Based on all the positive reviews, I have been wanting to go to this salon for months. I'm a mom of two very young children and save getting my nails done for special occasions. I don't have the time or financial means to go on a regular basis. Last November, I had a family wedding so I finally had the opportunity to try Coccolami. Unfortunately the day before my appointment, my daughter was diagnosed with RSV. I called the salon as soon as I found out to reschedule my appointment for two days later, I really wanted to try the salon and was hoping she would be a little better or I would have childcare for the time of the appointment. Unfortunately, the next afternoon my daughter still required nebulizer treatment so I ultimately needed to cancel. I cancelled the day before my appointment. Since November, I haven't gotten my nails done. I have another wedding coming up so I thought now was my chance to try the salon. I called about two weeks prior to when I wanted to go and made an appointment. About 30 minutes later, I received an email that my appointment had been cancelled. I called the salon to find out why since I hadn't been called or told why. The woman who answered said it was because of my history of cancelling my appointments, upon telling her the circumstances of why I had to cancel my previous appointments, she was rude, demeaning and chose to berate me on rescheduling and then cancelling and thought I would cancel again so didn't want to take my appointment. She didn't want to even give me a chance. I honestly felt sad that I was treated this way, I was sad for all moms and I was sad that a primarily women focused business would choose to treat prospective customers like this. They could have called me to ask if I would make it, they could have followed their own policy and if I did cancel again, charge me. But instead they chose to berate me for taking care of my child over running to my nail appointment. Very disappointing customer service and I hope no one else gets treated this way from any business. read more

A friend of mine told me about Cocolami Nails a few years ago and I haven't looked back! Sandy the owner and her staff are very professional, detailed oriented and fantastic at what they do! I am always happy with my nails when I leave. My daughters also love the manicures they get there. Any time that I have had a special request they "nail it" (LOL)! The salon is always very clean and relaxing, it's not one of those crazy loud nail salons. I 100% always recommend Cocolami Nails to my family and friends. read more

I have been looking for a nail place in the area that I like. Have been to many, but nowhere I wanted to stay. I have been to Coccolami twice already for a gel manicure and pedicure. They do a great job with both. I had different people each time and had no trouble with any. They have many colors to choose from, their appointment scheduling is easy and provides the timeframe and pricing prior to session. I will be continuing to come back here! read more

I found this salon via word of mouth, and have been coming here over the course of two years and trying out a variety of services. I've gotten last lift and tints, powder brows, and a gel manicures. Each time I've walked in to the salon everyone looked up and greeted me. It was such a friendly and clean welcome. I love walking in to a pleasant environment and everyone looked happy to be there. I don't live too close, it's about a 20 minute drive for me, but worth every minute for quality service. Sandy has truly been accommodating to all of my requests and questions. This place is EVERYTHING!!! I used to come here a few years ago and my nails were always perfection. I moved about 40 minutes away a little over a year ago and for a whole year I kept trying to find a nail place that I liked but nothing worked. Every place I went to made my nails look uneven or chipped quick. I decided to just come back to cocolami because the 40 minute drive is so soooo worth it!! This is my second review because I love this place so much! Here are various nails from the past year at this location. Between Sandy, Nancy and Stella, I walk away with gorgeous nails every time. They don't drill away at your natural nails, which is how I've managed to grow mine so long! I either get color gel manicures or Gel X. Quality work, clean salon and easy parking. I love my time at Coccolami Nails. So attentive - your every need is anticipated by the employees - and met 110% - I found my home away from home for my mani/pedi - will never ever switch. The owner Sandy is so down to earth and funny , Nancy makes every visit so special with her bright smile and helping me with which color to pic etc - love my nails - Monica is awesome! This place is so nice and clean! Employees were very friendly and made sure I got what I wanted on my nails, I also got a nice moisturizing hand massage and a heat pack for my shoulders. They spent the time to do my nails right and were not trying to rush, unlike other places I've been to in the area. I have been a customers of this salon for about a year....... and just recently I found out that they charge returning customers a $10.00 extra charge if you do not come every 2 weeks. This is not posted any where in the business nor do I think something like that is even legal...How can you charge me extra for not coming back ever two weeks????? Came here at the recommendation of a friend. As a guy, I was a bit hesitant about getting a manicure. I scheduled an appointment at 1:00, got there around 12:50 and they were able to get me started right away. The staff were all very friendly and professional. I can not say enough wonderful things about Sandy, the owner of the eyelash extension/spa at Coccolami Nails! She is professional, knowledgeable and knows exactly what length of lash looks best on you. She's also a perfectionist when it comes to her work. She wants to make sure you look your best, and I have yet to ever be disappointed. My lashes always look so natural and perfect, most of the time I don't even have to bother putting on any eye makeup (not the case before)! I have been going consistently for well over a year and a half and have never had a bad experience. At one point I decided to take a little break from having my lashes done (a week was all I could deal with, I hated having to put on all that eyeliner and mascara every day!) and my real lashes did not look any different than they had before and were not damaged at all. The Spa/eyelash area is upstairs and completely separate from the nail salon, it is very clean, nicely decorated and super relaxing (I must admit, I fall asleep almost every time I get my extensions touched up). I seriously can not think of a single bad thing to say about it... even the prices are reasonable (especially compared to some of the "chain" eyelash places). read more

Loved this place! I was concerned about getting my nails done because of covid, but upon entering, they took my temperature and prompted me to then wash my hands at the sink. Plexiglass dividers were in place as well. I had a spa pedicure to celebrate my birthday and it was excellent. About 45 minutes and very relaxing. Would definitely return. read more

My aunt has been going here for a long time and I just started coming a few months ago since I live down the street. You have to make an appointment ahead of time which is sometimes annoying but they are usually accommodating if you call the day of. I got the powder dip gel for 40$. The color was defected (and the woman who did my nails admitted this). The color was darker and lighter in different spots giving a tye-dye effect to it. I had to find a nail salon by my home in a pinch as I couldn't go to my regular salon by my job. My nails are natural and I always get color gel manicures. I got there when they opened, and the older korean lady asked me rudely if I had an appointment. Since when is an appointment necessary for a manicure at opening? Ok. After failing to remove all of the gel from my previous manicure the same lady insisted I had acrylic on my nails and I needed a filler, not once but three times. I don't have acrylic and I think I would know if I did. The woman doing my nails asked the original rude lady if she could use the electronic buffer to remove the polish and she replied "I don't have time." I suggested that either she put the cotton balls back on my nails to remove the rest of the polish or soak them in acetone. They did, and the polish came off. Look at that, no acrylic. I asked that my nails be filed very square. I now have half square/half round nails. The top coat has already come off three of my nails and I have chips after only 5 days. There are plenty of other nail salons in the area. Don't waste your time or money here. read more
