My Gf and I applied for this place almost a month ago now. We were approved then paid all the move…read morein fees. We realized two weeks before we move in and two weeks after we were accepted that we had not received a lease agreement to sign so we called and asked for the lease agreement. They informed us that they would send it to us by the end of the day. Three days went by and no update until the end of the day on Friday at 4:45-4:50 that we were over income and we could no longer live here. For the past week now we have emailed them asking for a simple written email explaining why we were denied and the date we would be refunded. We were told over the phone that we would receive the application fee and the move in fees as well. Over the week we have not received any reply to the email or have been told it will be sent either "by end of the day or tomorrow for sure" and neither have been true. This has put us in a bad spot because we need the money that we put into the move in fees and application to apply for other housing and move in fees. As well as finding somewhere else to live in a limited timeframe. I would not recommend this community at all considering how well the front office and management is at getting back with its future residents and sending essential paper work. We were really excited to move in and now it's a nightmare trying to get assurance that we will be refunded and an email detailing when and the amount we will get refunded.

No told us until the last minute. My wife and I were royally screwed over. After speaking for months with staff they finally told us we made just above the AMI but at end of application process. They stated it was on their website to defend themselves. This information which must be found by actively seeking out the essential housing information was not in plain site or highlighted. I suggest they train staff to make this clear before encouraging applications and wasting peoples time. This was only after we paid for an application and took of work multiple times to complete paper work. Some staff were nice while others had a lot of attitude when asked for updates or general questions (to make sure e everything was in order). Not once did the manager or staff look at our initial application and tell us that they had switched to operating solely for attainable housing. They were several items they did not tell us to fill out paperwork until I asked about them. They ask us to fill in compliance paper work even through we made above AMI. They would have waited who knows how long if we had not ask what the next steps are. Terrible communication unless prompted. They required that we come in the middle of work day to complete compliance paper work. We were very excited and optimistic until the end. The staff attitude and training needs to be improved. The establishment is likely to go down hill with new management. We had friends that live in community and it seemed great and always had good things to say. Unfortunately the new change in management in October will likely ruin such a great community. Since they are limiting essential housing they pushing out potential tenants that could strengthen the diversity of community.

If you like peace and quiet don't move here. Traffic on Chisholm Pkwy is terrible and just gets…read moreworse. We were not able to use our patio whatsoever. Also, two big schools next door as well as an ever increasing number of new homes and one way in and out results in a traffic jam every day. A large developement going in will make things a nightmare. We moved out because of the noise. I gave them a note from my doctor explaining that the noise made my vertigo much much worse. To be clear, we did not want to move. Four months after moving we get letters from a collection agency threatening us for a supposed unpaid debt. We left the apt spotless but never recieved any of our deposit back and in fact have heard nothing from the apartment since we left. The carpet was pretty ratty when we moved in, maybe two years old. We lived there about 18 months and just the two of us and no pets. We gave them our forwarding address and we can prove it because the collection agency letters came directly to our new address, they were not forwarded. This is petty and spiteful. We had thought that the manager, Eileen, was always friendly and nice to us so this feels like a stab in the back. Why would they immediately send things over to a collection agency when they would only get pennies on the dollar? This place does have issues and it would be wise for anyone thinking of moving here to consider it carefully.

The staff is truly wonderful. Every time they see you they ask if you need any help or anything at all! The residents here are also so helpful! I have yet to meet someone in the hallway or elevator, who hasn't smiled and introduced themselves! My apt is gorgeous! I could not be more pleased! The ceilings are quite high and the windows very large. As a night person, I always worry I might be disturbing my neighbors. However, I've been told no one has heard my TV, washer/dryer shower or ice machine at any time, day or night. The insulation is great! One of my favorite things are the varied and incredible views. Sometimes I sit on my balcony reading and find myself getting drawn in just watching the world go by! As far as I'm concerned, I've made my last move!
