Absolutely delicious and so worth the wait. We drove 45 minutes to try this and only disappointment was the dining room was closed. This is truly a hidden gem of Wooster that the surrounding areas need to know. Very Cheesy and the sauce is to die for. The crust was amazing and filling. This is not your normal pizza place I promise you that. It's so delicious!!!

Wonderful Italian Dinner. I had read (and called) to confirm that if we dine after 7 there wont be a crowd; there wasnt. We had a party of 5 and we were greeted immediately though had to wait a few minutes. We were not sure what to expect with the mixed reviews but we were all happy with the evening! Also, this is a CASH only establishment, so be prepared. Though Jeff was not a server, he was a very welcoming family member that continued to guide us thru the menu, provided sauces to try and answer questions. Our table was always pleasantly bussed by a young man (also) named Jeff. Our server was also friendly and helpful. The apps we ordered were the hot peppers and my husband was thrilled! He enjoyed not only the pepper but the finely ground sausage stuffing with a kick. We also ordered the cheese fries. Those were also really good. For entrees, we ordered : 2 pizzas - these take an hour to cook at minimum. Amazing provoline cheese covers the entire pizza. It was wonderful! Seafood feast pasta - the person that ordered this was disappointed.I think they were hoping it would have been in a creamy or marinara sauce of sorts vs a broth type over pasta. I think part of it was understanding the dish but most of the seafood was eaten and i ate the squid for him. Gnocchi special with peas over the alfredo sauce. It was wonderful! I had some people try the gnocchi that have never had it in our group and they also enjoyed it. It wax cooked just right and mixed with the sauce and peas with prosciutto was a pleasant surprise. Dessert - cannolis Our friend ate his and said it was amazing. We were too full to eat ours, so we got them to go. We were all thrilled with our meals and will be back!

Like one reviewer said, "This place is an icon." To go here is to love it. I remember coming when I was about 6. I could never remember the name of the place, but always remembered and referred to it as "The Chinese Pizza Place." Something about the place - either the slanted roof or the font on building's name - looked more like the outside of a divey Chinese restaurant than an Italian place. Still, I remembered that the food was good and always wanted to go back. My first job out of college was in NE Ohio, and when I called on a client in Wooster, I asked, "Do you happen to know the name of the Chinese Pizza Place?" He knew exactly what I was talking about, recommended one of his favorite pies, and - BAM! - I had my Saturday night meal planned. It was just as delicious as I had remembered. These are filling pizza pies, so make sure you have plenty of room ready for some serious pizza when you come. It took a while to get a table, but once I was seated I was served promptly. Pizza is made to order, so it can be a bit of a wait, but it's completely worth it. Take-home box is acceptable and even encouraged - although I'm sure some Wooster students have packed away a whole pie in one sitting at one point or another. If you're in Wooster, or driving through, it's worth the time to experience the Coccia House!

Delicious, love the sauce and crust. Sausage and cheese makes you think you are in Italy

I was only disappointed because it was not open in August when we visited. The pizza is amazing and we missed it!

Review applies to pizza only…read more I really wanted to like this place and read every single review on here. Counter to one review, I did not find the pizza too salty. It was cooked to perfection and adequately topped with all the items I ordered, except for one: SAUCE. Every piece had about a teaspoon of sauce, leaving the pizza essentially flavorless. It wasn't BAD per se, but every bite left something to be desired. If you're still curious, get extra sauce and it might save the pizza. But in all honesty, the "Hunt Brothers" pizza by the slice that you can find at many nearby gas stations is significantly better than this.

My wife and I stopped at this odd little building out in the middle of nowhere, because at the last…read moremoment she saw a small yard sign that said "Ice Cream". So we pulled off and found ourselves on a weedy gravel driveway in front of an old English cottage looking house. We went inside and found ourselves in a cramped entryway with signs, trinkets, and just stuff. Directly ahead of us was a freezer with the "Homemade" ice cream logo, and on the right at a 90 degree angle was another ice cream case with a small square counter between them to place finished pies. It was very difficult to find room to place an order or even take picture, but his small company must do a tremendous amount of business considering the amount of pizza they sold while we waited to order, it was nonstop! My wife got two hard scoops and I an apple pie soft serve. Both were served in large white Styrofoam cups and the cost $5 each. This may sound like a lot for a cup of ice cream but it's actually a bargain considering a "large" is nearly a quart! We did not sit on their patio, but in our car. The respite was delicious! If you are out tooling around and feel the urge for some great ice cream, (can't speak for the pizza) be sure to make Lionsgate your next destination.
