I can't say enough about Joe Coble's professionalism, efficiency, dependability, transparent communication and pricing. I am a woman fairly new to the Berkeley Springs area, trying to get my new home completed, and have had some horrific experiences with other companies in the area, including one who insulted my intelligence by trying to get me to sign an obviously, grossly over-inflated quote for electric rough in. Cobles is just the opposite, is very knowledgeable and respectful, and I have only heard very positive things about him from other clients/customers, that I know are legitimate. Installed some ceiling fans and that work was satisfactory. However, during those visits there was numerous occasions where he was a no show. We asked if he could help with fixing the dishwasher and said he would talk to a contact about ordering the part and never chased it up each time I called. In the end I ordered it myself but the supplier did not send us all the parts so rather than waiting he used superglue to fix the problem and said it would last '100 years'...it lasted 2 weeks. We ordered the missing part and contacted him and scheduled a time for him to come in and again and fix it properly......no show. Left 4 voicemails and still no response 4 days later. We give up. Finding someone else. Nice guy, just no respect for customers. read more

Very unprofessional company they do not get back with you they line up appointments and do not show up with inspectors cost you money I suggest go somewhere else to another Electrical Company read more

Great service - They do more than electrical service. Had outside lights installed, cement work repaired and painted . So far great, prompt, reliable work at a reasonable price!! Scheduled more work this week! read more

Same deal as the other two reviews. Came for the estimate. Set up two appointments - first one he texted to say he had been in an accident in his van and had to cancel. He then texted ME to reschedule over a week later. Day came and no show, no call. I lost almost two days of my leave at my work, because of his lack of respect for other people's time. I wish I had seen these reviews beforehand. read more

Terrible customer service..must NOT need my business or money..had an appointment for Monday,13th,for 3.30 to 4pm..well 4.30..no call from Coble..I called&texted 3 times..called next morning..no pickup or call back.good riddence. read more

We had him do some work for us paid he left. Went to use a plug that was added to an existing plug and it tripped the gfi ( the original) and wouldn't untrip and new ones wouldn't work contacted him he said he'd be out Thursday to fix it. No call no show so I contacted him he apologized and said wife in hospital came out Saturday. Saturday he said the issue was we needed a new gfi switch left to get it and never came back. Leaving the wires hanging out of active circuits . No call no message on phone or fb. My husband and I both kept contacting him finally on Tuesday he said death in family be back Thursday will fix Friday. Friday no call no show then Saturday every plug hooked up to original stopped working along with our security system. Had to call another electrician as emergency. Texted him told him he said it was the next Friday he was coming not one just past. Then said he would refund. That night Other electrician said it was an issue with the neutral wires being mixed up as it was tied into 2 separate existing circuits. Prior to that I had left some honest reviews. Last night he texted me that he wouldn't issue refund unless I took down reviews. read more
