist had to call the clinic. After hanging up she said, "this Dr. doesn't know what she's doing, but we'll get this dose corrected for you". Not to mention the person who wrote the prescription was rude to the pharmacist, as she was to my husband. I don't know who Dr. O has working for him, but clearly he is not there to directly supervise his staff. Parents beware! 24 hours later and my 8 year old is finally going to get some relief. read more

I brought in my 2-year-old daughter, who was showing symptoms, to test for strep throat in February of this year. I was told she couldn't be tested for only strep, and that I would need to pay for four additional swab tests, which was odd. Next, for some reason, I and my daughter were forced to step outside the building on a cold, rainy day for these swabs to be performed. Ultimately I was told that my daughter had "tested negative for everything," and "must have just had the flu or something." I paid $165 for the visit and left. Two days later, after having already sent my daughter to daycare with other children, I received a phone call telling me that actually, she had tested positive for strep. So not only had I been misinformed, but that misinformation had endangered other children with infection. This was not a good experience, but I was willing to just take the L and know not to patronize this urgent care in the future. But now, more than *six months* after my visit, I'm suddenly receiving text messages, emails, and snail mail, informing me that I owe an additional $117 for this visit, which makes no sense, and is what has compelled me to write this review. A representative at OMS has told me that they'll resend my insurance information and get this issue resolved, but I have very little faith. The staff was kind during my visit, and for that the business receives a star. But this has been possibly the most frustrating, unsatisfying urgent care experience of my life, and I do not recommend it. read more

Not in network for United healthcare Before going, I called ahead to ensure they were in network. They said they were so I drove 25 minutes to them. Eight months later, I get a $700 bill. I called everyone to find out what's going on. According to the office they are "in-network" because UHC covers the office visit (they don't). In what world would I go an urgent care just for a visit and have no tests done?!?!! They should definitely disclose that. Don't go here if you have UHC. read more

To pay over $130 for a covid test and be advised that I either have to return to the facility (thus exposing myself to potential contact with viruses etc) or receive a facsimile of my official results is unacceptable. Be advised if you choose this facility for your covid test, there is a policy in place that prevents them from posting a pdf statement of your test results within their portal. There is a notification within the portal that indicates the results however it is not an official document. I was not advised that I must remain at the facility in order to receive a copy of my results. read more

OMS Urgent Care is great! I showed up for C-19 testing. They require you to scan a QC code on the front door to start the process. I set my appointment for an hour later (3:00pm). I was told that they start sending emails with the check in forms at 2:00pm. 2:05 I got my forms, filled them out. 2:40 I was asked to come in and pay then by 2:50 I was swabbed in my truck and on my way home before my 3:00 appointment time. In a couple of hours I received my results via their charts app. Couldn't have asked for better service even though they had people lined up to register and even more to be swabbed. WELL DONE TEAM!! My son and I went to Dr. O and his crew for a rapid and PCR covid test yesterday. The process is very efficient and orderly, the waiting room is limited to 4 people and they are socially distanced. Many of us have received Covid testing already, but I can assure you not with the care exhibited by these folks. After testing, we were advised they were very busy and results could be delayed. We were hoping for results by the end of their office hours but hadn't received, but again we were told they were working on an extreme caseload. Just before 11pm I was called by Dr. O. who apologized for calling so late, but he wanted to make sure we had received and understood our results. The office closes at 8pm! and he called us much later. He spent time with me (though I am sure he was exhausted..) to answer any questions and apologize for the unavoidable delay. Who else would go to that type of trouble? Any other rapid test/urgent care would have waited, and he/they didn't! Do yourself a favor, if you need urgent care check these guys out. Dr. Omokhodion and his staff are so kind and patient. Our whole family has visited OMS on several occasions since moving to Georgia back in December and they're always so organized and helpful. It's a true walk-in clinic and appointments aren't necessary - we've always been able to see the Dr. or one of the nurse practitioners without issue. They're especially sweet to our two boys, ages 3 and 5, and have treated them for conjunctivitis and ear infections a few times now. Can't recommend them enough! read more

This was the worst urgent care experience I have ever had. Originally, I spoke to a great associate over the phone. I had high expectations but was sadly disappointed. It seemed like nobody knew what they were doing/unexperienced. And to top it off, when I received my original test results everything was fine. 6 days later, I get a call stating that it turns out I have abnormalities in my test results. Frankly, I don't recommend going here if you're looking for accurate testing results. read more

Came in and told me there would be about a 90 minute wait for a rapid COVID test. Gave them my name and then went out to my car. They emailed me a very lengthy form to fill out online which I did and submitted it online. Went back in to check and they said they did receive it and to go back out to the car and wait until they call me in. I went back in every hour to check and they said they'll call me when it's my time. After four hours I left. They never did call me. Kind of comes across as a scam to get your insurance information. the nurse practitioner on duty literally yelled at me and was so mean because i didn't want to get an x ray on my head for a concussion. x rays show you bone damage for a skull, not soft tissue damage for a brain. there was nothing wrong with my skull so i'm not sure why she was yelling at me for not wanting to get an x ray on my head. she was unnecessarily mean and rude after i denied that x ray scan for the remainder of my visit. it is really messed up to yell at someone at all, but especially someone with a concussion. she had also forgotten to check my injured wrist which i mentioned at every point along the way. she blamed her medical staff for not telling her, rather than admitting that she had not read their notes thoroughly. the rest of the staff was really nice and helpful, and i have absolutely no complaints about them. it was just one mean nurse practioner who ruined my night and killed the chance of me ever going back there. read more
