I truly wanted to love this place but the combination of the poorly done pedicure and my nails makes me want to stay away! They got 2 stars because they have good quality SNS and I like 1 tech at their Bloomfield location. The pedicure was done backwards. The woman didn't remove my nail polish immediately. She did it towards the end of the pedicure. I've never had a pedicure like this... and i asked for SQUARE nails and my right foot had rounded nails.... ok Nbd it's winter. The nails.... i got SNS tips. I'm only speaking in SNS Tips...I booked an appointment ahead of time and I was clear with what I wanted. I showed up early, and they didn't have my appointment written down properly.. While she's putting my tips on, she glued one on crooked! I addressed it immediately and she stated my nail bed was like that..... I never had this happen before... so she re-did it after having to convince her! As she's doing my nails I notice she's putting the wrong color on. I address her and she stated that she's only doing that so the color I choose pops more... (I've been getting SNS done for over a year at their Bloomfield I've never seen this before ) In the end my nails are not the color I asked for. I show the owner and she agreed with me. She had to redo everything, proceeded to blame ME for her mistake because I didn't tell her before she was done that the color was wrong.....I did tho! and I wasn't even assured it would be fixed. I had to convince the tech to redo because it's wrong! And she cut me while fixing my nails! In the end, the nails on my right hand were Noticeably longer than my left. I had to file my nails when I got home so It didn't look so crazy!! The customer is never right at this location! Overall waste of my TIME and money. Stick to what you know Don't even bother. Go to their Bloomfield location and book with Jessica if you care about your nails. (I speak for tips and designs) read more

THIS is my new nail salon (& I'm super excited about it). I'm extremely picky when it comes to my nails and often come in for a manicure before the recommended 2-3 week mark (for gels and SNS). After going to a highly-recommended nail salon in the area for over a year, I'm thrilled to have found Rogue for SNS. The other salon had me going back 3 times within a 2-week period to fix broken nails. I'm on week 3 with this set and they're all perfectly in tact. The salon is credit card (+ tip) friendly, and clean. The staff is incredibly polite and offered a variety of drinks when I came in. I didn't make an appointment originally and they made it work. Today I visited Rouge Nails for the first time on a wim after reading reviews here on Yelp. I live in the area and have tried other nail salons and unfortunately have been disappointed. As soon as I walked in (with no appointment) I was greeted and was happy to see lots of seating and lots of colors to choose from. The salon is nicely organized and updated, as well as neat and clean. Monica started on my pedicure and she was very sweet and personable. She did a wonderful job on my pedi and I felt very relaxed and pampered throughout. She also did my SNS dip powder nails, which was new to me. Being that this was my first time trying SNS, I had many questions. Monica answered all of them without hesitation. I absolutely love the way they came out! Thank you so much, Monica! Definitely try this place out if you're looking for quality, cleanliness, and an overall great experience. An added bonus is that they have a special on SNS on Mondays and Tuesdays for $30. So I have been looking for a place to get my mani done and I always ended up getting disappointed until I went in Rouge, I was asked if I had an appointment, which I didn't, but that was not a problem I was seated immediately although they all had appointments schedule for less than five minutes with there regular clients. With no problems at all and no but Jessica did my mani the way the wanted including a design. I just love the way they came out. I definitely asked for a next appointment and I would highly recommend Rouge Nails on Route 23 South in Wayne. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, the location is spotless clean, very friendly staff, they even offered something to drink and best of all reasonable price. I got a pedicure and SNS manicure too. One of the few places that do it. First time having it done too. They did a great job. Place is really nice and clean too. Only thing is the owner, she was super friendly with everyone else that was getting nails done and was so-so with me because it was my first time there. I mean she did ask me if I wanted something to drink which was nice. But was having conversations with the others. I might come back. Hi ladies! I just wanted to share my recent experiences I've had at Rogue Nail salon on Rt. 23. First and foremost this is my personal experience and my opinion that I'm entitled to. There's no right or wrong in this despite the other experiences you ladies may or may not have had. The first time I visited this salon, my initial reaction was wow this place is nice and the space is really clean and appealing. I walked out happy about my gel manicure and regular pedicure. I didn't notice whether or not the woman working on my pedicure used properly washed and disinfected tools. However, my cousin who also went with me left with an okay experience and we noticed her nails changing colors and that was due to the nail tech rushing the entire time and not letting the nails sit under the UV light for a good amount of time. Regardless of her experience, I decided to give it a try a few months later when every other place I wanted to try in Wayne was busy. So the second time around, I met the owner of the place. She was super sweet and accommodating especially with a private event going on for a little girls birthday (kudos to this awesome momma for throwing her daughter such a great party with her girlfriends). I really liked the experience then and again walked away happy and also didn't realize whether or not the nail tech was using properly disinfected tools since the tools were ready by the time I arrived. I visit again months later with my cousin and noticed everything wrong with the salon. The appointments are always rushed, I had to continuously remind the nail tech what spa package I wanted for my pedicure. I noticed that the tools used for pedicures are SO unsanitary. My cousin and I asked that they don't scrub our feet after we realized it's not the disposable tools and that the women just wash the tools in the water our feet are soaking in and then stick back in the disinfectant/sterilizer machine. We were so appalled to see that a place that appears to be clean and pretty could have women working there follow such practices at a nail salon. Usually from my experience, at every nail salon, they use the one time foot scrubber (disposable sand paper) and toss the sticker. This place literally washed the tools in the dirty water and stuck it back in the machine. Also, the nail tech doing my cousins manicure, had to be guided fr beginning to end to fix her nails. Cuticles were not cut, the nail job was messy and she left unhappy again with a $5 discount from the owner who was very apologetic. Customer service is awesome but that doesn't mean everything will just be given a hall pass. While I was getting my pedicure, I had to ask the woman to go a bit slower and softer with the cuticle cutting and it hurt like hell and my toe is super red from the tugging of the cuticle she cut off. My toenails are shaped and cut so horribly for the money paid but I still paid the amount I was charged for and left a nice tip despite my horrible experience...i can thank my parents for the upbringing and being giving regardless. I don't think I'll ever go back and thought maybe 3rd time would be the charm but NOPE. Just wanted to share my experience especially because of the unsanitary practices. Don't be fooled by the beautiful appearance of the salon and the owners amazing customer service. read more
