I like my crust soft, so I always ask for "light bake" and tonight it was perfect. I told Don tonight, that his was the best pizza in town, but I regret that comment, because he just has THE BEST PIZZA ANYWHERE! Oy. There are people that literally LOVE this place, but i am not one of them. We ordered a deluxe and a cheese and the onions on the deluxe were SO strong you could smell them in the car for days after, just from driving home with the pizza. I definitely preferred the cheese over the deluxe, but with SO MANY pizza options in CF, I'll go elsewhere. read more

Been coming here since I discovered Brands when they moved to North Canton back in 1996-1997, which was a short run as they moved back to Canal Fulton. Cleanest pizza place ever and best quality, no gimmicks. Only thing of note I would add is they have the best banana peppers here, the aroma hits you as soon as you walk in! I love it but they don't put enough banana peppers on when ordered, so always ask for double if you do. All other toppings have always felt that I was getting my money's worth. I'm thinking maybe an extra half dozen sliced BP rings added and it would be perfect for my banana pepper count. Sometimes I imagine if they added jojos how their version would taste, but they only do one thing here and they do it better than anyone else so that is their claim to fame. :) Worth the drive! This is one of the top pizzas I've ever had and I have had pizza from all over the globe. read more

I love pizza. And the pizza from Don Brand's is some of the best. It is not too spicy, but the cheese is wonderful. Don Brand's itself is very, very clean inside. You could eat off of the floor it is so clean. I don't like the sausage, it is the crumbly kind, rather than actual pieces of suasage, but everything else is great! Don Brand's is easily the best pizza in America. I have been eating there since I was three years old, every time I visited my grandparents. The pepperoni pizza is incredible (they're the little rounds that curl up around the edges). The cheese is stringy, fresh, and delicious. If you like sausage, Don Brand's is like no other. I don't like sausage in big balls. The sausage they use is crumbled. Goes great with the green peppers. The sauce is the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. But the best part might be the crust. The crust is like a crunchy ring rising around the edges to hold in the toppings. You have to eat it fresh to get the full effect. The prices are very reasonable. The only drawbacks: they only accept cash (hence the low prices), they don't deliver (hence the low prices), and they're only in Canal Fulton, so living in Atlanta I don't get it often enough! If you're in Akron, Canton, even Cleveland, make the trip to Don Brands. You won't regret it. read more
